Remember
Israel of three thousand years
expulsed at times
enslaved by the Romans
gassed by Europe
persecuted by Saudi-Arabia
murdered by Iran and Iraq
shackled by Egypt
attacked by Jordan
robbed by Syria
sold out by the UK
bombed by the IRA
slandered with spit by Turkish terrorists
sent to the Siberian gulags in Russia
comrades they are not
evicted from many many lands
Battles house by house
street by street
once friendly neighbors
each calling the other traitor
a bloody war where no side
would retreat
by prophecy they won
Wrestling God
the twelve tribes returned
to the land of the Israelites
to their promised land
from sand they made gardens
from the desert they grew grapes
where terror reigns they
made an oasis
Anti Zionism still slithers
belly dancers selling their deceptions
naked harlots forever spew latent hate
evil men whisper, dead jew, dead jew
sadly, uneducated views saturate
seductively selling their false peace
like a woman's second hand virginity
They only hate, and dream of blood
if only, if only we had another flood
Noah would leave them all at shore
harlots, by any other name are simply
the devils horses
Israel was
Israel is
Israel shall forever be
the Middle East's democracy
and graciously
the custodian of all of us
a religious trinity
Gods chosen
their glorious capital
Jerusalem!

Yeah…Uh…Up and down, up and down…
Life feel like an elevator right now…
Life been like an elevator, goin’ up and down the floors,
Sometimes I’m in the clouds, sometimes I’m layin’ on the floor,
Minor wins, major wars, can’t even tell what I’m fightin’ for,?
Peace of mind been a myth, I don’t even chase it anymore.
Feel calm, then full of anger,
Done good, then turned to danger,
Tryna be kind, but I got that rancor,
Pray for my soul like a lone ranger.
Yeah, one in the chamber, thoughts rearranger,
Holdin’ it in, but my mind’s in danger,
Float or sink, I drop the anchor,
Devil on my shoulder lookin’ like a banker.
Can’t buy love, can’t buy favor,
Paper cut deep — root of all evil, traitor,
See their colors, true behavior,
So I turn to a gladiator.
Up and down like elevators, (yeah)
Heart been broke by traitors, (uh)
World on fire, no savior, (no)
Don’t talk to me ‘bout creators. (nah)
Sometimes I pray for changes,
Sometimes I just want danger,
I been losin’ faith in strangers,
Life been dark, but I’m still major.
It left a crater, I barely felt the pain,
Too many kids fallin’ victim to the game,
Too many haters hidin’ faces in the rain,
Everybody chasin’ fame, nobody chasin’ change.
North, South, both sides of the equator,
Rich or poor, now or later,
Life’s either heavy or it’s paper,
But death come fast, and never wavers.
Wild and tame both fade away,
Species dyin’ off every day,
Mother Nature got dues to pay,
She collect ‘em all in her own way.
Stargazin’, trailblazin’,
Cuttin’ through pain, still razor bladin’,
Don’t know why I’m still waitin’,
For peace I might never be claimin’.
Green beam laser or a scar on my wrist,
Feelin’ like fate won’t let me exist,
Still I persist — can’t quit this twist,
Tryna find hope in the abyss.
Up and down like elevators, (yeah)
Heart been broke by traitors, (uh)
World on fire, no savior, (no)
Don’t talk to me ‘bout creators. (nah)
Sometimes I pray for changes,
Sometimes I just want danger,
I been losin’ faith in strangers,
Life been dark, but I’m still major.
Yeah…Still ridin’ that elevator,
Maybe I’ll find peace later,
Maybe I’ll meet my maker…
Maybe…?
This man born of Zachariah and Elizabeth
who named him John as was told
by Gabriel who stood in presence of God
sent from heaven with a message of gold
Then 30 years later John preached
in the wilderness about the kingdom of God
emphasising the need for people to repent
as he prepared the way for the Lord
Many people came to John in the Jordan
to be baptised confessing their sins
but seeing Jesus he pointed to God's lamb
for his forgiveness came from the king
Jesus summed up John's life well
in John, no one born has been greater
than this humble man sent to forthtell
for he stood faithfully being no traitor
The mind holds a power so fierce it becomes the inner flame that drives the body forward. But sometimes the heart burns in a way that does not destroy — it torments. A fire so relentless, so consuming, that a person feels trapped inside their own chest, as if cursed by the very emotions that once gave them life.
