Never give up

Inspite failures and life's hard knocks
You can still be recognised for high achievements in your works
Forget the young you going through the tough
Others may give up on you but don't on yourself

Dream gives support to your hope
Relate with acrobats focus on tightrope
What else could have inspired their performances?
Apart from steppings' miscalculation and its consequences

As hope inspires efforts
So efforts are stalwarts
Rigorous and may be barbarous
But struggling means you are progressing via being adventurous

Efforts result in success
As you ignore the naysayers
Gets you convalesce
And lays you to acquire being among achievers

Make dreams roots of successes
Don't stop; keep pushing
Find your purposes
Refine you abetting

Follow your dream
It knows the way
It may seems going downstream
But will never lead you astray

May all dreams come true...
And while you wait patiently
Don't take death an option brilliantly
Too promising to be addressed adieu

Oladokun Kolawole just keep me inspiring and writing
It is awesome having you around

The starlight bloodmoon act IV

RK: "smokey drifted through once like mountains sheered off like cotton candy colored clouds nipped at the purpose of the rootbound ridgeback dragons."

Lucifer: "They decant no, somber but ready for some gift of virtue, and where abundance and prosperity are so fulsome such a dream."

Aurora: "Likewise the sorely wrong believe themselves wronged as sure as the swallows that hum soft cadences for bees which splint the flower's pollen for spreading."

Kate: "I've held the oceanic waters so nimbly let pour the caught rhythms of deliquescent moored stalwarts."

Helel: "The fife has enruined the walkway so esplanade does explaining this cause arouse such pomp?"

PW1: *disavows that he is stronger now and progresses*

The forbidden one: *cooly saunters towards a more comfortable position in the shade*

Uraeal: "I ask they do, I move they aim for a moonshot, is not the billowing cloudshares like those enroute to pebbly shores?"

DR dragon: "Pervasive this shifting moon which changes like wire frames sent into the hues."

arophc varuag: "I fed the farms such broken dreams but here they so replete, and should I ask the moon to share, another captured strike to snare."

Zeus: "The gambling is all but done, but here we save the swollen stumps that brick-by-brick were truly wood but means not that to cooped up fools."

Beautiful Mountains

Beautiful lions without presumption or stare,
Rightfully existent in time, contribution and air,
Ending fright and despondency from stalwarts,
Asking nothing but your reaction, leaning and heart:
Thwarted by trends, images of culture and expectation,
Hearing nothing but your heart beating, your darts,
Thatching ears with arms wide open, for you apart,
Angling for your worst, your most hurtful complication;
Keen on your hesitation without offering you time,
Innate with you, finding you perfect and with no mime,
Notwithstanding the right to motion or mention a hint,
Given the entitlement to suggest that there’s a tint.

Premium Member The Fire Within: Tales of Lifelong Passion

In the depths of Van Gogh's starry night,
A passion burned, and a soul took flight.
Colours swirled in a cosmic dance,
His paintbrush, his fervent romance.

Michelangelo with marble white,
Carved life from stone, a glorious sight.
David emerged with strength untold,
A testament to a passion that's bold.

Picasso, with his fractured art,
Broke the mould, tore worlds apart.
Cubist dreams and surreal schemes,
Passion flowed in endless streams.

Mother Teresa, a heart so pure,
In slums of suffering, she'd endure.
Her love, a beacon, in the darkest night,
Passion for compassion, burning bright.

Marie Curie, the atoms' quest,
In the lab, she'd never rest.
Radiance and discoveries unfurled,
Her passion ignited the scientific world.

Tagore, with verses that touched the soul,
His words like music, make spirits whole.
"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high,"
His passion for freedom reached the sky.

Nelson Mandela, in prison's cold,
A passion for justice, fearless and bold.
Forgiveness, unity, his enduring plea,
He set a nation and its people free.

Robert Frost, with words so deep,
In snowy woods, his promises keep.
The road less traveled, his chosen way,
A passion for verses, night and day.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning's love,
Her sonnets soared to skies above.
Passion's fire in every line,
A love for all time, a love divine.

Dalai Lama, with wisdom profound,
In a world of chaos, a tranquil sound.
Compassion and love, his guiding star,
A passion for peace, from near to far.

Michelle Obama, a voice of grace,
Championed hope in every place.
Education, equality, her guiding star,
A passion for change, from near to far.

In these souls, their passions drove,
They sought, they struggled, they dared to prove.
Their legacies, like stars in the night,
Illuminate the world with passionate light.

So, let us, too, in our way,
Let passion guide us, come what may.
For in our hearts, a fire resides,
With passion as our compass, our love abides.

Premium Member MEMORIAL DAY - GIVING ALL FOR THE COUNTRY

They marched along courage-dominion
Heralded as heroes, defying cowardice opinion
Soldiers of the country midst freedom companion
Deserving "Super Warrior" medallion.

