We are born remembering
DNA's sacred syntax,
cryptic receipts with multigenerational redemption value,
to redeem integrity through this incarnation's
fully functional root and crown potential
For ecological
politically co-intelligent
co-operative economic practice
with polyculturally unconditional intent
Mutual subsidiarity of peace
compassioning just rightness
declared only through solidarity
in co-prehensive
leftbrain consciousness.
Who are these would be CoRedemptive Mentors
stalking my multi-regenerational mirror?
Tempted by good and evil
I reconnect MotherEarth's suffering
to monotheistic FatherSun's not listening,
steadfastly ambivalent feelings
ambidextrously languaged
Riding Time's enculturing edge
flying forward for hope of better
stronger
surer lasting light,
fleeting backward darkening doubtful powers
to change what I cannot compassionately tolerate
to fulfill EarthJustice commitments together
as we might
were Anthros not a lone Redeemer
anti-hero monoculture
Prophets without sufficient Time
for holy spirit's embryonic forms
flowing full-natured unction.
This present makes a safer home
than future's pregnant womb
or past's enslaving RoyalAnthro tomb
severing analogical revolutions
apart
rather than preserving integrity's resolutions
together.
Double-bound
stigmatic
messiah wounds
Breathing in Earth's first breath
while dying out Ego's already last,
stifling my victorious solo shout
"not yet...not yet" out
My mythic time
portends mystery's co-redeeming climax
without embracing Beloved EarthTribe's
sacred sensory resonance.
Redeemer musing Heart
mediating fragile warring Mind
against unwisely breaking Body,
our Trinitarian Teleology
As messianic restitution
perpetually rides
Earth's suffering surf
of almost pregnant paradise.
Join me bask in God's blessings along this thanksgiving* list:
Breath of life we must enjoy since---
air we inhale is granted freely
oxygen in the hospital is costly
gasping may be done leisurely.
Time to walk in the morning gives---
well-being movement zest
great exercise to the fullest
serves as work-out pleasure, oh best.
Refreshing breeze adds to our wellness---
midst divine meditation sublime
toward reinvigorating climb
while filled with rejuvenation-chime.
Freshness of the day warms us---
during fellowship with our soul Lover, the Almighty
there on the altar of devotional serenity
within sweet communion-security.
Wondrous relaxation soothes our hearts---
for rest against pressures so torturous
short breaks, evidently gracious
preparation toward another trek that's victorious.
Poem writing moments we welcome as---
creative prowess-enhancement
verily of worthy engagement
toward achievement midst satisfying fulfillment.
Answered prayers fortify faith along
sweeter relationship with the Lord Who makes life triumphant
reaching-out to others for existence, surely vibrant
marvelous bliss only the Master can grant.
*Romans 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Tender is your age,
I must be gentle
and honor your gender
and the exquisiteness
it can show and offer;
a female is feminine,
not as rough as a male,
I compare you to a lily
that has purity
depicting its whiteness
and it renders
an unmatchable
example of ingenuity!
Beautiful are your traits,
refined, noble, and gracious,
but silence makes you restless;
and I must confess
how my awareness
delights in your flairs,
never expecting perfection
even from a spontaneous phrase
who is spoken eloquently...
wouldn't I praise it,
not considering it
an intangible malaise?
It's my moral obligation
to be attentive and protect always
your precious innocence
not tolerated by insolence
and from the constant harm
of heartless monsters
who easily bend a fragile will,
who defile a defenseless body
and also an unyielding soul:
a single bruise immediately
will sound the alarm...
and fling away my fury
with a glance of repudiation!
Tender is your age,
and innocent are your ways;
much you will learn from life
imitating who has lived enough to guide
your steps and make you victorious...
laugh hysterically amid the battles of rage!

In the depths of one's mind, foes reside.
Within oneself—a war cannot be denied.
Refers to individuals—their internal strife,
Struggles and spurs that shape their life.
In the realm of views and desires so deep,
Fear and doubt bestir—akin to demon creep.
Inner blows waged in the darkest nights.
People tilt with doubts—their inner fights.
Self-fuss, the first foe fated and faced,
Wariness whispers, leaving hearts displaced.
People may be snared by doubts so real,
But in besting them—true strength they reveal.
Inner demons lurk, negative impulses arise,
Anger, jealousy, and addiction—their disguise
Moral dilemma salient constant scrutiny of will,
Still, culling what's right or what's usable, still.
Emotional turmoil, a storm within the soul,
Grief, guilt, and gloom are taking their toll.
Complex emotions that can't be ignored,
A salient casus belli that we can't afford.
Dealing with this zeal is a joust to be fought.
But it's in facing the slam—that swell is sought.
Solitary sabotage that is self-saboteur.
Bewitching in behaviors that baffle our allure.
Success and well-being, they strain to impede,
But by owning the patterns, we can succeed.
The battle within, a constant struggle each day,
Enduring our inner demons, we find our way.
Through the depths of our minds, we forgo,
Facing gloom and letting pure selves show
In this inner enmity, we find sheer strength,
Conquering our fears, extant to any length.
No matter the challenges we may face,
We have the power to rout and embrace.
So let us defy our inner rogues with might.
And loom victorious, shining with core light.
So let us face our fear, doubt, and desire.
And ignite the fire inward that will never tire.
In the abyss of our souls, we hold the scope.
To rise beyond moils and let bloom hope.
March 8 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 28-29
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
FAITH IN GOD WHO OVERTAKES US WITH HIS BLESSINGS
God overtakes us with His blessings as we obey His voice
And stand by His statutes with obedient poise…
Midst faith, we always seek Him Who is our best choice
While loving Him, since in Him we do rejoice.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we keep His Word
And build upon His altar of good works’ record…
Midst faith, we always confess our sins, revealed by Spirit’s sword
While repenting, asking pardon against rebellion-discord.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we comply to His requirement
And offer our best sacrifice of sincere commitment…
Midst faith, we always prioritize His kingdom advancement
While serving Him, enabled by His empowerment.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we lift up His standard
And abide in His perfect will with His guiding safeguard…
Midst faith, we always rely on Him to win battles so hard
While trusting Him, doing our best as His steward.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we submit to His authority
And accept His orders since He is our King of great majesty…
Midst faith, we always strive to please Him in our duty
While staying close to Him, protected around His security.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we follow His command
And dwell in His good pasture He perfectly planned…
Midst faith, we always stay victorious in His promised land
While working for Him, fulfilling gladly His labour-demand.
God overtakes us with His blessings as we draw nigh to His heart
And listen to His counsel; from Him, never to depart…
Midst faith, we always decide to have Him right from the start
While exalting Him, overcoming selfishness’ dart.

