Guts over fear

From the trenches of the dark underground into the sewers of the slumworld, a place terrified with the pain of fear, gripped from their minds unto their souls, they are afraid of the outside world, afraid that death could be their bane at least there was a sorcerer to tell Merlin what Arthur's bane would look like, I lived among these people, the only survivor of my family who were captured and butchered like pieces of meat. For me, the attitude of fear was untraceable in my soul like pieces of heroine, vengeance was the objective I seeked for like the legend of the seeker I sought my own path, my own journey to the outside world to avenge my family but the spirit of assistance was crying out to me like the voices of the hummingbird echoing across the dark forest. In our world, almost everyonelacked the determination and courage to stand up for one another, fear had tortured them for so long, a leader was missing but now found like the prodigal son because I availed myself. I supplied to them the spirit of bravery and confidence, everyone would gather to lend me their listening ears and watch me, both old and young, for a long time we lived in fear, but the time to stand together like the walls of Jericho had arrived. The spirit of guts over fear was very essential at that moment, if only Julio Caesar was still alive, I would hsve learnt more from him, we were seen by the outside world as aliens but that narrative was about to change, the tides of the tsunami were about to turn like a compass, a new wave of strong blood run through our veins like a fountain, we were on a mission, like soldiers we marched like army worms into the outside world seeking redemption of our identity, at least the idea of the silo was wrong because there was life outside, it was a different atmosphere compared to the environment in our world. The citizens were afraid of us, we had worn masks due to our fear then, but no more they were off our faces like the unveiling of a secret, the people saw us for who we were, we scarred but that was the representation of our people, a war could have ensued, my vengeance would be successful, but I remembered what my late father told me, "Every human being, be it tribe, language, ethnicity are all one and so we united with the people, after all were all made from the same creator.

Before the Gates of Alahsar - Version - 2 - 28

The front rank hold stong,
from where does come the strength?
pushing forward, one step, another,
Keep pushing you red.
Swords, spears, axes, striking home,
black with enemy blood,
All weapons must be fed,
let Evil blood flow.
Yet blood shall still flow on both sides,
the horror of battle fulfilled,
the ranks of light and dark, hard pressed,
sweat mingles with blood.
The Arlaghs slowly moving back,
still, they are not done,
now a pivotal part of the battle,
the red cannot give ground.

There are still archers behind the main foot,
see how they ply their death,
they still fire their death into the air,
arrows striking home with deadly accuracy.
Carts now rolled from Alahsar,
they kept the archers supplied with death,
yet these supplies were not limitless,
never waste a shot.
Yet still, the enemy numbers hold,
do the dead rise upon the field?
What black magic is this?
the numbers did not decrease.
Look at the number of enemies fallen,
no one can see them rise,
their numbers still never seem to fail,
and a cold touch of fear can pierce the heart.

Men of Alahsar,
what power of spirit leads you on?
What song of power does grip your heart?
it is the song of man's glory.
This song has no end,
it is glories song of grace,
yet everything can have an end,
an end that brings forth bloody death.
Could this be the end of the song?
The song of golden Alahsar,
the time for warriors to fall on their swords,
the end of all that is joy.
These men shall have it not,
they shall fight on even though strength starts to fade.
strike home you men of honour,
fight on for all you love.

Onward, onward, let the spirit fire their souls,
one cannot think of the cost of defeat,
men, Arlaghs, spiders and wolves, all sing the song of death,
each fighting for the precious gift of life.
Battle does ever come with blood and pain,
The repugnant smell assails the nostrils,
oh, glory, how terrible is your song,
the living dread of all who love life.
Blood now freely mingling with the Earth,
the green dies before our eyes,
black, red, and dying green, now part of the song,
thunder has exploded on Badicha.
The battle rages on and on,
vacant eyes look to the skies,
glory's dream to live or fall,
the fulcrum falls one way or the other.

Dear Santa:

Our baby Troll Lilly started a discussion, last night, just to help… you know.
So Santa, I hope you don’t mind some advice from our dear family of Trolls.
Lilly had a question on a problem, about your ride, on your famous route.
She wanted to ask you, what happens when the reindeer get really pooped out?

