DESIRE OF AGES

God would rather crucify His son than to condemn you to death.
No other story matters so forget all the rest.
This only tells me of Gods love and mercy towards his most precious creation.
Guiding us through us it all in any situation.

He knew what Lucifer would become so He had a plan in place.
The savior, His son, to save us in this place.
Satan the adversary comes not even close to the awesomeness of God.
This is something that humbles me and I gratefully applaud.

Gods plan of redemption is a story so uncomparably unlike any other story.
No man could have thought this up so I give God all the glory.
If you aren’t saved I would seriously seek salvation.
Your judgment will be eternal and it will be damnation.

Don’t be destitute separting yourselves from Jesus.
When God looks at your sin He sees the cross, this is how He see’s us.
So find peace in Christ He will give you rest.
In justification you are redeemed and that’s better than all the rest.

Premium Member Is My Avatar Doing Well

Grandma, I have shown you this many times! Says my grandson Bell.
He is teaching me Fortnite. I am not doing well.
Bell tosses his console down and takes mine. I watch fascinated.
The video game prowess of this kid is probably underrated.

Oh, I am the guy? I ask, surprised because I thought I was Demi not Thor.
My grandson gives me that “look” “Is my avatar doing well?” I implore
We go rapidly from Pleasant Park to Neo Titled. My head is spinning.
By the time we reached Salty Springs the other team was winning?

I am a lot better now, and my grandson comes to see what I will buy.
I get packages he needs for pets, emoji’s, things I can supply.
I am usually Demi, and Bel has grown fond of Thanos or Black Hybrid.
We play with whatever team dares play us until we asleep or fall down dead.

Sweet foods can fling
Urge that now stings

Grief can speak plain
Ailment that strains

Reach for a way
Yield to harsh stay

Dreary this lot
Indulge sad thought

Appeal to form
Bloom in odd norm

Expose the threat
Trust in mindset

Treat each new day
Expect bold sway

Set in sure time
Meet broken rhymes

Express your pain
Live harsh restraint

Love yourself first
Indulge vain thirst

Touch what must be
Use cheer to see

So much lays waste
Note style's sweet haste

Opt mime and quest
Work out your best

Allow time space
Live well your face

Impress your heart
Groom mind with art

Now hurl sweet rhymes
Seed craft's sure time

Feel that sad line
Ask help divine

Truth and trust steer
Expect help here

Enigma

Shadow Sprite in rebellion.
Could you not just be a mystery?
Do you have to also pour salt in the solution?
Vinegar and gaul you have, just for the occasion.
You're like a secret admirer from beyond that longs
to be in the shadow of thought.
Sometimes taking the limelight in the corners,
to be captured and sought.
When you are feeling intimate with slow learner's.
Controlling, you confound. Needy? You surround.
Do you want more. What are your bounds?
Your foundries. Your reasons to tease.
How much of me can I afford to give to
the elusive.
You want your freedom, but will not leave me incluesive.
Maybe you flirt so, because you are fickle or untrue.
I don't understand you. I want to know you.
Let me in. What are you afraid of?
?That I will see the real you??Discover the truth?

The strength of a woman

One day a few years back I met this woman, that I wasn't sure of is she better than me. One thing for sure is we had been raised and lived life's completely opposite. But I began to listen to talk and to laugh with her. As if we new one another all of our life. Friendship without a doubt since that day on. It grew and it grew like we'd known each other our entire lives. We learned a lot mostly shares some very deep stories all of which were true. God had to put you in my path of life because he knew I'd love you. I remember asking you how you woke up every day and smile through it all you told me then , because we have to, The love of your life has passed he told you to ( be sweet ) you told me to suck it up buttercup. As I sit here and watch you fight for your life and giving it all you have shows me how strong you are. I knew that anyway . But I know the strength of a woman that is you. Nap time is over if you're trying to show me something you have that's never give up never think I'm not worthy, but I only thought I was a strong person until I met you. Your strength and support, Dear friend of mine wake up now please I still need you. I love you.

Waiting For Nothing Is An Arduous Task

A confident man I used to be,
I was content and settled but still not free,
some spark I caused set alight to my soul,
as I moved towards a happier goal.

A father, a husband, a soldier and lover,
things now in my past, but not all quite over,
guided by warm smiles and the opening of thighs,
from the young blonde succubus that secured my demise.

I thought her an innocent but she knew what she was doing,
even in bed, it was my mind she was screwing,
pretended to love me and hold me up high,
but I did not fake it, I did not lie.

I need to talk to her still, I must appear weak,
but no matter what method I try she won't speak,
it is not fair as she was my best friend,
now no one can console me, and I want it to end.

We both had a love but now hers is shattered,
and I'm treated like I have never mattered,
Christmas and New Year spend alone in tears,
fetally curled on the floor, shaking, surrounded by beers.

I was such a confident man, and strong and true,
but I just don't know anymore what I should do,
I know dwelling on the past is bad for my health,
but somehow now I don't even know myself.

So I am blank and vacantly hold no expression,
I hurt so much and it's all I took from this lesson,
and I will hurt for ever as I don't know who I am,
but I do know it's her fault, she broke this man.

