Herbaceous Fragaria

Thicket of intermingled branch tangle
Hides pimple shine ripe juice strawberries strewn
Across pine needle pick up stick mangle
Fragrant lily pink tang gives tasty boon
Hook horseshoe slender stems support balls' dangle
Gloss hanging globes celebrate scarlet balloon
Bountiful renewed eruption of Spring
Sprouts floated fruit fit for a fairytale King

Hidden in haven bed of duvet shade
Shielded precious berries, safe from predator
Sweetest treats endorse purely Heaven made
Cones pushing petals exalt Mother Nature
Lanterns swinging China Town of gloomy glade
Lined foliage raises redness in rapture
Emblem of wild leaf crown insignia
Represents righteous memorabilia

Humble hunter uncovers last month's melt
Freshened season floods taste buds in wonder
Tart bumpy tongue tid bits brazenly dealt
By pine imbibed wildness growing under
Woodland umbrella where I'm gladly knelt
Gaunt Winter cruelty is cast asunder
God's lollies extend tender umbilical
Sun warm strawberry snack sabbatical

Winter

Black cloud enshroud blue horizon while migrating birds tweet their last goodbye

Arctic winds weigh down bare naked branches watching blinding storms streak by

Above forsaken lodge tower sequoias like sentinels safeguarding an empty citadel

Hungry bison scrapes damp earth for green grass then uncovers a nourishing well

Immaculate summits shed kaleidoscopic colors pondering the splendor of next fall

Snowflake encrusted serpentine rivers inside the path of an imminent frigid squall

Taking agile steps shivering wolves defend lives at stake to outfox predacious gun

Aging leaves tumble toward battered ground envying the sky waiting for the sun

We Lift Up Our God

We lift up our eyes to the One whose throne is in heaven,
the eyes of servants looking to the face of their Master.
Eyes searching for our Creator
Who uncovers his mercy and might.

We lift up our ears to the One whose home is within us,
the ears of students listening for a call from their Teacher.
Ears straining to hear the voice of the Spirit
Who promises us help and hope.

We lift up our souls to the One Who forgives and heals,
the souls of sinners begging for a Physician.
Souls shifting from doubt to trust in Jesus
Who reveals light and life.

We lift up our hands to the One whose hands were pierced,
the hands of surrender raising to honor the Victor.
Hands stretching up to The Lord in commitment to Christ
Who gives us peace and purpose.

We lift up our voices to the One Who alone is worthy,
the voice of the saved praising their Savior.
Voices shouting, “Thank You!” to the Almighty One
Who welcomes us with grace and glory.

The love story that never happened

Love story blooms like a rose,
And your the romeo I chose,
I planned on friends to lovers.
Beauty as the tail slowly uncovers,

Turns out we didn´t even last as friends,
guess this is wear the love story ends.
I am gonna blame it on my stupid heart.
Oh if falling inlove was a work of art.

Maybe I am delusional,
Maybe cupid had a cruel goal.
Whatever I will cherish the love story that will never take place,
and I will remember the look on your face.

But maybe someday I will find a real love story,
And my heart will have a victory,
But till then I will try to make it through,
missing you...

Your eyes that beamed with light
And your smile so bright,
Oh goodbye my never-happened-lover
just no my heart may not recover

From this never-will-happen love story.

Dementia
By: Miracle Man
5/1/2023

The scent of recall of times long past,
Uncovers many years of hidden hurt.
However, hinder years, can’t be recast,
life can’t be washed like a dirty shirt.

Dreams of the past now seem as ashes,
two lives smolder under daily stress.
Can two continue with constant clashes?
When each spoken word seems to depress.

As people age seems many grow apart,
some say the dew has dried from the rose.
It isn’t that one had a change of heart,
but each just sought their own repose.

Dementia busies itself in the mind of one,
making it so difficult for the other to cope.
Each day becomes another yesterday rerun,
both seek the knot at the end of their rope.
But God has Blessed!

"Remember, the entrance door to the sanctuary is inside you. Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking".

Oh, a flimsy state over grief, issues, and dualism.
How do I find the inner sanctum of nihilism?
As the guillotine of deceit hangs in plain sight,
How tempting are laziness, ease, and blight?

True divine tandem can occur at a sacred site.
An inner haven as you dwell in glory and light
Yield the path to connecting with the infinite.
In an inner sanctum, calm flows over divine might.

Bewilderment seems sporadic at first glance.
Once you've linked culprits, anguish may trance.
I succumb when the climate renders them unwell.
Cluttered mounds of breadcrumbs lead to a swell.

Ascending free from ominous pits of dread,
Seeking trust across awareness lies ahead.
Sensing the heavenly spark that will soothe,
Illuminating the path leading to the truth.

