REINCARNATION THINKING?

Life is like a coloring book
with few or many pages
filled with complex
outlined images.

We are given a box of crayons
and are asked to color in the
background and spaces of the images

Sub-titles are allowed.

When the coloring book is finished
we are given a new one to complete.

REINCARNATION THINKING 2 -SOUL SEARCHING

Was I once before or never
Don’t know how or even whether

I was a firefly, a bird of prey
a centipede, a fish fillet?

A baseball fan to keep the score
a mockingbird, a carnivore?

A blossom in the midst of spring
a sign of what the day might bring.

A germ grown in a Petri dish
a chicken bone an unmade wish

All things and species could I be,
even remnants of a tree.

Of all of these, I leave this post,
I am for now what I am most.

MORE QUESTIONS ON RE-INCARNATION

As 'core' beliefs thicken so,
does it leave us room to grow?
As aging souls say we must,
complete the cycle which was thrust
upon our bucolic living place
turned upside down in whorling space
searching for a redemptive life.

But for you, dearest one, do you not remember
before you arrived, you took this bucking horse of soul,
tamed it, labeled it and proclaimed it.
To become what you needed in order
that your ride be contained and controlled.
It's name is 'balance' and it keeps you level in the saddle
so you don't fall off.

REINCARNATION THINKING 3 -

If, we are on a soul journey,
then what must that soul become?

A better soul? A wiser soul?
A sad soul? A learned soul?
Until one reaches the end of time,

There are so many lives to live out
to fully experience all aspects of this world.
Animals, plants - more souls searching?

One can speculate, but from my perspective
none of it makes sense.

CAK 4-03-2012

REINCARNATION ENDING

Was the Phoenix reincarnated?
Or was its embers reignited?
Perhaps before a lowly worm or soldier bee
or brown turned leaf upon a tree?
A seahorse, a shark, which fish shall I be?
In fisherman's net to be eaten by me?
And when the cycle is complete
and x equals x on our balance sheet.
Can we then rest in a celestial lair
with memories gone and unaware
of trials by all things forgotten?
If choose I must or chosen by me,
I'll remain in the stars and just wait to see.

When I was 14 yrs old...
I never thought I would turn the magical 16...
that would be the time I could get my drivers license
and a job. Boy was I big stuff then.

When I was 17 yrs old...I never thought I would live to see 18.
Wow...the excitement of becoming an adult.
Now I could do what I wanted...
               I would have it made!

When I was 20...I thought in one more year...
I could be a full adult and I could make my own choices...
and move where I wanted...and all sorts of stuff.

When I was 49 I thought my life was half over.
My skin was starting to wrinkle and parts of me were starting to sag.
I wondered if this was what I had to look forward to.

When I was 59 I dreaded turning 60.
to me that was old. Those were the ones I made fun of
when I was younger and swore I'd never be like them.

Well...now I'm 66 yrs old and I can't seem to wrap my head around it.
It seems all the movie stars I grew up with were all dying...
or at least looked like it. My youngest child is 34. How did
that happen? I sat and thought about all the things
I'll never get to do again...
                         because I have Parkinsons also...
                               and it's taking it's toll.

I now struggle with wondering If I even have a purpose anymore.
I wonder if my kids still need me. I question my value.
I feel embarrased that at times I need to use a cane.
I question all the choices I've ever made...
but I know one can't go back and change what's already
                         happened.

I've decided with much soul searching that I can find other ways of helping.
After all it's not about me. I can think what I can do to help others.
I have things I'm good at and I have a lot of life's stuff
                I've been through...
that maybe I can help with.

It's all about choices. I could choose to sit and just wait to die...
or I can use what I do have to help others.
           The choice is mine...
                 and the choice is yours.

Speaker, speaker I'm listening...

You’re doing the right thing!
Unswayed from Kremlin propaganda
Isn’t how our country should swing
Faith changed; policies rearranged
Soul-searching, amazing grace you’ve seen the light
Unveilings of the autocrat,
Eluded the venomous snake bite
Boldly repelled the takeover of the Muscovite
Three foreign aid bills, thanks to you and Democrats!
Aid to Orient’s Formosa!
Aid to Eastern Europe!
Aid to Middle East!
Unwavering commitments
A revelation at the least
God’s saintly ears?
Send hope to the starving children of war and genocide
Listen to their screams and let them feast
They need YOU! by their side
Foreign war package they say does nothing for America,
Yet …it bolsters our reputation and saves our souls!
Keeps our sons and daughters home, out of harms way

Speaker, speaker Oyez! Oyez!
Now women need your help with rights of the Miranda

                …---...SOS …---...

