My Lori

My Lori
I love you more than anything in this world
For 22 years you have been my life and my world
The hope I held on to when all my pride was gone
The tough woman who pushed my broken spirit along an kept me strong
An angel who pushes me up every time I fall down
The sweet voice that I heard in my hard times falling down
The person who loved me when I felt I was all alone
The beautiful woman who my soul calls home
The diamond that in my darkness that simply shines
The essence of love that is deep in my mind
I can never repay the things she has done for me
It would take all my energy an love to equal it from me
My peace my heart she is all that for me
Her name echoes inside every canyon in me
There is only love in her inside me
A beauty a goddess an all that is love in me My Lori

the death index is at a Chi-town high
while Mayor Lightfoot stands idly by
she refused to hold court
with Caucasian reporters
stomping white folk while black people die

Molly Lori

Eternal waves, cascade for days
Sun dried and free, they frame her face
Twirls and spins, cinnamon skin
Sky blue eyes, magnetic grin

To the T, my mini me
But more than I could hope to be
Angelic, sweet, glitter tipped feet
If I’m a song, she’s my beat

She shows me grace, that feels misplaced
In my heart, she fills, a broken space
The belle of the ball, though, still small
My Molly Lori, she has it all

Lori

Flawless is your title.
I play with words but they are far from idle.
You are, you are.
Perfect I know you've heard this before.
I could say nothing, I could say everything
And then some more.
You are flawless and I think you should know.
I am so into you but would rather not let it show.
I am afraid of nothing, besides letting it grow.

You're beautiful, sexy, and a very rare pearl.
You remind me of no one.
You're the first in my world.
I think of kissing you everytime you speak.
Thoughts of you is everyday but incomplete.
Lori, Lori ,Lori like a scratched CD, your name is stuck on repeat.

I could care less of tomorrow nor of the time.
That was before I met you Lori.
Then I suddenly developed a one track mind.
Maybe I've crossed the line saying all this.
But I was always unruly which is my curse and also a gift.

You are, you are.
Perfect and I believe you know this.
You are beautiful,
Lori a day with you is a day well spent.
And a kiss from you would be a Kodak moment.

Premium MemberOde To My Lori

Your torrid feminine allure stoked my desire,
Like an ancient dragon breathing on Hell’s fire,
Our spirits began to dance,
A sultry minuet,
Spiraling higher than we could ever expect,

A universe of stars could,
Never glisten as bright as your eyes,
The grandeur of your smile,
Eclipses an auroral sunrise.

Your wit is as sharp,
As a Groucho Marx line,
Your intellect is on a par,
With Albert Einstein.

Your compaction dictates,
You take the underdog’s side,
And by nature,
You could not even a fly.

Your capacity for love,
Is like no other,
You are an artist, a musician,
A mother and my lover.

Now that you don’t have,
Time to grow old,
Everyone’s heart you touch,
Turns to gold.

Premium MemberLori At 53

A number’s value is relative to its use,
If you find $10 it would be good,
But, $100 is a golden goose.
As for age, when one’s young,
They wish they were older,
But, when one’s old,
They wish they were younger,
Of this apparent paradoxical enigma,
You need not bother,
Because at age 53,
You will never be older that your mother.

Lori,
was a beautiful strawberry blonde
i don.t know which i love best
watching her eat juicy strawberry's
or playing volley ball
Lori what eye candy you are as you
get wet and lay out on the beach.

Prayers For Lori

.

Peace, the kind the Master gives
Requires faith that He will provide.
Ask all things, as according to His will
Yielding to Him, your fears and doubts.
Enjoy the comfort only He can provide,
Rest in His love, as that of Father and child.
Serenity can be found beyond understanding.

Forge hope, a stronghold of faith, yet unseen.
Offer thanksgiving for God’s wonderful blessings.
Remember, He also wants His children to be healthy.

Lori, please know that you are loved beyond your circle.
Others, upon your behalf, petitions God for your healing.
Resounding voices are lifted up, desiring joy for your family
Indeed we ask, “Render, O God, your tender mercy!”

Get Well Prayer

Though it may seem you’re traveling
On this rocky road alone,
May this little verse assure you, Lori
You’re not truly on your own.

Your friend Rick has called upon us.
His poet friends from everywhere
Are holding you with loving thoughts
And sending up a prayer

May He hold you in the Hollow of His Hands
As we pray for your each day..
And may you feel His presence with you
On each new step of the way.

	With love,
                Joyce

A Dedication To Army Pvc, Lori Piestewa

From the time, You became an indian squaw
Were you A rebel like Quick McGraw
Unhesistant of answering that Call
Knowing true Warriors Never stall
That We before walking first gotta Crawl
Like Our Loved Ones, back Home, that are Small
Yet, let's "just fix it", Y'all
When in Our court, is the ball
For the Reward of feeling Ten feet tall
If not Another name on the Wall
Even if We, upon trying, Stumble and fall
Cause No matter what, We're heroes, One and all

Lori Kerrigan

Little things they mean the most
Open minds, beliefs in ghosts
Remembering all this life has taught
Instead of all the pain it’s brought

Knowledge gained from every test
Endowing me to be my best
Rewarded with all it is I’ve got
Rest assured I have a lot
Instilled with emotions over the years
Getting rid of most my fears
As of now I’ve learned to love
Now I believe in God above

Hats Off To Lori

I need just to tip off my hat to inspire
this palest of blonds in her bristling fire
From glints in her eyes which force me to smile
to dreams she lays out like a feast.
I wish to be near her and wander her presence
from every word which becomes every sentence
From family to friend in a spark of an instant
this sister of mine is complete.

All of your dreams are quite safe with me
I'll fill up my hat with you eternally
From moonshine to cold in our hair in the city
we memorize every street.
Let's always promise to keep this connection
of just you and me and a night of perfection
From winter's embrace to our laughing reflections
Replacing my hat, I'm complete.
