MANTRA

 She sees in bearded baba
 a radiating white light
follows him with trust and peace

alone in the bed meets him
 for mantra in the ear
 only to discover

 a rapist narcissist
 reciting his ode to sex
 in three-word phrases

The serpent stamp is on the file Pt 2

Against those throes of untimely demises that Hormel chili should usher in surprises, or so the weapon goes to the kiln where kilts affray melt ire still, but beside the moon, that heavenly crest shan't ring new tones, the silent rest, whereupon one green stamp made this here, reap and commala like times past my dear, where one thing never finds Ms. Garland and another may leave her, is it simply constructed or beaten and beleaguered? I beat the metal hot and strong, but saintly serpents proved them wrong, the energies aglow like fires unkempt, the hearth and mantel heavens lent them and showered the earthly with cures galore a poor poet's boy, Aurora's demure.

Premium Member No Expectations

I said to myself: ‘You deserve more
than the drivel you’ve put up with.’
Walked in, no expectations.
This club? Just an escape.
One weaponized wink
froze me in place
purring ‘I’ll
be your
prize.’

Premium Member Red Light Motion

I painted the dance floor with the strongest
smile, because I had no choice but to move.

Close
        closer
                 shoulder to shoulder..

I went a little crazy just to take in your aura,
that energy controlling all of the fire in you.

Shoulder to shoulder
                                closer
                                         impossibly close..

I channeled that song to capture a spark
and maybe dive in and go for your heart.

Loud
         louder
                  heartbeats slam like a drummer.

Hitting my soul and demanding that I ask
‘Your moves beg me to run your red light.
What the hell is your sign?’

Him and a Little Bit More

Feeling a stinging, sharp pain.
It's fitting perfectly, like a puzzle piece.
Who is it that is to blame?

Going faster and harder till both of us break,
going still, even if I freeze,
'cause, oh Lord, it really is for my sake.

All the fire inside of me,
the feeling only screaming, “Please,”
letting them out, letting them grow, letting them be.

He is all I ever wanted to achieve.
With him, the largest problems transform into relief.

Premium Member Beautiful Depression

What is it that is wrong with me
If you would allow I'll easily explain
There's a monster named depression
That is living inside my brain

A fierce warrior you can't defeat
Against happiness it'll always win
Happiness would be better off
To leave and never return again

Eliminating it's enemy emotions
My depression the last to remain
So that it can build a great kingdom
And live peacefully inside my brain

My depression I promise is loyal
It has sworn to never go away
At last my beautiful depression
I believe has come home to stay in

Closer

Come closer—
close enough that the air between us
forgets where it belongs.

I want to feel your warmth
answer mine,
your heartbeat finding its rhythm
against the wild beat in my chest.

No distance.
No careful words.
Just skin near skin,
breath tangled with breath,
and that dangerous silence
that happens when two bodies
already know what they want.

Your presence is a slow fire,
a pull I feel everywhere—
shoulder to shoulder,
chest to chest,
my body leaning into yours
like it has been waiting
for this moment all night.

Hold me until the room disappears.
Until the only language left
is the way we move closer,
again and again,
as if gravity itself
has chosen us.

Tonight,
let our bodies speak
in the deep, trembling language
of heat, hunger,
and wanting to be
as close as possible.

Premium Member Who Do You Love

I don’t know much about love
But I know one thing for sure
“Love is love” gets it all wrong.
Who and what do you love?
Because it makes all the difference.
Do you love Satan or God?
Do you love only yourself or others?
Do you love peace and freedom,
Or tyranny and mayhem?
What, who and how you love
Is more important than simply loving
Without discernment, without judgement
Because that selfish love isn’t really love
It’s just selfish lust in disguise.
And selfish lust is certainly a thing in itself,
A natural thing we all deal with,
It just isn’t love.
What is love then?
Ask yourself who do you love.

Premium Member The Caveat

For you? Anything. But it must be returned.

My heart is pretty much always in pieces.
If you can’t work a puzzle? Just walk away.

I tend to chase very dangerous photos,
capturing that dirt road just to get a buzz.

Boredom is something I cannot tolerate,
if you like it laid back? I’m not that space.

Handle with care unless it’s not the time,
be attentive and treat me appropriately.

I will eagerly give all I have for you to stay,
the caveat is you must want to possess me.

Withering away without an amorous touch,
fall hard for my seduction then take control.

It must be returned, but for you? Anything.

Premium Member a new addiction

Darkness grows as the piano plays its song
skin first tasted, becomes
 Insatiable & Ravenous.
Eyes turn glassy with a new addiction.
The piano beat slows down,
like the wind's sudden
change,
chasin' the grains of wheat.

Get a room

There once was a couple from Rundle
Who together we could only see double
Joined at the hip
We shouted a gip
"Christ, get a room for your muddle!"