Riding a roller coaster
Propelled by life’s velocity
Governed by instincts and thought
Driven by an urge to emerge victorious
Sentience deadened to conscience
Flitting thus from desire to desire
We built an imaginary script
Of narrow ego identity
Some conquests won
We saw not unshed tears
Of mute weaker souls wasted
Owing to our callous, feral savagery
Likewise, we encountered defeat
Whereupon we steadied heart
Resolving to rise once again
Imagining ego as the doer
Our face in the mirror
Reflected pride and conceit
Beggars too began looking away
Recognising our cold, hard countenance
So it chanced to pass that by grace
One day we chose to look within
Shocked to see soul shrivelled
Lonely in our bleeding heart
We stopped the flow of time
Frozen for what seemed eternity
Crying out silently into the vast void
Wishing to be healed and feel complete
A divine voice instantly responded
Asking if our resolve was strong
To walk the talk as affirmed
In thought, word and deed
The path simple and direct
Liken it to a hop-on hop-off bus
We hop off the ego bus and choose love
Shifting consciousness from head to heart
Voice of conscience grew stronger
We dwelt not on material gain
Shifting into mindfulness
A stillness continuum
Yet love that is imbibed
Takes time for assimilation
But what matters time any more
To the one who has since vaporised
In timeless time ensconced in bliss
Empowered by a magnetic pulse
Which we may give any name
Kundalini or The Holy Spirit
Baptised in the stream
Twice born, we yet lived on
Our soul within, one with oneness
Seeing now earth life as but a lucid dream
Wherein we are being breathed by God
As He does for all sentient life forms
To fulfil our soul’s smallest wish
Now aligned with love alone
Now we do honestly confess
We know not what scriptures say
All we affirm from our life experience
Is that once we align with God’s love impulse
For each step we take, He leaps forward
Gathering us in His warm embrace
Lighting the lamp of love within
Darkness then is no more

Repent and Believe Poetry Contest
Sponsor: Regina McIntosh
Poem inspired by the contest prompt: 1 John 1:9 KJV - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
When I strut through the door-
It is time to celebrate the end of another day!
Feeling victorious for a moment.
Spending the evening telling myself that I am happy.
But I say it more thoughtlessly each time.
Feeling satisfied is the appropriate response to the end of the day.
It was a really hard day.
The hardest day ever.
I’m just trying to relax.
Because I worked really hard….
Instead I am feeling reckless.
Here on this chair.
In this silent room.
Every time I try to stand, I become dizzy.
It’s never the right time to go to bed.
I’m always in the middle of some trivial thought.
And I can’t seem to notice when one begins and one ends.
I eventually fall asleep in the middle of some argument.
I wake up in the morning.
But not to an alarm.
Which is good because I don’t have to work.
So I can stay focused.
And continue relaxing.
March 1 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 5-7
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
FAITH IN GOD WHO FULFILLS HIS COVENANT WITH US
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His grace
For us to stand by faith along His strengthening brace
Against departure from good success’ trace
Unto prosperous progress in the Christian race.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His protection
For us to remain by faith along His perfect direction
Against temptation of selfishness’ devastation
Unto courageous fight through His instruction.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His mercy
For us to abide by faith along His deliverance-fervency
Against terrors that weaken our persistency
Unto zealous pursuit of holiness-constancy.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His Word
For us to depend on Him by faith, trusting the Spirit’s sword
Against deceit and wrong doctrine bringing discord
Unto fruitful stewardship in His discipleship-ford.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His kindness
For us to confess our sins by faith along sincere humbleness
Against vain pride midst destructive boastfulness
Unto honourable testimony by His righteousness.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His authority
For us to seek Him always by faith along His sovereignty
Against doubts and unbelief that attack His assured certainty
Unto joyful service through His blessed productivity.
God fulfills His covenant with us upon His fellowship
For us to follow Him by faith, obeying His leadership
Against hardheadedness, neglecting His partnership
Unto sweet relationship toward victorious worship.

Theme: Forgiveness
On the cross, He was forsaken,
My Jesus, His life was taken,
All His gains, He counted them loss,
He was forsaken on the cross;
He wailed in pain in the darkness,
Death He faced in its starkness,
For all my sins, He was slain,
In the darkness, He wailed in pain;
He forgave those who nailed Him,
Faced agony up to the brim,
This sinful world He came to save,
Those who nailed Him, He forgave;
He was buried in a new tomb,
Born to die right from the womb,
The sins of the world, He carried,
In a new tomb, He was buried.
He rose again on the third day,
Showing this world, He is the way,
He was victorious o'er pain,
On the third day, He rose again.
