My love for you
By Michelle Morris
08/02/2023
My love for you is like a perfect snowdrop
That pushes through the snow at the first sign of spring
Such purity and wholeness
Hope and joy and peace co-mingled
This happiness and deep emotion
This celebration of life and choice
In every lifetime, I choose you
In every moment, I choose us
My love for you is like a perfect snowdrop
It renews itself with the seasons
It is beyond time and space
All human and worldly reason
Perfectly imperfect
Perfect for you and I
May we be forever blessed
As our souls are forever entwined

It’s all right if I fall apart
Vases are meant to be broken
My glue fails in togetherness
See ancient plain of jars stalwart
Old, weathered, and unwoken
It’s all right if I break into pieces
The day comes with its crazy glue
Beckoning me to keep it together
So what if others look mint
I practice wholeness bruised
I’m letting go of perfecting
Even fine porcelain has its cracks
Brokenness has its rewards
Scattered see how the pieces fit
When the day comes hammering
The whole is afraid of falling
Down below nowhere to go
Perfect in imperfection is a relief
Pieces of me drop away again
My heart lurching finds a home
If only my pieces have a voice
Speak my broken objections
Help me to remember shattering
Natural as peaceful dissection
Poking anthropology for clues
Without dismemberment true
How can I know the whole?
It’s all right if there is no glue
Don’t put me together falsely
Finding perfection in pieces
Vases are fine either way

Just A Second Of Your Time
I suspend clung to optimism
apprehend channeled coupled
the uplift swing of the pendulum
exhilarated wholeness, subtle
for complete I, a task begun
trice's, thinks, terms, tic-tocks
of spring dawn unto wintry dusk
calendar masters a world runs
I am off, never lost yet must
nefarious filters ghastly whims
if finding myself out on my limbs
hourglass greets my gold dust
as serenity achieve the ones
each to their specific ambition
no audacity or deciphering dons
an ephemeral interest position
I sensed a serpentine easily
nonetheless, ensure measures
downing dawns a grin treasured
close up a swung ped breezily
a sec ends, repeat escapism

In your squish hug the arms subtly transform
into the wrap of heart’s enchanted embrace,
transfers the lingered yearning latent within,
setting sail in the stream of my ardent ardor.
In the fervent sea it braces the shoulder of waves,
their crests adorned by the pearls of your smile,
entwined with the lattice of mesmeric moonbeam,
its sparkle splashes on my spirit, illumining me.
You come close in my fold, our shadow intertwine,
dispersed dualities mingle to fuse into oneness.
Even when the tides of time pulls you away far,
I feel you are ethereally embellished within me.
When in the fading gleam of the twilight tinge,
you return entranced, I take you in my arms,
all the strewn shards of my broken dreams
conjoin into wholeness in an instant of eternity.

Inspired by our spiritual growth. Don't allow others to drag you into their storms. Rise higher.
I embrace my Light
By Michelle Morris

I embrace my Light
I embrace my Love
I embrace my Divinity
I embrace my Power
I stand tall and strong
My courage is growing daily
No longer will I shrink to fit in
No longer will I dim my Light
I am made to Shine
My Light heals the Darkness everywhere
My Soul is a blessing to this World
I am magical and inspire wholeness
When you look at me
Consider what you see and feel
I am a mirror for your Soul
I remind you of your potential
Take my hand and let us rise
Let us rise together and create more Light
For each of us that vibrates higher
Helps create an uplifting of humanity
I embrace my Light
I embrace my Love
I embrace my Divinity
I embrace my Power
We embrace our Light
We embrace our Love
We embrace our Divinity
We embrace our Power
Together we can do it
Change the World and make it Shine
For Peace and Hope and Love
Expanding our Light Divine

i like this quiet time when all of life is asleep but me
it gives me time to reflect on everything that defines my life
however there are some times like this when i blank my brain and do not think at all
that gives me time to clear my head and maintain my sanity when i am a half a step away from insanity
in both instances, i say silent prayers as medicine for the wholeness of me
it is in this instance when i set myself free and truly vent to a real, definitive listening ear
when i am done, i fall asleep in the always waiting arms of a nothingness called alone
nevertheless, i refuse to feel lonely
i prefer to feel the warm and soothing light of joy, and despite it all, that is more than alright with me....
Shifting into silence, letting go of lower mind
Hitherto ego bound attention seems unfettered
We wonder what delightful pastures it will find
Intuitively going where rose petals are scattered
Meditational attention, poised without anticipation
Yet retains in the background a hum magnetic
Mind body hollowed out in a mode of cessation
Osmotically imbibes subtle vibrations eclectic
Guna Rajas rested, the polarities latent resident
Are Tamas as inertia and Sattva pristine stillness
The universe responds as of our innate sentiment
Joy or melancholy as chosen by consciousness
Cognising images, we draw in memory imagery
An instinctive reflex mind body based response
Thus unless the ambedo arises from pleasantry
We may be entrapped in emotions left to chance
As we be so we are and as we are we do become
Thus it is not in the melody or vacuity per say
Rather upon aligning inner and outer with love one
Do we shift to the centre, thereby ceasing to sway
What we are searching for not a fixed coordinate
An essence of presence whose fragrance elusive
It is only in resistanceless flow of stillness sedate
In connecting, not grasping, we feel a calm pensive
Shift from ego separateness to interconnectedness
Wherein we recognise unity in seeming diversity
Being but the beginning of vibrant spacial wholeness
Until we directly see the deep underlying reality
What then is ambedo but a letting go off of all bondage
Our eternal awareness choosing to reclaim divinity
With identity vaporised, there being no fear to assuage
As one with oneness we throb with bliss in continuity

(Note: These verses were written in Nov 2008 after I had both cataracts in my eyes operated and new lens implants done. My eyesight was restored to full clarity for which I am forever grateful! For the first time, and ever since, I enjoy crystal clear eyesight. What a joy! Verse number 2 has become my everyday mantra.)
I can tell you that the edge of oblivion is a
comforting place for the wise
Oblivious to the wondering eyes of the layman
that watch, things are seen just as they are
All it takes is a few steps on par with the others
& before you know it, you're in the void
At this point of no return, there's no space to
renig as you've come too far to turn back
You must now face the affronts perpetrated upon
the self as these acts of
friendly fire help to destroy true identity
Quickly burn these bridges with a passion & prove
your affinity to the flame that
spurred you to that point
The joint venture was sparked by the light & dark
parts of you
in order for both to get the others
point of view
It's the edge that shows us who we are inside
& who we need to be
if only we're willing to take those steps
to be free
You see, the inner eye never lies but it can be
deceived by eyes on the outside
looking in
I invite you to go within & look upon oblivion
with eyes steeped in truth,
as this is where all truth lies & all bets are hedged
If there's one place you can visit to find yourself
it's oblivions edge
for losing yourself completely in its nothingness
allows you to embrace its true essence
which is wholeness
Torn are the pages of a callow poet’s scripts and poetry
whose temperaments in intensity brews, obscurity he owns

Could it be his fiery red hair complements his fiery despair?
Flames of passion forged and fashioned from fragments
of wholeness denied blamed
Treacherous wrath resilient with bounds
and a harsh fixation that poison can cure
A martyr of poetic unjust, starved wooing words
spurned disdainfully by ruthless curs
O the valor oft times dons the mantle of resign,
sobering, despairing leap away, away
from the s c o r c h i n g i n f e r n o
internal, and into the great expansive beyond
Alas, at Sir Wrens St Andrew’s,
there lay the flesh of a premature eternal rest
and then, to bones yet destined to become fully-fledged

Farewell to his anguished soul,