Yes, she needs to know, what on earth you might do… so to her, you’d get thru?
I tried to assure her that you’d be all right, but she didn’t believe, that was true!
She began crying buckets of tears, so we told her just what we’d do to help you.
The Trolls also piped in, with great ideas to help, so she’d stop all the boo hoo’s.

They decided, their dragons would do, in case of a blizzard, and for extra warmth.
(But they’re too heavy to land on roofs; I cried for a week with mine, it’s the truth.)
Geese would be great in some areas, no doubt! But watch out where lakes are about.
Hunters may be present; Christmas goose is yummy when family gatherings sprout.

Most birds are strong and sturdy in flight, but watch out when full night comes.
They sleep in trees, so you’ll spend the rest of the night, hanging above the ground.
Bears are really sturdy, with great power in every move they ever decide to take.
But I doubt you could wake them in winter, without a truly massive earthquake.

Unicorns would be impressive, but my Trolls say that… they aren’t really real.
I say that they are, but you’d have to be on guard, people want their magic, to steal.
Planes would be impressive, but in a yard… they are really hard… to try to land.
Helicopters are so cool, but you’d be buried in the blowing snow, where you stand.

Dogs are good for mushing, but you might need a smaller sled to stand behind.
But, a few Trolls are perfect, with unswerving stamina, and strength well defined.
Another could help tote toys, sitting behind you and Lilly, who’d be great, by your side.
These ideas cheered her up a lot, she was even laughing, and no more did she cry.

But if you use the reindeer, remember we could be, if needed, quickly by your side.
Have a Merry Christmas, and Santa; please give Lilly a Christmas wish ride.
And you can’t go wrong with reindeer, Lilly, and a few extra Trolls supplied.

Yours truly, From The Eastman’s and their Trolls

It's only through Jesus that we can come to that wonderful place
So filled of love, and peace and supplied of eternal grace
It's only through Jesus that we can come to His Father someday
The Bible makes it so plain and clear and there's no other way

God is the sovereign Author of everything upon the Universe, the sea and earth,
He's written it all and designed it all with His own Almighty Hands
God is the Master Painter of everything you see all over the sea and every land
It's only through Jesus, the Perfect Lamb, that we can have salvation for eternity His love is so Grand

It's only through Jesus, that you can have the precious treasure of "new birth" and be "Born Again" spiritually
Just then you can understand and see the big picture, and discover, why so many things really make sense
The importance of God's plan and how much He really loves us all
Nothing happens by accident,He already had a plan for you and me, His love is profoundly immense

Praise be the Name of our Mighty God, because He's in control of everything you can and may not see
It's only through Jesus that we can have life abundantly and eternally, call Jesus! and then you'll see.

Tap in to the truth - Scripture reading: John 3:16

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON,THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. -JOHN 3:16

IN GOD I TRUST!

My very favorite Psalm in the Holy Bible..Psalm 23.

Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Amen!

There’s an old village green where a marquee was seen
I don’t do ‘Bah humbug’, don’t want to be mean
A little fake snow ain’t a Christmassy scene
But the reindeer and Santa Claus might well have been

But two little kittens and one manic pup
Made those arrangements all go belly up
Nothing was planned, you should understand
It’s simply that sometimes things get out of hand

You see, Rum n Raisin snuck out through their flap
They ran to the green to give Santa a clap
Walnut, their young canine friend gave a yelp
Nipped out through the back door and followed to help

He got to the Green where a red nosed reindeer
Had cornered his friends and they cowered in fear
Walnut snuck up and said, “Get out of here,
Or maybe I’ll show you the meaning of fear.”

Raisin said, “Walnut, just look at his nose
It’s big and it’s red and just see how it glows
I’ve seen a reindeer with a nose just the same
He’s on Christmas cards… and Rudolph’s his name.”

The reindeer said, “Don’t come here giving me grief.”
But when Walnut grinned he clapped eyes on his teeth
Rudolph said, “I cannot handle much pain.”
Then flew to the skies and was not seen again

So when Santa came he was totally mad
“One of you did something totally bad.
I need a new reindeer this minute,” he said.
And then stuck two reindeer horns on Walnut’s head

Raisin cried, “He’s just a pooch, can’t you see?
He won’t bring your presents to John Doe or me
Not to the next town nor over the sea.”
And Santa said, “Tough, cos he made Rudolph flee.”

