Premium Member A Love So True

A love so true burns deep
                               Deep down to the bone
                                   A love that is real
                                And unforced will last
                                     For all eternity
Love truly and flowers of spring
                              Will blossom bountifully
                             Unconditional love shines
                                   Infinitely brighter
                              Than the afternoon sun
                                    And burns hotter
                               Than a smoldering ember
Love freely and the meaning of life
                          Will become unequivocally clear
Just love and your heart will flow
                                  Like a peaceful river
                                     Immerse in love
                             And blissfully trap yourself
                                    In love's undertow
A love so true burns deep
                                Deep down to the bone

Tennis Love

Two sets
  Apiece
To each player
And this is the
    Final set...
What a contest!
Both the players
Fighting to win
   The match
     Is equal
The scoreboard
          6-6
And we enter
The tiebreaker,
      An ace
And the first point
            To X
Serve and volley
And the first point
           To Y
   14 shots
And an unforced error
             By Y
There's the second point
       To X
Another Ace
And the third point
               To X
Double fault
And the second point
     To Y
First serve
And the third point
           To Y
Players
Take a break...

      8 shots
And the fourth point
    To Y
Amazing!
         A net point
Won by Y again!
A drop shot
      By X
A lob
Followed by
   A slice
Now Y leads
          6-4
Match point for Y
   16 shots
And a lovely forehand
      By X
            6-5
  An ace
       6 all
Now, that's an amazing game!
    An ace for Y
Another match point...
What a strong backhand!
        X gets the point
The match goes on...
    5 shots and Y
Plays it into the net
     A costly error!
Match point for X
A powerful serve
   And volley
                9-7
      Game! Set! Match!
And X wins the Wimbledon
    For the first time!!!

Unforced love

I should never have to strive or try,
To feel loved or accepted inside,
When you make sincere effort to care,
God showing me that person will be there,
I've spent years going above and beyond,
Trying too hard and then they're gone,
Opening my heart and soul,
Was it worth it if they just let you go?,
He showed me the initial effort is not in vain,
But after that they must reciprocate,
And to have mercy on the ones who can't stay,
Because our lives are filled with moments where we are unable to convey,
Where our hearts are at in that moment in time,
The fears we constantly must face in our lives,
We sometimes fight ourselves more than we fight others,
And sometimes it takes years to actually put it all together,
Space and time is also love too,
Still being there after all your going through,

unforced errors

In tennis,
Love means nothing.
Off the court,
It’s everything.

Tennis and love start the same—
Your pulse quickens, hands shake.
Your first high school match,
You lose the opening service game to love.
You would’ve felt less gutted
Had your opponent eviscerated you.

Tennis is a game
Of little lives and quiet deaths,
Each break point converted, electric—
Every winner a shock to the heart.
The points lost to careless mistakes internally bleed you,
Matches lost as a result of a million little cuts.

You could hold a eulogy
For each match lost,
Mourning them from the bleachers,
Hoping your team won’t feel the same loss.

The court slips away,
The way he did—
Your reach, no matter how fierce,
Falls short.
You swing, you miss—
The same way you lost him,
By fractions.
By fleeting moments.
By flaws you thought you could fix.

And when you walk off court,
It’s like leaving him again—
Bruised and breathless,
Haunted by points you’ll never win back.

The first time you fall in love,
He doesn’t stay.
And you carry it with you,
A soft ache beneath the skin,
Like the match you almost won
But couldn’t quite keep
In your hands.

WAGNER PHRASIS
Enchained by fancy petty wants
and necessity,undisguished
sensuousness burning with
fiery passion kindles the most
consuming flame,my peace of
mind was over.Driven to despair,
idle & disorderly,levity wounded me
deeply,tortured,no semblance of
reality,puritanical hypocrisy
ordinary & mediocre ,savagery
of taste,adverse outward circumstance,
all shadows on the scene.Confused I
remained silent ,my error was plain.
Through this trouble, hope a sense
of beauty,a new earnestness to really
know love, natural & unforced.Beginning
anew,my last reliance,vivacious & exciting
a state of fermentation, oh what bliss,my
goal was reached.Ah what a delight
it was.I stood amazed, its place in my heart,
the secret of art, free & unconcealed.

