I Need To Man Up and Love Myself

I Need to MAN Up And Love Myself
I'm just like a book on a bookshelf,
Haven't been read in a while
It's like I'm living in a state of defilement
It's dusty, who's been treated unjustly

So I turn and see a pristine book on the shelf
And that book is all about Love
And I say "Love open up"
I look in for a closeup

I felt the urge to put my feelings in writing
I really feel our connection is tightening
My dear beloved
I really feel my life did just start

I would rather have you than a million bucks
You are like a white swan amidst ordinary ducks
I think we are the perfect match
For you, I am willing to stretch

You mean so much to me
With you, I really feel free
Eternal bliss is where I'm bound
Near you, everything is sound

This Self-Love is for you, I hope you will like it
Because loving you, I will never quit
This poem has come to an end
Remember that, without you, my heart feels bent

Just Man Up

Sometimes it hard to let go on some things.
There is no shame in that.
But the fact is you just have to look past it if it happens.
It makes you feel better.
It makes you look past the closed door and move forward.
You feel stronger within yourself.
But holding on to those thought and scene is like a heavy burden holding you down and dragging backward.
Anger don’t hurt anybody infarct it does more damage to you yourself.
You have to look pass it or maybe crate a monster in the process.
No matter how much it hurts or she hurts, you have to forget it.
Don’t think about it in excess.
My advice is move on, two wrongs don’t make it Wright.
I know you might look like a fool, your pride seem smashed.
But it still not Wright to go around with a burden.
She might not come around with an apology note or a sorry face.
Just be the man and show her you are not broken.

Man Up, and Get It Tested

Prostate cancer isn't funny...

It’s just a blood test, no-one sticks
Their finger up your bum
You may not care about yourself
But what about your Mum
Your kids, your girlfriend, mates
Your mistress, and your wife?
Man up, and get it tested
Save a life

It’s just a blood test, just a little prick
You won’t be a hot lover when you’re sick
So shut your eyes, and hold your manly breath
For life and health are sexier than death

The Man Up Above

Protect me from hurt
Shield me from the world's pressures
Guide me cautiously

Man Up

Man Up..

Man up
Have convictions
Have concerns
Man Up
What have you learned

No time to bluff
It's getting rough
The things you do
Are not enough

Man Up

You have the ties
With convictions
You can rely

No need for you
To wish
To yearn
Validate
What you have learned

It takes more
Than body strong
Man up the mind
You can't go wrong

Man Up

Man Up,All the Way Up Pt2

man up all the way up

i've held other peoples burden
and not at once
i showed signs of hurting
until there was you
my window was open
then some how i close curtains

alone alone
thats what i'm deserving
alone alone
but some how it's love i'm serving
been kick been stomp
gave a cold shoulder
still when music come on my head bop
been push been pulled
but not at all dropped

left alone left weary
dreams confine the space
i fill in life
my love is tough
no matter how sharp is your nife
 you
can't cut me
but some how

you pic my lock
and made me feel so lovely.
when my friends in trouble
i'm the first they call
but when i'm in trouble the lord i call

so my only friend is 6 feet
so you can sense that theres more then just
a broken heart that's man up
instead of robbing i gave
in stead of living i saved
and i answer my only craved
so there for i'm more man then
reality can ever afford.
so Recognize the God in me.

Man Up

every other nite i'm
alone
                                                                   even when i write
myheart
                                                                   selects the words to
the poem
                                                                 my moms tell me,i'm
acting
                                                                 like my pops when i
didn't even
                                                                 know him.
                                                                 my feelings throw rays
                                                                 of affections. and i
just show em
who knows i can be right,
and you
                                                              you can be wrong. well
i'mma let
                                                                you know that i'm moving
on
                                                                and in the future we
both will come
                                                               to find out what it
beholds.
