Last Night With Gucci

Dark serene
Alone and together
My world in chaos
Vocational anxiety
Financial sobriety
Yet all matters not
As I look to my right
Gaze at my Gucci
Amazed by her will
Her zest for life
Amidst physical turmoil
A ruthless journey
Made tolerable and enjoyable
By quintessential Alpha Dog
The Puppacino
The Gooty Goooooooot
My Boo Boos
The Salmon Queen
The Pasta Lover
The Yawn to Nose Nibbler
The Camel
The Beautiful One
The Poker
The Chicken Snorer
The Volleyballer
The Silky Coat
The Football Spot on Her Head
The Bird Chaser
The Sniff and Rub in the Grass Girl
The Horsey Dog
The Keeper of 'Head'
The Post-Shower Licker
The Beach Girl
The Mrs. Kisses
The Smoochy Gucci
The Stretch and Plop
The Head Hanging Off the Dog Bed
The Head Sleeping on My Pillow
The Snapping Turtle to Strangers
The Big Sis to Neeka
The Momma to BoyBoy
The Gucci Garbo
The Gallop Up the Stairs
The Trash Picker and Chewer
The Lover of Daddy Gravy
The Scaredy Cat of the Dog Door at the Old House
The Lover of Paseos
The You'll Need an Army to Cut My Nails
The Cancer Survivor
The Toughest ***** You'll Ever See
And as I share one last night
Just she and I
I feel lucky to be nearby
I promised myself I wouldn't cry
As the hour arrives
And soon, too soon
To bid my love goodbye
I will see you on the other side
Thank you, my Gucci
For one amazing ride.

Premium Member Love you like a Brother

We were canoeing on a sunlit stream
A shadow of a willow, then a golden gleam
We entered a cathedral, white branches made a cover
And I hit you on the shoulder and said I loved you like a brother.

A dragonfly alighted on the bow of the boat
I rested my oars, watched a turtle float
Then you told me you had a past, always on the run
Had to keep a distance, because of what you'd done.

You had a covenant with shame, transparent you could not be
You could be a friend in a shallow way, but not eternity.
I said "I prefer perfection, but if perfection is declined
I've known you since finger-paints and crayons combined.

We were like brothers, and what are brothers for?
Don't cry on my shoulder, I don't need to hear more
Your eyes flickered with hope, though your soul felt unclean.
I gestured at the hills, where the vista views were green,

The river kept on flowing, like memories on the mend
You relaxed, I was there, like a brother and a friend.
I looked above to see a California Condor hover
The moment was calming, I thought he's like a brother.

But when the moment's over, and I'm feeling sober
I'll take that job in Whitehorse, though they say it's a lot colder
Whatever he did, I can't let him drag me down
Brotherhood has limits, and I'm heading out of town.

Marvelous mama moo from Kalamazoo
Puts on her lipstick and a bit of rouge too
Trying to get the attention of Bad Bill the Bull
He rolls his eyes, cannot believe she is after him still

They used to date when they were both in the barn.
He thought he could flirt with her without any harm.
But she took it too hard and she thinks they should be in love
He in no way thinks of her in the ways of candy, hearts or turtle doves.

You should never had been nice to her says the sheep and the pig.
She has had a super crush on you, and we mean really big.
Bad Bill rolled his eyes, he could not believe that after sixty years
This made up make up mama was still after his jokes and jeers.

I leave damp mudprints
there where I met the shore.

The dragonflies' dances,
the goslings scrammed,
and I for now (or 'lo, for once)
exhaled. Edges do that.

A turtle somewhere spied me
not spying a frog; quick to leap.
And splash! My eyes follow my ears.
A biped clown, here at a threshold.
A stronghold of thrushes.
And red-winged blackbirds...
briefly visiting tufts and reeds.

When I go I think it likely
no memory of me will remain
no indication, no story, no song.
But where my callous kissed
the muck.

Invert puddlings, concentric whorls.
A fish somewhere, like I,
determined to visit an edge.
Marks with its 'foot'prints,
lips breaking the tension,
A visit to the start of Sky...
now gone.

