Springtime Fantasies
Butterflies spread kisses under the sun
To tantalizing spring blossoms in bloom
Birds fluttering about, nest making has begun
As steamy dew drops emit fresh perfume
A cardinal is dancing, singing his mating call
As vibrant hummingbirds magically appear again
Leaves start looking lush on trees, no longer pall
Nature is looking beautiful and feeling Zen
Bees are busy pollinating day into night
As many creatures emerge from winter's sleep
Bats are flying, chasing bugs in the twilight
Thunder and lightning spread sounds loud and deep
As nature starts to feel warm, peaceful and serene
Springtime fantasies, until nature's white turns to green
