Malefactors Poems | Examples

Premium Member Who Art Thou

In this vast ocean of delinquent bawd,
loose malefactors stood in ambuscade.
to assuage the fiery zeal of pilgrims
through the path of the pits into the dungeon,
to quench the light of true life.

They allure through facade of a putrid clay,
and conceal the serpent in their thighs;
to seduce the Nazarites on a mission.

Oh Samson, “the philistines are upon thee”
though Delilah conspired with demons for this fall,
one from the camp, beckons a prey and the gang of marauders readily,
makes a mockery of true strength.
The enemy from the bedroom.
Puts a dagger in his heart
assigned mandate of diabolos

Hell hath them many walking the earth
disguised spirits in human flesh.
sapping strengths from precious souls.
squashing the destinies of valiant men.
at whose bidding dost thou fly?

Look around thee

look within thee

look above thee

who art thou?

Speedie

Sitting behind the sign on highway one
Waiting for hoons the whole day long
The cruiser was primed and ready to go
To catch the malefactors in their tale of woo

In those days you had to hunt them down
No radar or laser to record speeding around
A follow and time the only way
Get up behind them and let your speedo say.

That was the old Speedie method
To make the road safe in all speeds measured
Now there is no use for for billboards hiding much
Scientific instruments measuring speed and such.

Speedie is a slang term for traffic police.

2000 Years of Jhs

Blinded Nation's people were shouting:
crucify him, "he said, he is the son of God".
His blood on us and our children.

Cross smeared with his blood,
condemned, through nails
joined with cluster of malefactors.

2000 years of infatuation,
without acknowledgement of guilt,
there is no pardon and no recompensation.

Some were converting individually,
Samaritans, Saracens, Zealots:
Chesterton, Pascal, Stein, Brandstaetter...

Others have been scoffing.
Punishment will rotate as the wheel,
until Covenant will be fulfilled.

Satan

Sinful ruler of hell
Abhored by most
Tortures malefactors of sin
Adored not, but feared
Never ending malicious thoughts

Premium Member Had God Not Chosen

He didn't want to take the trip,
to Calvary that day.
But did it for the good of man,
that we might have a way.

That day God willed for it to be,
that his life he should give.
Along with two malefactors,
so that you and I might live.

The soldiers there did mock him,
gave him vinegar to drink.
Then on his raiment did cast lots,
as he stood at the brink.

The people stood beholding,
the rulers were there too.
Jesus said "Father Forgive Them;
For they know not what they do".

They nailed his hands, and then his feet,
oh what a sight to see.
Then came the spilling of his blood,
the price to set men free.

Then upon earth a darkness came
the temple veil was rent.
After crying to the Father,
my Saviors life was spent.