Visions and Wonders

Your laughter’s echoes are like a broken record in my hysterical brain
I misplaced my journey-like notebook, written in pen and pencil prudently and sincerely
Solace sunrays are embedded in your blue-green eyes and it’s driving me insane
Change is a challenging chore, but as someone once told me, “No one ever stops progressing, but it’s your job to improve frankly!”

Confined to this Depression wars, I feel like I’m frozen forever in his ribcage
Don’t accuse me for committing atrocious felonies – my intentions don’t lean on greed
I love God’s Wonderful deeds indeed! I loathe this fast-paced world, especially in this day of age, sponging up avarice and rage
Be careful what you watch, say, touch, hear, and taste – nourish your family seed

Visions of unforeseen, unforced miracles is a memory I hold dear honestly
I recall years spent on pondering about the tragedy in this fast-paced world and its many crimes
You scan my verses as if it’s a short story, catching your sheer curiosity
You have read me several times like a children’s book with silly Mother Goose Rhymes

I resemble shrouds of misfortune for cat’s sake...Now, am I worthy to be compared to a children’s tale? Am I the cause of the world’s calamity?
The dusk has dawned upon me…unearth the mysteries in the hollow, tacky atmosphere
Man’s plans were destined to be a fail from the beginning of time – why’s my heart thumping with pride and vanity?
Why should I rely on Man when I have God by my side? He’s the one and only that makes me have tears of hope, not frantic fear!

I’ve seen his wonders, so imperishable! I’m a witness to God’s phenomenal, faultless Work!
Why don’t you look at yourself in the mirror? Let’s face it – we’re all playing roles in this world’s tragedy!
Why are you throwing the blame on me? You resemble an irrational jerk!
I can’t bear being that individual who speaks his mind deliberately – I’m not acting immature! Straighten up your mind; stop acting so silly!

Inspired by Jake Ponce’s poem: Ephemeral and the verse (entitled: The Key To My Heart) written by Jan Allison! Check both poems out and you’ll be amazed and it feels as if you’re placed in their shoes. It’s remarkable. Do look them up and read their works. You won’t regret it.

He keeps his promises
     the marvelous work of God
prayer-answering
promise-keeping
caring living holy God
of the past
        the present
              & to be

speak o Lord
       your servant hears
fill my inadequacy
                      with you
make me your vessel
                     and renew

el shaddai
          my covenant king
          divine next-of-kin
who pays my debt
who bears my sin

Lord I can't
              you can
so I leave my outcome
                       unforced
my power of choice
                      is you
stay close
         set me apart
         different
        a light-bringer
a pilgrim
     with no hiding place
I contemplate
                my eternity
according to your mercy

Multicolored hands dissolved the pain, that rose within me
You were there; certain you'd win your part in the ring
Condescension became sparks I used as light to see
I held to my song you sought to silence, by your sting

Once again, your buzz faded and you fell flat
Hold firm the religious reins of your horse, I say
I offered flowers; you strutted, and then turn back
I gave you your day, with garland and songs unforced

Self-made pedestal holds no sap like earth's wood
You may think me soft as gel, nay! I am mahogany!
Papa was carver of antiques from those trees, you understood...
His hands were guided by the Source, the root of my recovery.

Grace Is Power

The grace that comes in the heavenly spade
Paid by the God of the great exchange
Surpasses the cleansing of conscience and sin
And reaches into the nature within.

For we are gifted the power of God
Who greatly and freely covered the cost,
That we can house His nature and power
That doesn't fade like a self-willed flower.

This power and nature cuts off the source
Of the rotting life birthed in our lust,
Replaced by the power that now can be traced
To the unforced tune and rhythms of grace.

as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the
knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us
exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the
divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. for so an
entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ. (II Peter 1:3, 4, 11 NKJV)