Stillness enhances your perception of taste.
Find the light; the climate seems to be quaint.
How subtly do things reverse disastrous?
I often fall into that abyss, myself in vastness.

The stain of low scorn darkens in midst of trust.
I stroll into the dismal clay of scarlet excess dust.
The ruthless grasp buried inside suffocates life.
In empathy, I endure the agonizing pains of strife.

Invest oneself in each mission and excursion.
These wonderful events allow for sensations.
Mercury is in and out of phase, as is the moon.
Be mindful of your tongue. The lips are strewn.

Flawed sensory acumen of a stray mind,
uncovers a spiritual path within a gild divined.
The inner sanctum door unlocks at that sight.
While the tulip blossoms with glorious light.

The soul sparkles with astral splendor and sequins.
In a hallowed realm, where rays serve as beacons
In my self-searching dedication toward eternity.
Inward cosmic trends enrich my trust earnestly.

When It Began

Scene I: When It Began
It is a soft-lit evening, my luscious lips ready, blood…sweat… red,
As I wonder just what can excite this insanely wacko head
Much blissful scenes, sounds and songs entertain these curling toes
Smeared makeup, made up again, green mess of hair that flows
When I hear from the other room, a sound quite like a groan,
A deep voice full of chocolate wonder, like a dog…I follow the bone…
Meandering through the hallway, the sounds become ah- thunderous
Till I reach the slightly open door, my eyes search in wanderlust…

And there he is, sitting upright, like a bloom resisting the wilt of winter,
His eyes glued on sumptuous words of worlds I could only dream to enter
A hood over his sexy head, his voice rises like crazed incense,
Then I realize why this winter cannot dare to stop such resistance
He is gazing upon wondrous words, his eyes in tears, lit with glee
I beg for him to look my way…give some of this stimulation to me...
Slowly….inevitably…I make my way to his side
Gazing where his eyes are glued, anxious to be part of the ride
And what I see changes my life forever…verses for longing touch
The oak tree grows, I’m blooming…I’m salivating so much

I take a seat beside him as he utters sweet ecstasy
Swelling ever more tightly, I grow more desperate at his mercy
He guides me into this realm I have never known as long as I have breathed
Now as I wallow in these words… they moisten and arouse each sense deceived
My imagination heightens, my provoked senses he discovers,
I’m anxious to explore this realm with him which now he uncovers
Guided swiftly to his masterful breaths and intentioned exhalations
I forget all past endeavors, all pleasure-based revelations
This is all I need now…. I have exactly what I desire
Just let me rise into the skies and take my place dear sire
What is this happiness I do feel, my growth is all but beginning
Enlightening…enlivening…. Writing in painful pleasure…winning

Don’t stop those eyes from meeting with her word
Don’t let the others in with this- who cares if we’re absurd
We are flying like cocks, winning pride from growing wings
Rising voices…raising flocks… never stopping for simple things
We’re beyond happy baby… for that I am certain…
I am ready on the stage….
Just waiting for you…
To pull that curtain….

Colored earth
     lies in fragmented bits
          gold and silver
               just out of reach
                      acid obsessions,
                            our souls leach.
Transience of fame
       ephemerality of
             human existence
                 provoke a
                      poignant admission~
                             of forgetfulness. . .

Endless craving
      leads to fits
           we desire what
                  lies beyond the glass
                        crystalline dreams
                                  soon turn to brass.
This underscores
      transient nature
          of personal memory
               & impact beyond lifetime
                    intensifying emotional weight
                           it declares universal truth
                                  of inevitable fading
                                        & human goals significance.

Out of reach
   is cold glitz
       gems sparkle
           with deceiving light
                  while riches
                        bear to flight
Dreadful dinotherium—
    a world of awe,
         indented as a saw
            it could hardly fail
                or poorly flail
                     when we slid
                           and tumbled

Fossils emerge;
we were born to walk —
 stay close; never stray~

Mining delusions
   uncovers depths
      into gloom,
          our hopes fall
               chains of rescue
                    remain beyond recall
                       Lost in searching
                           our wits
                                 blind us to love
                                      by our side,
                                          treasures
                                               magnified

Where Is All the Tolerance

We're rambling and we're ready
Everybody hop on the bus
Rolling along, rocking steady
Ready Freddy we're all standing up

But are we lost in the translation
Frenzy spilling from the cup
Drowning out a once great nation
"Where is all the tolerance"

Memories in the making
Hating where the day comes from
Blind disaster dating
What has happened to all of the love

Aren't we all brothers and sisters
Neighbors with a once peaceful cause
I just have one question mister
"Where is all the tolerance"

When the pain gets its name from the struggle
Haven't we all struggled long enough
The deeper the dig uncovers trouble
Forgiveness covered in dust

Screaming hate only leads to violence
Where is the trust we once had in love
What is right should never be silenced
"Where is all the tolerance"