Yet even a suffering heart can feel the opposite of that flame when an angel enters their life — an angel sent by Yahweh Himself. In the beginning, the fire did not consume the man; it simply revealed how deeply he could feel, how silently the inner flame can burn without warning.
The pain he carried did not come from the flame. It came from people unworthy of his kindness — people who received his gentleness and repaid it with neglect, excuses, and betrayal. He prayed for them, even asked others to pray for them, yet they turned their backs on him and hid behind the claim that “God might put us back together” while offering nothing but distance and doubt.
The false woman — the Belle of the East, the traitor to the Servant — will one day cry when her temporary joy turns stale. Her belief in the man collapsed because he refused to bow to her demand for instant gratification. He wanted to build a bridge, but she burned the very materials needed to cross it.
Let those from her past shape her future, for she has chosen to look backward, like the woman who became a pillar of salt — frozen by her own refusal to move forward. She is not the promise God spoke of. She is not the covenant. She is the Belle of the East who revealed herself as a Jezebel in disguise.
The disloyal always smile after betrayal, but their smiles eventually collapse under the weight of their own choices. And when the joy they chased turns stale, when the thrill fades and the truth returns, their laughter will turn to tears.
Only then will they realize they were never the blessing — they were the sandpaper. They scraped, they wounded, they tested, but in doing so, they polished the man they tried to diminish.
He becomes refined. They remain discarded — used, worn, and thrown aside like something meant for a moment, not a destiny.

Sometimes I’m so sad,
Other times I’m just raging mad.
The gal that said she would love me forever
Went and left me for another.
I just hate to say
That I feel like a damn cliché.
She double-crossed me like a low-down traitor.
As much as I would like to amputate her,
I just can’t bring myself to hate her.
(Chorus)
Got too much time to think,
But not enough to drink.
Some sorrows just don’t drown.
Some sorrows just don’t drown.
Some sorrows just don’t drown. (pause)
They just won’t drown.
(Bridge)
I didn’t cheat her, I never beat her, I always treated her kind.
I took her dancing, never quit romancing; was she out of her mind?
Thinking one love’s true
One day could be the end of you.
I smell like stale beer and yesterday’s sweat;
Caught in a whirlpool of regret.
(Repeat Chorus)
They just won't drown!
They just won't drown!
They just won't drown!!!
One more late Friday.
I’ll probably drink-off Saturday.
If sober Sunday, I’ll go see the pastor
To help me get through this disaster.
(Repeat Chorus)
Don’t even try to woo me
I can resist you
My mind is fortified
Reason screams reasons to be careful
Caution goes off in flares
My mind is alert
Aware
I can resist you
Oh, but my body
My body plays traitor...
My eyes adore you….
they take in every detail
of your face
your body
every contour and muscle
every masculine trait of virility
Your lips…my eyes linger on your lips
And make love to them……
My eyes speak surrender
My hands tremble
and give me away
I clasp them together…tight
knuckles white
For in another minute
they would escape and seek sanctuary on your body
Caressing your cheeks, your chin
they would travel down your neck
feeling the protruding strength as you swallow
they would take ecstatic trips across the expanse of your chest
Finally moving around your waist to pull you in
My teeth bite my lips
in an effort to keep my tongue imprisoned
for it longs to be unleashed
to run along the lines of your face
to slide on your lips...wetting them with want
making them part
so that it can dip inside your mouth and play
to lose its way
all over your body
I can resist you
My mind is fighting valiantly
to keep my body in check
Oh, but I feel damp desire spread
in the heat of your presence
As you move closer
Looking down into my eyes
I exhale the pent up emotions
brought on by the ripples of anticipation
longing for a touch
that I want so much
and my body's ablaze
this passion craze
Floods my face
rosy red
I can’t look away
and you smile
a warm slow smile
You smile
knowing the battle of mind over body
is about to end
my body will yield
submit in surrender
because your fierce made me tender
And so with the confidence and grace
of a seasoned soldier
you move in for the kill
agile with thrill
you hand tilts my chin up
and your mouth covers mine
smothering the words of protest
the mind has sent as last minute backup
you hold me up
crushed against your enveloping body
as I collapse into your arms
My mind?
