For years I wore
your shame as my own
and lived unknown
in terror of being seen
like a leper
self-quarantined
intrinsically unclean
Your neglect
became to me
my insignificance
undeserving of your glance
Your abuse
became to me
my fault and utter blame
my soiled but rightful name
Your abandonment
to me
was my unworthiness
unfit and valueless
'Til this layered shame became
a camouflaging cloak
wrapped about with care
disguising me as if
I wasn't even there
How I avoided them
my friends so true
for they could plainly see
the agony in me
and I couldn't control
it radiating through
Yet butterflies won't stay bound
in crippling cocoons
integrity impugned
by wings that cannot fly-
and I at last have found
the answer to my wounds
in exposing you
and all your lies
You were cruel-
I do matter
You were guilty-
I am not to blame
You were unfit-
I am worthy
You nearly destroyed me-
But I overcame
Now my only dread is
of leaving this world
as un-notably as I came
as invisibly as I lived
to be known only
by others
as unredeemed as
you thought me to be-
No! the truth
will set me free...
I humbly give
this cloak to you
it was yours to wear
not mine to share
I'm through
I'm through
I'm through.
When each day begins
and each evening ends
knowing Earth is within our redemption intent,
our commitment to Sacred Earth's restoring Grace
within ourselves,
within our families,
within our communities,
within our humane-divine
nature-spirited species,
within our multi-species relationships,
within Earth,
upon Earth,
around Earth,
through Earths emerging sacred climates
cosmology
theology
ethology,
Then those economic and political
and personal and sexual
and relational and intimate
and vulnerable co-redemptive intended activities and investments,
evolve co-empathic awarenesses,
grow moments of bilateral Grace consciousness
transpire to transubstantiate
occurring and re-occurring event patterns
and rhythm landscapes within
and climates without,
in-between these dawn and dusk sacred wonder events.
To do less,
to invest less than everything,
is to risk Win-Lose harm to oneself,
and to one's sacred democratic cooperative trust
in truths restoring justice
over lies and errors disintegrating relationship,
To cooperate nondually more, so less dualistically interpreted divisions,
and dipolar, so less bipolar competitions,
and appositional, so less oppositional assumptions
between God's HolySpirit
and MatrioticEarth's Holonic Nature.
Judeo-Christian Creation Stories
are invitations toward restoration
of primal NatureSpirit Relationship;
not judgment against the too-secular, fallen, and unredeemed.
When our teachers teach other-phobia,
then we are listening and following
and too often voting for
false fake-evangelical prophets
of God as a Wanna-Be Totalitarian Fascist,
a Hater of Evil destining HellFire Futures
more than a MultiCultural Healer
toward Love-Lives Eternal.
We identify fake-patriotism
by discerning divine-humane rights
and wrongs
of monotheistic triumphalism,
rather than Gospel integrity
of profound Love
for Sacred Earth.
When each day begins
and each evening dissolves into
Sacred Earth's restoring Grace
within ourselves,
within our families,
within our communities,
Then those economic and political
and personal and sexual
and relational and intimate
and vulnerable activities and investments,
transpire to transubstantiate.
Belief is the nemesis of uncertainty,
in times of torment we keep faith
in God's gift of blessings bestowed upon us.
In a world without morals
Children of summer seek refuge
in colder climates; leaving behind
loved ones in the care of the almighty.
In days of Devilish darkness,
sad stars hibernate like somber souls.
Upon the return of solitude,
whilst shaping strings of silence,
a troubled tongue becomes a soundless voice.
Reminiscing unredeemed memories,
heartbeats echo gently at nightfall,
as a black blanket covers indigo horizons.
Shrouded shadows in manipulative mirrors,
shield the sensitivity of sincere speech.
Without words, embodied emotions,
integrate into invisible inflictions.
Perpetual pain from a poisonous past,
repeats in an unrhymed repetitive rhythm,
as fragile fingers trigger hidden trauma.
There are secrets in suppression,
with so much lost in a suicide of expression.
Spiteful spirits reappear, reflecting like
neoteric neon drops on midnight shores,
washing away forlorn forgotten footsteps.
Trials of time leave behind trails of truth,
as facts of fate fail in this false fairground.
Reflections of regret resonate a reality,
where the world is working on its own worries.
In hollow nothingness, no one offers holy hope -
only silence remains.
As snow covers frozen shores,
hearts look to horizons of higher powers.
Hope for a prospect of principles
from our creator, creates
realms of reverie offering refuge.
Lost in a moonlight dream world,
dormancy evokes pale hued horizons.
A serene scene of saffron, scarlet shades,
glowing gloriously in a devotional dawn.
After an advent of adversity,
ascending in adornment of appreciation -
born again blooms blossom to butterfly breaths.
Whilst at school, in the years gone by, when as a child,
Impish I was, and sprightly too, but not so sure of my mind;
Followed the old teacher’s dictum, “memorise by rote,
To succeed in life”, she said, so I got into the hard grind;
Truly, the best of my growing years, I had burned out,
Losing my sweet innocence in, fun filled frolic and play;
Coming of age, dilatorily, I realised, an axiom of life,
Nothing shall be gained, and everything lost, if I delay;
Deep in my heart, before college, I was so foolishly certain,
I was the one to have a broad, sentient, and an open mind;
Years of academic pursuit have scholastically conditioned me,
Graduate study promised the rainbow, but coloured me blind;
In the birth, infancy, and adolescence of a growing mind,
I thought, perceived, and believed everyone called me “blessed”;
Gathering my senses, from the stupor of failed endeavours,
I realised late, but for good, they had actually said “distressed”;
Rising from the ashes, determined in taking up a position,
I staunchly, believed in core integrity, and plumped for justice;
The grand old existing system, of bureaucracy, among others,
Taught me the principles I was proud of, now is my nemesis;
I know not, and care not, what predicaments and problems,
Might appear today, tomorrow, or the more distant future;
I shall forget the past unredeemed, and enjoy the present
Indescribable, nothing can dampen my exuberant nature.