Rum advised Santa, “Today’s Christmas Eve,
And for all I know, your real name is Steve
Your Santa Claus suit is a little white lie
But I’d like to know how that reindeer could fly.”

Santa said, “This Christmas grotto is fake
But I am quite real, so please give me a break
Your Walnut must stand in to help pull my sleigh
But you have a choice: Do you come - do you stay?”

Walnut stood there in his new antlered head
He looked rather silly but, even so, said,
“You’ve got lots of reindeer and all of them fly
I can’t comprehend what you might want with I.”

Santa said, “Reindeer teams don’t fly by day
Rudolph’s bright, shiny nose would light the way
Walnut said, “You know no dog’s hooter glows?”
So Santa supplied him an L.E.D. nose.

============================

I sat one evening in the park
upon a bench I thought my own
but as the dusk got down to dark,
I realized I was not alone

I hadn't seen from where he'd come
or got a strong look at his face
but he was there, green as a plumb
where had so long been empty space

He beamed a right polite 'Good day!'
but when I made to shake his hand,
he seemed from sight to fade away
like seaside foam into the sand

Then, as I stared in disbelief
down at the empty wooden seat,
his silhouette in bas-relief
appeared again, from head to feet!

I found this process very strange
but he explained as best he could,
he hadn't left, he'd only changed
his coloring to match the wood

We chatted when my wits returned,
his pattern shifting now and then.
He was a reptile, soon I learned
and called himself 'Cha-me-le-on'

As topics changed, I noticed that
his coloration changed in kind
and I could tell, throughout our chat,
exactly what was on his mind

Now, poker is my favorite sport,
I rake in fortunes with the card,
in part, because those of his sort
make taking babies candy hard

At that, I left but told my name
and address and the time of day
that I was next to hold a game,
inviting him to come and play

Game day arrived and he was there
but came in late to join the fun
and though he dived into his chair,
the show already had begun

I poured a scotch and dealt him in,
explaining how a hand was played,
then sat where I could watch his skin
and witness any change it made

Then he allowed us all to see,
a wealth bound tightly in a wad
that, awed, I vowed eventually,
would come round to myself, by God!

A patsy if there'd ever been,
I got him taught as best I could
but plotting, thought, "If this is sin,
then please, don't ask me to be good!"

In my delight, I failed to spot,
until the night progressed a pace,
my guest caught every other pot
with not one hint wrought on his face

and as he smiled, I realized
that though my friend no clue had shown,
I'd bet you twenty mint that I'd
supplied him plenty of my own!

Thus, Lizards Poker isn't fun
and you must hold your empty seats
if you meet old Cha-me-le-on...
He's just cold-blooded, plus - he CHEATS!

Premium Member My How Time Flies

Since the elders often proclaim, my how time flies,
You then naturally look up into the skies.
To study the heavens for at least one small sign,
From the horizon up to the tallest tree line.

Then suddenly, a flock of birds flitters about,
So you believe that you might have time figured out.
But when the old people mentioned, my how time flies,
They didn’t bring up birds; so is time in disguise?

As a carnival balloon, yes that’s it, you say,
Like the vanishing kind on a bright summer day.
But losing your own, is one of life’s biggest fears,
Since you don’t want to waste any time crying tears.

It’s possible that time is commuting by plane,
Which is surely the fastest speed time could attain.
But what good can that be when the planes out of sight,
Unless it quickly returns from its roundtrip flight?

Then is waiting around to see time such a waste,
When each day there are many affairs to be faced?
Then out of the blue a helicopter is seen,
And you reflect, maybe time is on that machine.

But as soon as a copter is here it’s gone by,
After noisily chopping the beautiful sky.
Although it’s very unlikely time takes that ride,
Unless it cannot hear, or ear plugs are supplied.

Wait a minute, I got it, time surfs over clouds;
If I could do the same all my friends would be proud.
And occasionally time would appear as rain,
But then an excess amount would go down the drain.

