oh my sweet little angel, i saw you crying
i can see those tears won't stop falling
i know, i'm the shadow of the night
i'll cast a torch, even though i'll lose this life
oh sweet little angel, the night won't be forever
the sun would cast me out, but its never over
just wait till the day ends
i will always be a friend
try to be awake the whole night
i'll wipe all those tears in sight
but if you don't want to see me
just sleep and dream, and just let it be
oh sweet little angel, i can hear you weeping
i can feel those tears, even though its not falling
i may not know why, that created those tears
but let it not into you, it'll just give you fears
try to breathe and sigh
here are the answers, don't ask why
try to feel and be real
here is your world without ordeal
oh my sweet little angel, i want to hold you tight
but i can't, i'm just a shadow of the night
one day you'll learn to forget me
i've got no reason to hold you here till eternity
oh my sweet little angel, i want to see you smile
when the night falls, i know its just for a while
but still i'll try to make you win the fight
because i'm only just a shadow of the night
The Other Side of the Moon
Odin Roark
Pink
Oh Pink
Such a reality
Yes
I’ll breathe in the air
Won’t be afraid to care
So much to inhale
Black
Murky
Clear
Translucent
All
All
Rolling strings
Brushes caressing the heads
Anonymous voices
Vibratory echoes
Guitar vibes never ending
All there
Our transport
To the other side
Never stop the music
Infuse the clear air
Giving plain air guts
Love
Insight
Your vibes
My vibes
C’mon
Doesn’t get any better
Those voices in the distance
Wanting so much
Just to be heard
Forever
Lather the strap
Shave the excess
Render the recess bells glorious
We’re out on your playground
Gilmour and Waters
Even on your own
Genius knows immortality
Still so sublime
Strings ever present
Never the echo will fade
Never the voices of old
Young in the past
It’s all the same
Just passion in words
And sound
Ageless
Listen…
Only in the minds of the unconscious
Will their sound fade…
Love’s language forever an enigma
As an adult to another adult;
Does one such as an adult;
Listens to us;
If I tell you to be quiet there’s no power, no honest reply nor applying request;
And yet if you’re a child;
And I tell you “NO” you sequel, fuss maybe cry;
And yet you obey you subside;
The power of “NO” when I speak it;
Depends on the matter of speaking;
If I “NO” and you comply…
It just might save your life;
Why? “you ask How and Why;
a negative used to express dissent,
NO!
denial, or refusal, as in ...
it can’t be done I have the power within, my mind and on my tongue;
It can be done. .... all talk (and no action);
All with satisfaction;
I have power overall;
all work and no play; by no means;
I have all power when I say so;
close but no cigar, all power I have when I say…
“NO”

The gravity of the wave of deceit has pulled political integrity
To its lowest ebb and flow, smothering morality with quagmires
Of electorial power abuse and sarcastic expositions of vanity.
Republic--Democratic--ideas, once held in high esteem
Have become veiled, vacuous words wallowing in party mud;
And our home--country has fallen into moral bankruptcy. But
We must refuse to accept that the vault of resolution is empty!
As with Noah, the turbulent times treacherously trot trust's road,
Inundated with pompous potholes of indignant, twittered "isms".
The Star Spangled Banner is a distant echo and America The Beautiful
Has been recalled. Her amber waves frothing on the shores of deceit.
How long will we willfully play dice with the fate of a drowning nation?
How long must we allow "...crippling fear...like a nagging hound of hell...
Pursue our every footstep..." with shattering winds of depression?
Wow.....She is coming!!
We can smell her fragrance encompassed in the air.
Garden and meadows looks appealing with her flair.
Greenery seems well dressed on the lawn.
Bird chirps are soothing for the ears at dawn.
Visualising colourful butterflies everywhere are enthralling.
Twittering birds on tree twigs are always exploring.
During your arrival we would lavishly spend money,
By going worldwide on an aesthetic journey.
You are the one who triggers romance in our mind.
Hence we all cherish you being love blind.
So tell us ..Dear spring,
Why do you always bloom only after the fall?
Attempt to come at any moment coz your loved by all.
Elderly and young people yearn to gaze at you whenever they lack peace.
So agree for once and we will hire you for lease.