We each leave our prints.
We leave each other's
memories,
in time.

Not My Skin

I try day in and day out to escape this hell
Im living a life not mine and nothing you can do can help
You can say “I feel for you, I can only imagine what you're going through,” and well…
Every time I hear that I feel more enclosed in this cell.
Do you know what it's like to feel like a turtle in someone else's shell?
There's no word to describe the things I've felt.
I hurt and the cause is my own fist giving me welts.
How do I save myself from myself?
That's a rhetorical, nothing can; not even wealth
You say things are jokes as they are ripping my skin off my scalp and going straight at my mental health.
I don't want seen, I just want to be able to get by with stealth
But im seen
God cant you just go away with that snarky tone
You look down on me like a king on a throne
After the things that I've shown
Id think you'd have known
That the skins covering my body doesn't even belong on my bones.
Its like im taking skin from the bank and calling it a lone
No matter what i tell myself ill always feel like a drone
Im wires and components put together to create something you can see as your own.
The only person i can relate to is Sisyphus pushing the stone
I hear these people telling me I've grown
But I still see myself as the scared lost boy who couldn't feel comfort in their own home.
There's no escape of this hell, no savior for this earth, no sisyphus for this stone, no hair for this comb, No garden for this gnome, no parts for this drone, no king for this throne.
I am
Alone.

Eleven years ago, it was a glimmering, gleaming, spanking new house
And we were so pleased, as we had designed it, our way, for us.
We immediately eliminated a dining room, preferring to eat in the
Livingroom on the multitude of couches, or recliners, reposing as we eat.

I have noticed so many things about it lately that are
Not spanking new, glimmering or gleaming, but I do not care one whit.
I have outgrown the need to spend hours and hours
Doing something I despise doing – namely housework, vacuuming
And other crazy stuff that is a waste of time as it perpetually needs
Re-doing.

I believe in living every minute of the rest of the time you have
Left doing stuff that is worthwhile, and fun, which explains my art
Studio full of paints, and brushes, and glitter, and canvases always
Sitting, waiting, with big white smiley faces on big white smiley backgrounds.
And my computers, one in my back office, and one in my garage office,
And four bathrooms, for two people. I wish I was kidding, but I am not.

No, it is no longer a glimmering, gleaming spanking house, but we love it.
It lives in the woods, with woodland creatures, and it has flowers galore,
It is a haven to bees, and wasps, and spiders, and snakes, and a boxed turtle too.
It is the only place I ever want to be, it is heaven on earth to us,
Our perpetual go-to-spot and best of all? It is home! My stay-cation palace
In the woods. I cannot imagine heaven being any more suited to my needs.

Best of all? It replenishes me nightly, helping me to eliminate the gloom
Of a sad day, or the memory of a lost child, who does not dare dream or hope anymore.

Premium Member Turtle On the Green Grass

How lovely is this turtle! So peaceful!
His course is well designed by nature's whim
He crawls, like a green creeper, so blissful
He can walk and skulk and easily swim

His course is well designed by nature's whim
He's not sure of his life's next stride or stage
He can walk and skulk and easily swim
He seems calm, content like a saintly sage

He's not sure of his life's next stride or stage
He crawls, like a green creeper, so blissful
He seems calm, content like a saintly sage
How lovely is this turtle! So peaceful!

Premium Member Country Boy!

i'm a country boy,
as country as can be;
i'm barefoot when i go to church,
don't give a hoot 'bout society!

i sleep naked in the back yard,
go skinny dippin' in the lake;
when i use the outhouse,
the ground's gonna quake!

i eat with both hands,
possum, squirrel, an' coon;
cook 'em on an open fire,
an' use my fingers as a spoon!

bouncin' rocks off turtle shells,
sippin' moonshine from a jug;
sweet as a store bought teddy bear,
it's okay to give me a hug!

i love my thermal underwear,
they're red, with a cute lil' flap;
i'll curl up in the chicken coop,
for a long afternoon nap!

i ain't much for fightin'
but i don't take no crap;
if you push me in a corner,
get ready for a scrap!

forget that bottled water,
i'm drinkin' from a well;
next time you're in the country,
stop and visit for a spell!

