High school crushes are not just emotional feelings; they're blushing, too. If he has a
crush on her, she has a crush on him. And if she has a crush on him, he has a crush on
this girl, too. All teenagers don't even know that they have a crush on either, unless he
and/or she tells him and/or her. Among all high school teenagers, there's a difference
between love and lust, especially when they have daydreams about that individual. I
remember my sophomore year when I had a crush on this girl. Everybody knows that these
crushes will eventually turn to love and most intimate relationships will be unbreakable.
Sometimes crushes don't last for more than 24 hours, but some of them do. And even if he
and she don't get into a relationship after telling each other that they have a crush on
each other, at least they're still friends. That's all that matters. And if these high
school crushes continue to increase, there's no stopping it. I wonder if there's going to
be an intimate relationship for all young couples?
First and Only
by Carlyn Parent
My heart tingles around the boy
in our middle school hallway,
inducing my body to a pleasant numbness.
My words stutter
the first time we innocently speak.
Time stops
when his soft, thin lips passionately meet mine.
Surely this is just puppy love…
My heart tingles around the young man
in our high school hallway,
inducing my body to a pleasant numbness.
My lips waver
when he smiles my direction.
My legs weaken
when our blue eyes connect.
He is my first love.
high school relationships
not meant to last
a week
a month
your lucky if you make it to a year
its just experimenting
testing the waters
discovering yourself
through the interaction with another
but i don't believe
that, thats all you are
that, thats all we can ever be
an experiment
a stage
a high school relationship
i look around and see
relationships destroyed by the stupidity of high school
and the uncertainty of adolescence
and the unbelievable stress of human nature
but i dont want to be
just a memory
i want us to be the exception
so marry me...
through facebook
and we'll see if we can be more than memories