What the future holds for us, no one knows for sure
Hopefully, very shortly, headlines will read for cancer we have a cure
The human race is like a giant jigsaw puzzle, with each of us being one piece
To achieve success we all need to work harder, a chance for a better world will surely increase
Everything we have in life is from the efforts of so many people bonding together
Why is it that we elect politicians who can't do this whatsoever
I think a lot of them have egos that are so big that they won't even give it a try
What kind of profession pays this well, where nothing seems to get done, it makes you want to cry
If you hired someone to clean your windows and they were still dirty after they left, what would you do
Certainly, you would never have them back,and you would hire a new crew
Compromise is something that seems to have completely disappeared
Politicians, please stop the name-calling and bickering so that we may be able to stand up and cheer
Let us take the time to live
To be free, my love
With no plans and no routine
We can re-imagine our life
Come to me, I’m here
All that’s missing is you
Nothing is impossible, everything is allowed
Come over here, listen to the murmured words
On the other side of the month of May
They make us the promise
That everything will fade one day
Come to me, I’m here
All that’s missing is you
Nothing is impossible, everything is allowed
Let us take the time to live
To be free, my love
With no plans and no routine
We can re-imagine our life

When cruelty becomes a badge of honor
empathy transforms into an act of defiance
while the evildoers are celebrated!
The resonance of your words
Your words echo as a sharp blade
revealing the possum
shameful crawl
dragging through sacred remnants
they cut through the fragile chambers
of my vulnerable existence.
A rustle of grass
in the Cimmerian pre-dawn.
Watching you drown in your denial
Now, a landscape of sorrow
once vibrant with the hues of joy
has faded into mere shadows
Shades of happiness did thrive
I stand frozen, bleary-eyed
trying to bear sense of
eerie glow of empty eyes
I am a witness to the casualty
of an all-night bender
Your gaze, a weapon
cold and unyielding
left my spirit in ruins
forever haunted
by the ghost of what once was
The dreams you stole
That left me stranded
broken in body and soul
Amidst the unfolding horrors —
border violence, displacements,
police brutality, genocidal oppression —
Remember this: Cruelty is the point
Cruelty is not humorous nor edgy
Cruelty is not justifiable
Cruelty corrodes the sense of self
Cruelty for cruelty's sake
a repulsive and vile toxic waste
What started as casual banter
quickly turned into a serious dialogue
banter quickly grew into a colloquy.
I walk a path of despair
a subdued plea
where cruelty reigns
Some find joy in the suffering of others—
the essence of schadenfreude
Do we embody barbarism
when we think
we have the right to be cruel
And ignore the agreements we made?
The casualties were unintended
Yearning for a healing touch
for the grace to set me free
Yet the scars remain
a stark reminder
of the cruelty
that has etched its haunting mark.
Your malice roars like a storm
within my spirit,
leaving me shattered
and utterly out of control
I am a victim
The cost of your design
and now I seek peace
In my life
Humans possess the capacity
for empathy and reason,
yet systems of violence.
They are crafted to dominate
subjugate
dehumanize and oppress
Cruelty is always at the core
It feels as if we are consumed
by cruelty in our thoughts
defending the indefensible.
Mark Clarke was the gentlest man of Denmark
Yet considered by all a most unlikely patriarch
He was proud being Noah’s apprentice on the ark
Mark was in charge of ensuring all the animals did embark
Two by two in harmony, elephant, giraffe, tiger, and aardvark
Shared the gameplan with the many types of whale and shark
Ensured every bird was onboard, especially the skylark
Mark’s wondrous inventory was classified by icon and footmark
And sometimes in the margin he would jot a special remark
Hoping no one would notice he found neither unicorn nor snark
For weeks torrential rains made the sky darkest dark
They prayed for the rainbow, that long-awaited coloured arc
When the rains finally subsided they looked for the closest park
Everyone had cabin fever and were ecstatic to disembark
Rowdiness of meow, oink, purr, caw, growl, snarl and bark
Plans were soon ongoing to celebrate with a feisty spark
Evaluating the damage up and down and all around Hark!
Mark said Yeah, that’s gonna leave quite a watermark

sometimes I feel filthy and dirty
Yeah! I must remember I am embellished in His glory
Yes even I even I a prodigal son product of The Son not solar
Oh so that I am Elohim's
My dirt sins and shame been nailed to the cross
Now I'm clean chosen and favored forging longer dirty nor loss
Ahh! the Prodigal Son fully graced and forgiven
I know where I'm at
And I know where I've been
I am birth with a new horizon
I am chosen I am golden
I'm a child of a living King
I'm Father's son and I am a Holy One
My dirt sins and shame seenailed to the cross now I'm clean chosen favored forgiven no longer dirty nor lost
Was spiritually filthy and dirty but my Jesus came and cleansed me
All mine dirt sins and shame nailed to the cross
Now I'm eternally free unbound and not lost
Hallelujah creasing Grace Glory on power to you
Oh! righteous one our Holy God Glory Glory Hallelujah
