Had God Not Chosen

He didn't want to take the trip, to Calvary that day. But did it for the good of man, that we might have a way. That day God willed for it to be, that his life he should give. Along with two malefactors, so that you and I might live. The soldiers there did mock him, gave him vinegar to drink. Then on his raiment did cast lots, as he stood at the brink. The people stood beholding, the rulers were there too. Jesus said "Father Forgive Them; For they know not what they do". They nailed his hands, and then his feet, oh what a sight to see. Then came the spilling of his blood, the price to set men free. Then upon earth a darkness came the temple veil was rent. After crying to the Father, my Saviors life was spent. taken from Luke 23