prisoner of war
gagged and bound
empty of thought
ravaged by sensations
As you work your way
to your final victory claim
Knowing as you do
That you
Are
irresistible
to
ME

"The Match"
Time falls like a traitor
it smiles at you through mirrors
you see all faces surrounding you
other than your own
each a voice imprinted in your memories
a part of the Word's words,
remonstrations tumbling
through your voiceless throat,
they respond hitting the walls
leaving hollow hieroglyphs
promises that slip,
some self-righteous Umpire
calls the serve landing out of bounds
and doesn’t hesitate to record a fault;
through the backhand grip
your own thoughts
are ghost written volleys
that skim without hesitation
over the net
bouncing towards
the inexperienced experienced
their hearts,
hands, eyes, and lips
the memories are lost in unplugged sockets
still,
they take they’re hit
you smash it back
full hilt;
you think you are electric
time falls like a traitor
and everyone
in their own mind
one way or another
thinks they’re in the game
a winner,
even loser’s think
they’re winners in the end,
they take their hit;
love-all
just the same
and you are lit.

You pretend I'm Adam
lying "Eve"
My love songs all yours
you believe
Stalked me on Soup
until I went away
I'm hurt by the news
you're back today
Changed your name
a hundred times
But I can spot
your kind of rhymes
Cause most of them
are copies of me
And even my comments
now all can see
So I've got nothing
to lose... to you
Will TPS punish me
if I prove it's true
"Eve TMC"..
you're a thief, you're a liar
Your Soup Mail letter
revealed sick desire
On Poetry Hunter
you take my writes
Stealing my thoughts,
it's not all right
Plagiarism is a crime..
backstabbing "Eve"
I'm exposing you
if you don't leave
~Lyric Man
Note: TPS may suspend me for calling "Eve" out, but she will not push me out of Soup again. She is one of two people who stalked me here and in my personal life. Just yesterday, "Eve TMC", cut and pasted my comments verbatim to one of Silent One's poems, "Shores Of Uncertainty" (both comments on page two). How does anyone steal comments and then post them to the same person? You got lazy "Eve" or you're pure crazy!
I'm a nice guy and wish "Eve" no harm, but I'm going to protect those I love Fiercely! "Eve TMC" may disappear today but she'll be back tomorrow as someone else. She's had five or so names in the month I've been back.
DEAR LORD
I love to please thee, dear lord.
But two worlds in my heart,
Fighting wars…
Daughter of babylon with mini skirt,
Compassed me blinking eye, tattoo on their lower part
Close my inner eye ,less I look at their laps and stumbles,
so I prayed.
I love to be with thee
Lucifer the traitor,finding ways,
Pointing fingers on my soul,
Diverting my attention on needless things,
Closing the eye on the deepest true
Running after Babylonian treasures.
Guide my heart to live alright,
So I prayed..
The Secret (reposted)
“Don’t tell don’t tell.” she begged of me, with pleading in her eyes
And though I knew I really should. I listened to her cries.
We were only twelve-years-old; our lives were much the same
And I swore to keep her secret, like some exciting game.
In the weeks that followed this knowledge gave me fear
Still, her trust in me was total and I held that very dear
My mother sensed my worry and asked if all was well
But the secret that I carried was never mine to tell
So mum took me in her arms, she didn’t shout or scold
She said that I was burdened and the secret must be told
Then, feeling like a traitor.....*
I reported all I knew
And from my quiet whispered words a dreadful conflict grew
The police they were informed and the perpetrator caught
A father went to prison. His poor family was distraught
My once best friend now hated me. I’d shown the world her shame
My words had wrecked her family and to me she handed blame
She grew up hard and bitter and I wonder to this day
When I see her in the shopping mall and she turns her face away
Was I right or was I wrong when our friendship I betrayed?
I’ll never know the answer but I know the price we paid.