Upon Espying Aesthetically Pleasing Females

I admit tubby distracted by a modeling
female physique when attempting to write,
an aching agony rips thru this son,
gripping with hard on – tight -
by Dickens constricting sensation,

who orbited the sun LX times
coon sitters himself heterosexual male,
where slumbering testosterone forces unite,
no matter my libido feels
deadened, this despite

the above mentioned
asthma ordinary devoid sexual drive,
when these eyes (brown and myopic) sight
even just a picture
oven an attractive gal fanciful flight

evokes dormant longings
crashing thru concentration
without any invite
sparring dueling animal urge,
I know ain't right

since being married,
and all (witches nothing to celibate)
boot even if aye hapt tubby
dim witted with cerebral blight
prurient predilections, would

nonetheless prevail causing affright,
whereby the photographed lovely lady
dashes out like shuttered image,
though only so few inches in height,
would make a bee line into an

unreachable cubbyhole,
 not totally airtight
just enough breathing room
to await darkening hour of night
than with lightspeed akin to meteorite

off into the farther reaches with a blink quite
invisible this quasi
holographic like pseudo sprite
leaves yours truly in the lurch ignite
ting a supposed sexual propensity gone cold

nay, no can do, cuz
untethered high as a kite
electrifying animal desire forced to bite
the dust, though thankfully concupiscent pang
ordinarily not the least bit aroused, aye attest

nope, not lascivious provocative
Barenaked Ladies can NOT excite
an older fellow, whose adolescent body
seethed with hormonal secretion,
and any pretty young thang did alight

a stick up between still skinny legs,
hence people watching
(particularly gals), a birthright
even migrant and/or
teenage mutant ninja turtle doth delight

tool hook, but NOT touch
most times an effortless fight,
yet every once in a while atavistic
pulsations, asper call
of the wild bobwhite

overrides instagramming, snapchatting,
and twittering uber with such might
even erupting sexless interludes of eunuch
or "FAKE" shining knight

chess moonlighting also as “FAKE” playwright,
hence if perchance a beauty catches me sight
lack of youth in your favor
from my penitent penile plight!

The Turtle With the Carving On Its Back

The morning sun creeps slowly from underneath the grey sky
Dancing merrily with the angels on high
while the trees listen carefully to the Gods will
And the birds converse harmoniously within

I kept walking along the path watching the day as it starts
I stood Faraway from human interaction seeking out natures ambitions
Suddenly I saw an object along the road carrying an awful heavy load
With a deep message carved out on its hard back
It is not a co-incident I can attest to that
It seems as if it is has been on a long journey
and had a message to deliver in a hurry

Further up the path a deer stood in the middle of the road
gazing at me as if it had something important to tell me
This is the third deer that crossed my path this week
abruptly walking out in front of me
I wonder what they want me to know.

I simultaneously contemplate this fact while careful examining
the message on the creatures close-packed back
I took some amazing picture and compare them with similar creature
but this one was very special it bears a message from Emperor

The color and carvings made me wonder
Gold and black with shades of brown
With distinctive images filtering all around
Every carving on its back has some human
and animal elements around each spot
The hands and fingers were clear and eyes
and nose are represented in small dots
with various symbolic answers strapped on its back

It stood quietly hiding its slender head
And pretending as if it was dead
Giving me the chance to scrutinize its back
Three human stood on each side of its shell
guarding some secret door on the upper floor

A woman wearing a long golden dress stands in the middle
with long golden hair and darkened face
its hard to tell if they originate from earth
or they came from space

An headless man with a bird's beak
wearing in a golden dress with black stripe running across his chest
Three women stand on the other side of the shell
attire in a golden dress but a dark shadow conceal their face

All around the turtle shell signs and symbols carved out in line
revealing the secret of our youth and exposing the human truth
Inspect the carving on the turtle's back and you will know all the facts.