I still eat and still breathe and I know I could stop it,
but if I did that no one would profit,
so I wait, although hopeless, just in case,
she proves me wrong and shows her true face.

Premium Member The Poet

”He is a Poet”, It was said of him.
And so they sought in proof a poem, made alone for them.
A tome for all the ages, every eye, and every ear.
Words of witness dedicating prose, to those would hear.
So he complied. Rolled up his muscled sleeve of thought
and pounding words like blacksmith sought, to swing them to his side.

For what is poetry but words, like cattle in stampeded herds,
or formal, business-structured, Oh so neat,
every word and every sentence measured to complete.
Why, he could write for days on end, make poetry, or just pretend,
as long as everything would just combine,
to give the folks their simple endless rhyme.
But this is not a poem, as It has no heart.
True poems come, not on demand, but as with art,
they are created by, an inspirations’ spark;
then guided by one's passion to their universal mark.

For what is poetry but prayer, holy in its plea
to set the heart of every person soaring ever free.
These words… these very words he wrote. He wrote for you;
that you would know the beauty in the moments shared, so few.
He could not give more love to you, than you already own;
if he might open all the hearts and souls of angels shone.
He could not add one ounce to all the joy you might allow
within each heartbeat, where we hear, the voice of God somehow.
A voice that whispers to us all, the word we need to grow,
"Love", the only word, a poets’ heart need ever know.

Ponderance On Life

As I thought about life today
I pondered on my past
The roads been full of twists and turns
Yet travels by so fast

Did I follow every dream. I sought
Long enough to know
Some exits that I should have taken
I've passed some time ago

Should I follow where my heart leads me
And what I seek to find
Or settle for the here and now
To soon regret in time

Would a second chance reveal the way
It should have turned out first
Did I miss the signs that I passed by
Their reflection now a curse

Faster with each passing day
Lifes clock goes round and round
As age goes up each passing hour
My miles keep counting down

Do I hit the brakes to slow me down
Get off and look around
I thank the Lord for my journey here
Through sometimes puddled ground

Can I stop to smell the coffee
Before it spills on my lifes lap
And realize all roads lead to love
Ourselves the only trap

So when in time I'm out of gas
My journey near its end
Let the mirror show, what I still know
I'd do it all again

Love Hater

To some, love is everything
To me it’s a 4 letter word
That symbolizes deception
Whenever it is heard
Weaponized against me
To act against my will
Even when you showed me different
I believed it still
When you told me that you loved me
I thought it to be true
But the way that you would treat me
That's not what love would do
I adjusted the lens on my seeing glass
Made aware of how I was did
I waged a war against love
That I’ve been fighting ever since
Ever since the battle begun
Things happened that can’t be undone
At times I put my guard down
When I think that war was won
The succubus comes back around
Bullet chambered in her gun
Barely missed her mark the last time
When she thought she had her one
Tempting as it is
Smiles on the faces of hers and his
What it was or what it is
Experience tells me isn’t it
It’s an act when you’re in public
Masking all the homely tears
I done seen it all before
Pickett fence marble floors
Those are only small rewards
For ducking dodging all the swords
You hate what you come to love
When it doesn’t reciprocate
You despise it and all it does
Cause how does one relate
I know the parasitic nature
A host would come to hate
When you realize your depletion
Your works lack of completion
Still feel hungry after eating
Is when you can see right through the demon
You can take it back to EDEN
I’m a hater of that kind of love
I rebuke that kind of treatment

Inheritance

“Inheritance”

Where do I go?

To meet you
outside of
complicit
words...

I dream of
bigger things
than numbers
and sharp talons

bells jangling
ankles tempted
by better things
running

flight of the fleeing
hooded
tethered
birds

Freedom,
Words.

Just
Freedom words.

Courts of law
and felons;
I remember
the night you arrived.

Rain -

and You,
on my shoulder;
all alone,
we were pure -

we were innocence,

Just...
You and I.

I sang you a song
from my heart
out loud.
Poems?

Poems,
they were never thought of.

In my dream
I am you
behind your
windows

Not so long ago.
21 goes so fast
I wish
the next few years

to go so slow,
but they will not.

Magic comes
in for you,
I laid the path
congenital

Believe always,
Love arrives in you,
when you dream
in the dreams

of another's Wake.

It was transfused
from my heart
to you at birth,
tenfold;

This is fate.

Seeker,
You are stronger
than you know
inside you,
stronger than another

inside you -
your inheritance,

more than money is worth -
a hidden treasure;
inherited, there lies waiting,
a silent courage,

Heart of Gold

Once was a mother
a story to unfold

“This is what I believe:

That I am I.

That my Soul,
is a dark forest.

That my known self will never be more
than a little clearing in the forest.
That gods, strange gods,
come forth from the forest
into the clearing of my known self,
and then go back.
That I must have the courage
to let them come and go.
That I will never let mankind
put anything over me,
but that I will try always
to recognize and submit
to the gods in me
and the gods
in other men and women.

There is my creed.”
