May we forever be lovers,
May we forever be friends,
And should we hurt each other,
May we quickly make amends.

May we enjoy our passion,
But never let compassion die,
Thinking in selfless terms as we,
Never emphasising I.

May we forever be soul-mates,
May our love eternally last,
May the food of love sustain us,
May we never have to fast.

May we use each other’s strengths,
When we are feeling weak,
May we both learn to compromise,
And always as one voice speak.

May we never keep dark secrets,
May we never tell each other lies,
May we both work unceasingly,
To ensure our love never dies.

The Vow

I am life but i am death
I am truth but i am myth
I am seen but i am invisible
I am beaten but i am invincible
I am drenched but i am dry
I gave up but i did try
I lose and i win
I burn but i have flawless skin
I fell when i rose up high
I reached out below the sky
I am you and i am i
You are me i wonder why
Under the blankets my realm benights
But inside my chest my heart ignites
I drown but i don't sink
I come up with froth near the brink
Unleash my wrath on the sand
Slither in pain crushed under your hand
I cry but you can't hear
Crying with anguish I can't bear
We were two now we are one
You are gone once you are done
I still lay i fathom how
It was your job
But it was my vow.

My Vow To You

You sit up and play your game
I sit up too but instead I write
What we do isn't always the same
But this is how we spend our night
Sometimes I sit and watch you sleep
Taking a break and enjoying the sight
Or lay on your chest and listen to your heartbeat
Can't help but whisper I love you
And smile when even though you're fast asleep
Still you whisper I love you too
Those are the little memories I keep
Though every day may not be as great
We always find a way to get thru
Cuz you and me were brought together by fate
No matter what anyone tries to say or do
We already been thru this plenty of times before
There's nothing we can't face hand in hand
With a love like ours there's nothing we can't just ignore
In the end side by side we will always stand
We already know we can conquer anything that comes our way
Cuz I know there's nowhere I would rather be
Not yesterday, tomorrow, or today
And I know you feel the same way about me
I can see the love in your eyes
I can feel it in every sweet kiss
With you I hold no secrets, no lies
Never again will this be something we miss
We have every day from now until forever
And I will spend each and every day
That you and me have together
Showing you that these words I say
Are what I mean more than anything
I want you to see just how happy you make me
And have ever since that first Spring
My vows are what I now cling to
And have since the day I started wearing this ring
I take what I have with you
As serious as every breath I breathe in
What happened in the past doesn’t matter anymore
Everything that happened back then
This time won't be like before
And I will spend every day of my life
Proving my every word to you is true
Cuz I am proud to be your wife
I love you!!!!!

I'll marry you, for health and wealth
but not till you're old and gray...

(I'm not opposed to leaving you
for a younger woman someday...)

Don't be surprised, my pet
afterall WE didn't wait

So obviously marriage is not
necessary to conjugate

You believed we were besties
but don't be fooled my dear

Now you are my lust object
or I'll tell everyone you're *****

Now do most the at-home work
and go work outside it too

Money is much more important
than whether you're content or blue

Go ahead and raise the kids
going to church, and praying

But you knew when you married me
I'm not into all that! (Just saying!)

To me, marriage is just a deal
not a holy Sacrament

Guess that means you could annul
if I misunderstood what it meant

A Vow

No matter what life tries to throw at us.
I promise l will not dodge our love for each other.
These last few months have made me see the best in me and the wonder in you.
Love has it's own special note that no instrument can play or voice can sing.
Its melody takes me back so many years I never thought a smile could last a life time but when I see yours my whole world is complete with no doubt or regret.
I promise to take your hand and hold it as tight as I can till I breath no more.
My life is about our lives together now.
My heart beats as fast as the ocean waves of emotion I feel for you
Love is a promise and I promise to love and honor you from this day forward or until the sands of my time run out forever.
This is the vow I make to you my beautiful wonderful lifelong love of mine.

Premium Member Love Bombing (Yes)

I hit your quiet like a pulse in the dark,
a sudden brightness you didn’t expect.
Your old world folded in on itself,
and you stood there, awake, unsettled, alive.
I didn’t plan the blast.
You were simply the one who made me go off.

I watched the shock move through you,
watched the truth shake loose.
And in that drifting dust,
you looked at me like someone you finally recognized.

I’m the love bomb that opened your life,
and I’m staying in the aftermath with you.
I accept the consequences of loving you,
the weight, the history, the realness of it all.
If the blast was the beginning,
then the aftermath is where I choose to live.
With you.
Beside you.
For as long as my life goes on.

