Premium Member Washed Presumptively

Went down to the river
each time I sang
and washed presumptively
the flesh of kin
down, down, down
with knees bent
unfolded and rent
circled the floors
each time I sang
and raised the roof
and arms in praise
‘tis not enough to say
‘tis a start not lame
to accept His holy name
into your heart
down, down, down
in the burial tub
not shamed nor shoved
but proofed
Went down to the river
he did…he did
and brought his kids
each time I sang
and didn’t know
the refrain
my brain is too small
too weak, not all
that good a matchup
for the King
for the smiles He brings
when the robes are light
and they bring up all
onto the wall
certificates
down, down, down
to the store
not three but four
digging up the old old song
for just a while
my child in a frame
the whole world gained
NO…that is not it
it is for such a time as this
a family close knit
one returned to church
God gives back
threefold
folding my knees
holding my heart
down in the river
remember who parted the sea
remember who walked on the sea
kin came up from the water, free

Premium Member Sex Advice

True matchup in the tennis stands. Meant to be humorous.

SEX ADVICE

Making whoopie at the tennis match.
Dr. Ruth and Bill Clinton, tète a tète.
She tenderly touches his face.
He blushes, in the very public stands.
Is she offering advice?
I wonder who is on the other side.
Is there a lineup of folks
to set his face aflame.
Was this an intercession?
Is Hillary close by
or very far away?
Otherwise
Ruth and Billy side by side
go out for an auto ride
Bill hits a bump
Ruth hits a tree
and Bill keeps sexting ruthlessly*

*Original epitaph:

Ruth and Johnny, Side by side, went out for an auto ride. They hit a bump. Ruth hit a tree, and John kept going – Ruthlessly.

The Hockey Battle of Respect - a Maple Leafs and Lightning Season Series

Thursday, March the 5th of the year 2015
Another hockey battle comes along the way
It's a hockey night across the bay
And for the fans, it's a night of pride and respect

Thursday night with the blue and white
Trying to play for their season pride
Thursday night with the black and blue
Trying to play for their playoffs ride

When the dance on the ice begins to ring
Their voices of strong support will begin to sing
With an atmosphere of a pep rally from high school
The cheers of a true fan - a hockey team's supporting tool

Toronto Maple Leafs - the underdog team
Coming away from the bay to fight for respect
Tampa Bay Lightning - the elite team
Coming from the bay to keep their respect

From the cheers of "GO LEAFS GO" away from home
To the cheers of "LET'S GO LIGHTNING" close to home
Hockey Night in Tampa Bay - a worthy game to expect
And their season matchup will be known as "The Hockey Battle of Respect"
