Premium Member Imagination's Tools

If my heart could be unveiled
In etchings on a canvas sky,
I would have to barter with the gods
for inks richly dyed,
ground saffron and vermilion, citrine and verdigris
could scarcely start to paint nuances of an exotic gypsy soul.
Could they read warm tones or cold,
looking in the heart's clear glass,
and formulate fresh colors to reveal emotion's tides;
create a new prism to divide the beaming spirit-spectrum light
and pierce the secret depths of me?
God gifts of light and power,
must formulate new tools to awaken mysteries,
break down barriers of mind,
disclosing a story line speaking only heart to heart
unwinding from a tantalizing spool.

Premium Member fragrance of fading roses

My soul
    is in purgatory,
settling in fading tunes
  of suppressed silence,
swerving perpetually
amongst
   smoky quartz silhouettes;
swiveling through
the
 dimmed dungeon
to unraveling shadows
of yesterday’s destruction,
 moving in s l o w motion~
rejoicing invisible
  rainbow glows
in limitless devotion,
fugitively
  resenting the shifting
     season of faith~
I question the
treacherous torrents,
through
   unorchestrated symphonies…
where do the tides of jealousy
crash and hide to grieve,
over untouched waves,
  when it has washed
away compelling
wishes
   lost in perfect storms?

For, sometimes,
when trembling
skies bleed black pearls,
upon these aching lungs,
I think of every
  nameless ghost
that emanates
familiar fragrances:
convincing
  my naive mind,
there’s no evil
  even in darkness.
Although I’ve
    seen tints of
turning leaves conversing
with tantalizing tears,
whilst this volcanic
  heart is ransacked
and ruined,
d a n c i n g away from fears,
  forging meaningless scribes,
in fragmented fortunes,
left as debris along the
forgotten fields of
rambling roses drenched
   in remorseful rain.

And I stand in the
eye of cataclysmic cyclones~
  exhaling the exhaustion,
as the wolf moon calls me,
above million
   mourning mountains
      in musical misery.

Yet, when cosmic curtains
sequinned with
   scarlet sapphires
 of midnight skies
drizzle drops
  of hibiscus heaven onto the
 pages of my poetic haven,
I sketch stars in the shape
        of magical w i n g s..
across cursed horizons,
to soothe my
   troubled thoughts:
as it’s all in my head,
the
   demonic devils dressed
in dragonfly
     dust to deceive me,
unaware of how
I’ve been
   blindfolded by
the brutal lies
   I’ve told myself
in alienated expressions,
that the normal
    can never neutralize.

Premium Member Springtime Fantasies

Butterflies spread kisses under the sun
To tantalizing spring blossoms in bloom
Birds fluttering about, nest making has begun
As steamy dew drops emit fresh perfume

A cardinal is dancing, singing his mating call
As vibrant hummingbirds magically appear again
Leaves start looking lush on trees, no longer pall
Nature is looking beautiful and feeling Zen

Bees are busy pollinating day into night
As many creatures emerge from winter's sleep
Bats are flying, chasing bugs in the twilight
Thunder and lightning spread sounds loud and deep

As nature starts to feel warm, peaceful and serene
Springtime fantasies, until nature's white turns to green

Premium Member A Time For Us

The splendorous firmament of my fervent heart
twinkled with the tinsels of the argentine night,
where your glamour gleamed with tantalizing tinge,
suffused with the sequins of the mesmeric moon.

I was entranced by the amorous touch so tempting
of the captivating aura of your intangible charisma,
but you slithered away out of my spellbound sight,
like a clump of autumn cloud across my dream sky.

In the verdant vale vibrant with the rhythm of my heart,
your footprints disappeared in my pining forlorn plateau
beyond the fading turquoise trail of lingering longing,
as I wandered chasing the mystique mirage going nowhere.

From the ebony edge of the dense night of despair,
storm clouds surged with thunders of tearing strife,
splintered my sky once the yearning epitome of adoration,
the flakes of dream slid away dispersed in the debris.

Abandoned at the desolate crypt of the lonely night
I saw you become a shining star in my delusion sky,
sparkled for an enchanting while, disappeared forever.
I felt despondent I didn’t dream enough of a time for us.

Interesting,
      was the man staring
at the painting with such enthrallment.
I went and stood beside him, curious,
he was attractive and very appealing,
and when he looked at me- I gave him my
     best come-hither look.
oh, his voice was captivating . . .
I wanted to say something interesting,
something very thought-provoking,
to entrap him in my allurement,
     but I just said hello,
I was riveted to him- intrigued.
Interesting,
     he smiled, amused
then said, the painting was spellbinding.
Oh, so charming and fascinating, he was,
I tried to appear beguiling-
hoping he would take note of my beauty.
     He invited me for café,
          we had charisma, for sure,
our conversation was absorbing-
He was so interesting and engrossing,
and I was compelled to touch his hand . . .
Oh, when did I become a seducer?
     The thirst, lust and desire,
         was tantalizing and tempting-
Interesting.