Then could time be a portion of air all the time,
To be breathed in, or to give life to a wind chime?
Though, is that really flying like old people claim?
It seems all my guesses are exactly the same.

Well, after a long life of thinking and trying,
To figure out the ways that time could be flying,
In heaven, by feather, or motor, as vapor,
Yet, not one of those ways can be proved on paper.

Until recently, when I looked in the past,
The answers were there for those time questions asked.
That time really flies, though it takes time to see,
That a lifetime of living, is the real key.

And now I tell the young, that time truly flies,
But don’t bother looking up into the skies.
Time earns its wings every day, inside the mind,
And can only be seen, when looking behind!

Premium Member LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GRACE ENRICHER

November 15 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Corinthians 8-9

Key Verse – 2Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY GRACE ENRICHER

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great trial of affliction
Thank You for giving me hope along Your everlasting redemption
Midst Your power in answering my prayer and supplication---
Now, I’m supplied with Your abounding provision.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great need of faith’s diligence
Thank You for forgiving me in being tempted to fall into work’s negligence
Midst Your wisdom that advises my heart to perform ready obedience---
Now, I’m led to practice willingness-expedience.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great sorrow with burden
Thank You for cheering me, through trouble-ridden
Midst Your fellowship that lifts my spirit when gloom’s blow is sudden---
Now, I’m warmed with Your mercy, so kindness-laden.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great mind-heaviness
Thank You for helping me move on despite weakness
Midst Your might that prods my strength to walk on righteousness---
Now, I’m guided to live with testimony of holiness.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great longing for Your ministering
Thank You for teaching me to be faithful by Your ready aid-rearing
Midst Your correction that admonishes my boastful vain stirring---
Now, I’m provoked by Your zealous nurturing.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great desire for reaping’s bounty
Thank You for blessing me by Your multiplying ability
Midst Your sufficiency that satisfies my good works’ productivity---
Now, I’m anchored to serve upon Your guarding authority.

Lord God, You are my grace Enricher
while I’m in great passion for Your cause to flourish
Thank You for offering to me Your unspeakable gift that can never perish
Midst Your compassion that subjects my devotion to what I must cherish---
Now, I’m inspired to serve as my soul You always nourish.

My Love

My Love

I love you much, my love, therefore I beg you
Give me that which till today, nobody have asked you
Don’t puzzle, I hope, you’ll help me in this regard
Best beloved and well wishers have supplied essentials
Of lovers always if we turn back too pages of history

Don’t worry; I'm not hurting you demanding your life
Your assets, requires you much rather than to me
I don’t care darling what other guys evaluate upon my asking
Because I don’t see more valuable things than that
Which can easily, you can offer me

Even it doesn't hold any cost just some dedications
Which till today no one has dared to offer?
I love you heartily so I want to take stand in this regard
Projecting out as if in the hill some inscriptions in ridges
To draw the attraction of demonstrators

Don’t afraid, I’m not wishing you to make you show piece
To others at you or my cost, you’re my every thing
Why should I believe you in that easy way?
Definitely my intuition invokes me from within
You will offer me that instinct for my pleasure

Cause, I've noticed in your bright appearance
Deliverance of love is in different mode
Your juvenile desiring to oblige somewhere in the custom
I believe, as we are reared in the same village
In the same brink of the river.

Many times we have rained with completely
Our cows and herds also could not differ them
Swollen brooklets have helped us to unite body
Catching in hand hugging you and adding your body with mine
While crossing you know we used to become one

You can guess your feeling would have crossed the height of Himalayas
To understand, what body wants to be done?
Your drowned eyes and dropping down drops of water
Used to provoke effort

Beyond that down through the throat, running paths for drenched water
Was explicitly witness, the curved part would be seizing more for that
As a trunk of elephant’s those beautiful thighs
Used to give witnessing purity ascribe for judgement of love

Slowly, crossing plain, stepping towards hills and
Demarcation of two grassy lanes, when used to welcome
To separate, I know my pinches would cleave you
With high breathe. My love, I love you, I confirmed my decision to you.