These are the unredeemed
Unredeemed and unrelieved
In their souls in pain
Trapped in cycles without end
In many a violent place they spend
Unbearable time in mindless space insane
Sinning badly which no repentance
Prayers have freed
Nor opened a crack
In their selfish flow of greed
Darkness and humiliation cover
Every suffering creature over.
And in the black dusty dirt
Of the cemetery’s earth
Of every stupid town and city
There is a raging spirit of death
Remaining smiling and mute
Without compassion or pity
Returning from this land of dead
Dead again dead again
Where we found these lost
Empty sacks of human flesh
With hearts still beating but unfeeling
In the frozen bone white of winter’s frost
From an eternal winter of unknowing
The embers and fires of human love
In these valleys of earth
Are quenched by numbing
Social blizzards of hate
And civil indifference.
In desert sands their skeletal shells
Ambulate towards prepared graves
And faces of shifting suspicious stares
Pierce down unconscious of other’s cares
Falling raw into the rough trenches unsaved
Filled to overflowing with unredeemed blood
Surely these are the damned
Living in merciless mental swamps
With shoes soaked in dog excrement
And streets strewn with cigarette butts
A land haunted by roaming demons
In obedience to masters of rage and ignorance.
And the rare and precious and glorious
In the natural world of righteousness
Is left abandoned
Forever outside in a frozen wasteland
Of a world cursing God and His creation
And confirming forever a commitment to evil
Feeling “O how awful goodness is “
Away, away out of this madness
Fly us back, back into the brilliance
Of the precious and the glorious
Of the present Earthly Paradise
Hidden from view but always His
Greater is He

For twenty eight years I withered on the vine,
Without the bread of life to satisfy my hunger;
I had relegated Jesus to a spot on the sideline,
Having lost whatever desire I had when younger.
God cleansed my heart, and took my stench,
And filled me with a burden for the unredeemed;
So now the Holy Spirit I no longer quench,
And life is much easier than once it seemed.
Today, I’m just an old sinner saved by grace,
Who was living each day as he thought it should be.
I’ve moved from the sty to a better place,
After realizing one existed greater than me.
Oh! God where would I go and what would I do without you?
Nowhere at all! Nowhere at all!
I would be drowning into the deepest sea
of misery. Lonely and lost as I could possibly be.
Drifting far away from the safety of your shore.
Losing sight of your lighthouse's light.
All alone late and night. Crying out in pain.
Calling out your name. But you do not seem
to hear my desperate pleas for your tender
loving mercies.
Oh! God where would I go and what would I do without you?
I need you in my life. Your free gift of everlasting
life. Do not revoke my future pardons. Due
to my habitual life of sin. Turning it all
over to you. I have not lost my
everlasting life!
But to feel your redeeming love and matchless
grace. Not becoming part of the lost souls
of the unredeemed human race. When
your roll is called up yonder. I want
to be there. I am tired of life's
vanity fair. This world is not
my everlasting home.
I will faithfully try to remain close to your
side. And not look outside the box
of my Christian faith. Being
saved by your redeeming grace. Redeemed
by your shed blood. Your child now
and forever more I am.
Love in Christ Jesus!

Questions about the human soul have
mystified mankind from time immemorial
Is the soul of the faithful dead like Christian
in "The Pilgrim's Progress," making the perilous
journey from the "City of Destruction"
--our world--to the "Celestial City that is heaven?
What really happens when we die?
Where does the soul of the dead go?
Is it really true that the soul never dies
when one's lifetime is through?
When I inevitably spirit off to the great beyond
will my soul refuse to follow or tag along?
I wish I knew. It's the mother of all mysteries
What of a soul languishing in purgatory?
How long does it linger there in anguish...
waiting to be cleansed? Is salvation guaranteed?
So a soul as black as coal doesn't die
a dog's death when the body dies, too?
What of a rotten apple of a soul redeemed
as the body lies dying? It is also sieved and salvaged
by God on Judgment Day? In near-death experiences,
does a soul escape before sneaking back in?
What if a long-faithful soul goes horribly astray,
unredeemed? Does God still handle it with great care,
as though it were fragile glass? Is it still safe?
Or sucked into the vortex of hell for eternity?
Most importantly, what IS a soul?
Oh, the nagging existential questions!

The granary isn’t near overflowing,
Room exists for all who’d yield.
The need for Jesus is forever growing,
To reach the chaff yet in His field;
With fields white and near the reaping,
Let’s gather fruit unto eternal life.
The time is not for ease and sleeping,
When God’s fields are laying rife;
So let us reap what another planted,
Laboring for Jesus while it’s still day.
Getting the unredeemed transplanted,
Unto Jesus, for there is no other way;
I have sown the seed of faith,
And have reaped the harvest that came to be.
Thank You Jesus!