Premium Member Dream Times

In the world of dreams
Always moving forward like
the relentless waves pounding
upon an ocean shore
Deep into the realms of sub-conscience
Where matter defines who and what we are
The essence of our existence
Leading us to a pathway
between our present, past and future
Depths as deep as the oceans secrets
Drawing us towards the known and unknown
Savoring, tasting, tantalizing our thoughts
Focusing on reality versus imagination
Leading us to pathways, never discovered
which can dazzle, delight and direct our progression
Can play and tune the imagination
Taking us on exquisite journeys.

Premium Member No Ideas Makes Me Free Type

I start out with no ideas at all. Then I begin to free type.
I type words that rhyme – bubble, double, trouble, he, me, knee.
The trick is to keep adding words even if they make no sense.
Then I envision Trixie, my muse. She is dancing, prancing, and lancing.

Lancing a banana, lancing a bell, lancing her way to the bowels of hell.
She is a minx who is always doing something to me – cutting off my head,
forcing me to walk the plank, rolling me into wet sticky syrup.
I imagine my head sticking out its tongue at her, and being kicked.

If the “what if Trixie ……..” stops working, I get out a book about animals.
Or a book about trees, stars, ESP, planets, dinosaurs, pirates, or something else.
It matters not what the book is about, only that it is interesting to me.
I choose words I like and I type them up – meiosis, mytosis, planetary, astral.

If nothing pops up, I put a dictionary or a Thesaurus on my lap.
I begin thumbing through it, choosing the most tantalizing words.
Pantywaist, masticate, which leads me to plasticate, bastifate, chastilate,
I love making up my own words the very most actually.

Sometimes I am rhyming, other times I just throw down a scenario
That did not actually happen but almost happened.
Because reality is fun, but “creality” is better.
The trick is to type and keep typing, not stopping. Edit later.

Premium Member Seems Like Yesterday Mystic

I walked in the winter wilderness
across the wasteland of despair,
reached the sunshine shore far,
washed by the warm sapphire sea,
discovered the alluring niche
I’d been yearning to reach for so long.
That’s when I sensed the lilt of love.

Unveiled from the shroud of obscurity,
I followed the tantalizing silver track,
the mesmeric moon made on the satin sky,
until the dreamy dawn ascended
from the sunburst hued horizon,
painted the opalescent dew drops
shining on the malachite meadow of my mind.
That’s where I found the fervent love
sparkle with the gleam of heavenly ecstasy.

Our walk together in the gilded garden path
ended at the edge of the teeming twilight zone.
Its surging spectrum made in silence
the ardent rhythm of my serenading heart.
The melody resonated in my entranced essence
with the cadence of enthralled emotion.
That’s when I felt the pulse of lingering love,
endured in the eternity with sanguine essence.

You cascaded like an ebullient stream
through the valley of my beguiled time,
carried my dreams dancing through
the dale of blooming longing
under the radiant sparkling sky,
to the pristine bay of bliss
where I perceived the purity of passion
that never got tarnished.

My memory remembers the time long gone
when I was suffused with the aura of love
that now seems like yesterday.

Premium Member Shouts of Silence

Destined for the dew drenched dawn,
Awaiting alabaster aura, amazing asters,
In every color, crimson and copper, cerulean
Bold, blazing beauties, bringing brilliance,
Stardust silence, soothing sounds, stillness
Come to life on the crazy clasp of craftiness,
Trembling truths, tugging on tomorrow…

Meant for milky way music, melodies, the muse,
Awakening attentions, alive with the awareness,
Today is not the temptation of tantalizing tones,
Burdened by breathless, blistering balances,
Weights warming the wise and wishing wishes,
Insights into inspirations, inviting inklings,
Creativity, crisply clothed in colors of connection,
Flavors filled with feelings, finding forever….

Fated to feel like the focus is on fresh finds,
Dated dreams, destroying the darkness,
Lifting the life so that listening to love lasts,
Beyond the brilliance of bright bouquets,
Into invitations for imagination and intimacy,
Thrilling tired tones from totally losing,
Exhilarating, exciting, enthralling easy lights,
Shadowed by serenity, splashes of seas, sentiments…

Miracles and wonders, wistfully playing wisdoms,
Arriving amid the summer’s ashen dusk,
Captivating creation, casting shadows across colors,
Breathtaking blues who bask in lasting lavenders,
Prayers praising, psalms partaking of promises,
Given to the God loving, glorified givers…

Together, we can find tomorrow and all its tides,
Abiding in amazing suggestions of solace, silent sounds.