They fought along peace-advocacy platform
Striving, in the name of safety, for miracle reform
Obeying lawfully with “Keep Calm and Carry On” to conform
In fulfilling their protective guardianship roles, they did perform.

We salute them for their diligent, determined, dedicated might
As stalwarts in their duty to country first against personal plight
Always ready in their offensive attacking flight
Defending fellowmen with allegiance-light.

We honor them for their great legacy of vibrant glow
Leaving us liberated from conquerors' woe
Now, we are enjoying their sacrifices with serenity flow
Marked by gracious hope for every tomorrow.

Remembering their valor midst memorial history
We thank them, grateful to God* for His enabling victory
Now, we can retell their valuable story
Fortunate that we are now basking in their hard-earned glory.

*1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Cyril the Tramp

An old Tramp wandered around locally
When I was young man in my early teens
I used to see him daily wandering around in a daze
Dressed in an old dirty jacket and well worn out jeans
But what made him so memorable, I still think about him to day
Was what was with him was a Badger on an old black lead
With its short legs and Weasel like black and white stripped head
On a seat near an old railway bridge they would often stop to feed
Eating any scraps they found checking out local litter bins
Whatever they found would be their meal of the day
Sometimes they would sit there till night time came
Then they get up and go on their merry way
Where they would spend the night nobody knows
But they were always up bright and early and out on their round
Always walking along cheerfully Cyril whistling a tune
But Bertie his Badger making nary a sound
Passer’s by would just nod and wish them good day
Walk by with smile and a look of surprise and an inquisitive look
Occasionally giving a few pennies as they went passing by
With Cyril and Bertie heading for the old brook
Where they could both par take a drink from the freshwater steam
Eat what morsels of food they to help them through the day
Sitting there silently admiring the view
Enjoying life in their own indomitable way
A more stranger couple it would be hard to find
But they never bothered anyone in their indomitable way
It was strange to see these two stalwarts of the road
One Human one Animal a strange combination to meet at any time of day
They got together on a dark late evening in December
Cyril wandering through the local woods on this winter’s night
Looking for shelter, just a place to lay his weary head,
When he heard this loud noise which gave him a fright
Investigating, he found Bertie caught in an old trap
He freed him immediately and used an old rag to bandage his wound
Then they spent the night together sheltering from the wind and the rain
From that time onward their relationship just bloomed
They have been together now for many a year
I see them quite often out and about on their walk
And always say hello with a smile and give Cyril a ten bob note
I wonder what Bertie would say if only he could talk

Premium Member Dreaming To Become

Challenged by the visionary speaker decades ago
I had a dream to become a tribal missionary to spread heavenly glow...

To make myself engaged in every discipleship engagement
involving in worthy tasks of counselling settlement...

Looking forward to learning different dialects and languages
my tongue would struggle with twists and accents along session stages...

With ministerial pursuits, I would delight to see youth joyously ready
and children from heathen culture grow in faith through Bible study...

Then help families to be health-oriented along good hygiene perspective
yes, pushing for rural welfare and development of Scriptural directive...

While encouraging lasses to pursue teaching toward life-upholding
and lads to be future engineers beyond infrastructure-building...

Pressing young ladies to prepare themselves as functional homemakers
and gentlemen to become bread winners and God's will-seekers...

Prayerfully instilling value of God-granted peace and security
when serving as values coach to courageous vanguards in the community...

Charging the fathers' valor in their decision and determination
as soldiers of their own houses, guarding loved ones with compassion...

Concerned with wives to optimize their skills and capacities
inspiring them to do well as light of illumining abilities...

Being with environmental stalwarts for their ecological posture
so enthusiastically trekking mountains for nature-venture...

Introducing technology for progress acknowledging tribal uniqueness
prodding for advancement that welcomes adjustment against perilousness...

Empowered by the Holy Spirit to run patiently along hardness-race
my faith would cleave to grace and cling

Still envisioning to serve the Lord in such mission field one of these days
I trust* the Almighty to bless those whom He has sent there always...

Finally, to write about the triumphant journey
exalting the Saviour in my jubilant tribal mission testimony!!!

*Psalm 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Cancel Culture, Black Lives Matter,
Me too movement, Gay rights too,
Social media so much chatter
Have a gripe, just join the queue.

Pro-choice stalwarts, pro-life hawks,
Farm to table, Save the earth,
A world of slogans, countless squawks
A new cause daily sees it's birth.

Sound bites matter, the Media gloats,
Politicians scramble to take the stage,
Armed with purpose and ready quotes.
Often glib and rarely sage.

Where is reason, quiet thought.
Before action and verbal storm,
Popularity not earned but bought,
Measured now by Twitter swarm.

And as to us the silent mass
Forging lives amidst this din,
As we wade through this morass
To crack a smile is no great sin.

An old moral of the sea
Is avoid that siren's song,
Look away and simply be,
Then far less may just go wrong.