I’ve known the empty world,
the one where every face feels gone,
where the room is full but no one is alive,
where you’re the last light left.
I’ve sat in that silence,
felt the air thin around me,
waited for reality to return.
And because I’ve been there,
I know the value of someone who stays.

So when you stepped toward me,
steady, present, real,
I felt the world come back into focus.
I felt the ground return beneath my feet.

I’m the love bomb that opened your life,
and I’m staying in the aftermath with you.
I accept the consequences of loving you,
the weight, the history, the realness of it all.
If the blast was the beginning,
then the aftermath is where I choose to live.
With you.
Beside you.
For as long as my life goes on.

I didn’t come to pass through your orbit.
I came to stay in your gravity.
To grow in the world we uncovered,
to stand where the old world fell away.
This is my hand, steady, open, sure.
This is my yes.

I’m the love bomb that changed your horizon,
and I’m living in the world we made.
I accept the cost of loving you,
and I choose it.
I choose you.
I choose the aftermath.
Forever isn’t a promise,
it’s the place I’m already standing.

The blast was the beginning.
The aftermath is home.
And I’m staying.
My answer is yes.

A Poet's Wedding Vow

As we begin a journey so uncertain,
you and I made one in a world of ours,
our thoughts and emotions to share,
our pleasant moments together to cherish,
and our pains and sorrows to endure.
I pledge my unflinching loyalty to you
this day, and for the rest of my life,
by taking an oath of fidelity to make
our uncertain journey certain.
I vow before you and God almighty,
to be there for you in times of need,
in times of want, in times of joy,
in times of bliss, and in times of despair.
I vow to nourish and to nurture your mortal body
and soul,
to share my infinite possessions with you,
and to bequeath them at death to you.
I solemnly promise to cast my hopeful sunbeam on you,
to cause your emotional eye fluid to dry in your moments
of grief.
Every thought of you gives me health,
and a minute with thee is truly a life time to remember.
Nothing else shall separate us both save death.
May heaven grant its consent to our eternal union.

His Whispering Vow

In the quiet of my soul, with faith I pray
Loud susurrations of praise delight my mind
As I look to the Lord to direct my way

Murmurs of love caress the verses I find
Descending from above in a soothing spell
Trembles my heart in a cacophonous grind

A peek into heaven's loveliness does tell
This aching heart that hope can always be found
For with us who are saved, the Spirit does dwell

With God's guidance, songs take over joy unbound
Grateful for all the blessings we enjoy now
Looking forward to His faithful silent sound

Filled with quietude, to Almighty I bow
Love is clamorous in His whispering vow

Premium Member Vow

We had made one on the day of our nuptial knot,
Folding hands, most humbly, divine graces we sought;
Being one for good and bad; in sickness, and health,
To love and serve till death, with no intention-stealth...!

Like fresh bouquets of our wedding, we preserved them,
Did, then, like 't' of those bouquets, our oaths went mum?
Strange stillness, first; communication, hindered, then,
Silence came to stay, like that of a brooding hen...!

Where is that love? Where are passionate kisses gone?
Why do we insist, often, on staying alone?
How that physical image that gave us appeal,
Gradually disappeared like the onion peel...?

Our attachment altered toward our little ones,
Allegations we scaled on each other in tonnes;
Each one of us, with our daily chores, went ahead,
Spell of our forlorn first-night bed seemed to have shed...!

Of course, I will not talk about our constancy,
None of us has gone astray, I'm sure, consciously;
We did not respect each other's values and space,
Yet, did our doubts about each other, have true base...?

With boredom, jealousy, stress, and grief we went on,
Arises, in me a doubt: will there be a dawn?
We are existing, today, as though for offspring,
Will in this state of affairs, our knell, at last, ring...???

The Vow & the Promise

I vow to be ya husband to honor & cherish you as my wife
to give you all of my love, from daybreak till the end of the night
I promise to be there for you from beginning to end
loving you not only as ya husband but ya best friend
I vow to take ya hand in holy matrimony
and from this moment forth you won't ever feel lonely
I promise to treat you like a woman is suppose to be treated
you won't ever have to cry to ya friends and say I cheated
I vow to give you my all, pick you up when you're ready to fall
comfort you in times of need when ya back is against the wall
I promise to cherish our time together even though it's ticking
make love to you in the physical even threw these lyrical writtens
I vow to be more than ya husband more than the one you loving
no need for a pre-nup I'm not gonna divorce you all of a sudden
this is my vow and my promise please just say I do
because ever since we met I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life wit you
