Dark louring clouds,
Golden hues of flirting pirouettes,
Hushed waters,
A gentle breeze in whispering conversation,
Lovers' bliss,
Dream's honeycomb,
The soul shall have its sweets,
And taste love floating free,
Where the shore kisses the sea,
With subtle coquetry.
I shall meet my heart,
Where her emotions are soaked,
She will lure me into her depths,
To caress that special flame,
I shall not resist the urge,
Standing on the edge,
Where my fall will be splashing delights,
And when you have had me,
I shall confess,
That never have I loved like this,
Where everything in me is consumed,
By delicious flows,
Of sea song and heartbeat waves.

A vicious spell has been cast
into a black cauldron to boil
Trouble and toil attempts to spoil
The snake is beginning to uncoil
He will keep you up late reeling in hate
continually accepting the dangling bate
Post twelve o’clock chime precisely timed
his louring voice will play games
behind the candles flickering flames

Betimes in the noiseless, scary night;
Whenne the Moon and the Stars winkle not as bright'.
Thy child, O My Lord! Recline beneath thy Firmaments
Whenne the greed to surpass beseech Divine for armaments.
Bless me- Almighty! A drop of thy might,
I 'm blind, my Benefactor! A bit of thy divine sight.
I'm esurient for edification and surreal humanity;
O my deity, for thy modicum omniscience and eternity.
Heed my Father, Regard! Thy henchman's dilapidated
Please cosset haste , He's ruffled and mutilated
Braving myself and praying as the sky is louring
An indigent in your unearthly self; his entity He's scouring.
He envisages too: My Lord! is thee thinkin' Am I true?
Then tell Thy Majesty- if I am not THIS then who?
(Am I)

How fickle are the humors of the heart,
capricious and of alternating hue.
a masked chameleon of cunning art;
transmuting colours often hid from view.
Now sunk in sombre thoughts of deep regret
now tinged with envy's veil of deepest green,
rose-coloured when by love's suffusion met
or cleansed as white as snow and pristine clean.
Just like the changing seasons, hearts endure
bright sunshine, louring skies or sudden storms,
and when the heavy heart is overcast
it looks not upwards as a rainbow forms.
Kaleidoscopic heart, at journey's end
which hues will shape the palette's final blend?

I gaze out my window and see the same
Handsome house of someone I could not name.
A fair home adorned by a mellow lamp
That comes to life when day fades away and
Turns to cold autumn night. Though so simple,
The light which glows from his window sill and
Flows out to illume the louring night mist
Moves me in ways words fail to illustrate.
We are strangers who know each other not,
But by mere chance, his light has warmed my heart.

Winter brims
over bouldered ground
above Rostrevor.
Louring skies meld
blue lough to green forest.
Needling wind keens
through raftered bones,
once homes,
hewn from ancient granite.
Mourne claims her own,
over and over,
defeating generations.
Hasp and staple,
galvanised against the sleekit mist,
defend rude-lintelled doors.
Who comes?
Only ghosts of emigrants,
wraiths of mountainy men
whose quick selves
coaxed poor life
from pale, barren hills
above Rostrevor.