This will unfold, as I shall explain,
Again and again, more propaganda
There is a time for trifle idling,
there’s always time to dilly dally
With hard won rights now unbridling
But as for now, for our rights we rally
Crucial help for those will finally arrive
Good folks, unlike the Copperheads of yesteryear,
Or the Doughfaces, who let it happen, no ego here just strive
Women don’t live in fear!

Speaker, speaker I’m listening...

First and fourth amendment, 1864
Gone now, it isn’t anymore
Criminalizing women
Criminalize their travel
Pull over and pee on the strip!
Cops shall ask you for a pregnancy test
Ill fated, before you even begin your trip
Soon you’ll be stopped from your life’s zest

God’s saintly ears?
Send hope to the starving children of war and genocide
And for women’s automony

A unsettling Ad just viewed
Young women pulled over
Not an exaggeration

Speaker, speaker, I’m listening…

Your own want you gone,
Because to the other side you compromise and fawn,
All is music in God’s saintly ears?

You did good as statesmen should, risking all
I quote you now when you say,
“Let the chips fall where they may”

Finding Soul: Realize Thyself 3

soul searching
purpose working

once upon a rhyme
a friend named Trina and I wrote
it's still true in this space
and time although some
things have changed
the life of a soul with a
spirit in a body from
soul to radiant
and whatever else is
believed to be within
and without; I search
for the meaning of that
whicih I cannot see and
that which I can see
I have been fooled by
appearances this is a
notoriously promoted
'don't' on the universal
spiritual list

in the year 2000,
I sat down with journal
and pen everyday for
six days I asked questions
and God gave answers
I knew nothing of a
Neale Donald Walsh
but at my desk in my
bedroom I had my own
conversations with God
and it wasn't as hard as
I thought it would be
I wasn't new age or new
thought savvy and
I had know idea that
perhaps what I was
doing according to
some was completely
wrong I had questions
and I wanted answers

my favorite exchange
was a question about one
correct religion or path
to connect with God
I was given an answer
in numbers; let's just
say the destination is
the number six. write down
how many ways you know
off the top of your head
to get to the number six
I came up with fourteen
equations. and I knew there
more that would take time
to calculate and contemplate
so many ways to one goal
and could I say any of
them were wrong? no.
there's the answer
and I was satisfied and
yet I know there are folks
who would treat people
like outcasts, argue in large
groups or just a few people
any and everywhere or kill
to make the point there's
only one way to God

I've read about many religions
including the one in which I was
raised Christian....the history
behind it all is astounding
but oddly enough, not surprising

finding soul through religion
and spiritual practice taught
me something profound -- it's
with me all the time, it was
a matter of finding its purpose
a path already in motion
before I uttered a prayer
but the need for labels,
phrases, terminology,
and specific concepts
can muddy a surprisingly
clear view when I was
not so overwhelmed
by the "Am I getting it
right?" syndrome and
I need confirmation
over and over again

it had to stop
and it did

To The God of Poetry, Gift Thy Loving Kiss

To the God of Poetry, I this beg
extend thy helping hand, reclaim my pen
should we fail, falling to break racing legs
from Poet's heart forgive we mortal men.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

To the God of Poetry, this I plead
look deeper into our soul-searching hearts
for there hides, rose-red in the ink we bleed
and beautiful melody in verse we impart.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

To the God of Poetry, this I ask
should we weaken, in writing lose our way
shine brighter lights, in love's warmth, let us bask
even if our words are weak, let us stay.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

To the God of Poetry, this I know
thy power is in thy mercy and love
forgive us each and every low blow
grant us each, angelic muse from above.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

To the God of Poetry, this I need
wisdom from thy spirit, its great power
harvested crops of thy beautiful seed
in thy Light live, not in the dark cower.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

To the God of Poetry, this I give
devotion, from mind and my busy hands
blessings returned, from joy which I live
heart's sweeter songs, across thy golden lands.
Cast thy immense shadow upon mind's thought
We poets know, thy love can not be bought!

Robert J. Lindley, 5-07-2019
Rhyme, (Replying to Panagiota Romios's-- finely woven and deeply inspiring, poem titled- "To The God Of Poetry")
I composed this piece early this morn, before the sun rose to gift the day its brilliant hues, promised blessings and sweet
hours to love and be loved..

Note: To poets, poetry is far more than just writing- it is the act of joining.
Joining in communicating, sharing, creating, singing, dancing, loving, living
and many other beautiful blessings/emotions. The more communication/sharing the better for us all. The more gifting verse, words for future generations the better for us all..

Inspired by your superbly crafted poem my great friend..

A Moment In Time Pt.2

Sometimes I would look into their eyes and strait lace lie as if I was telling the truth.
Sometimes I was disgusted in myself cause I would know the truth and I would lie so fast
and decline to ever tell the truth. And you know once you lie you have to be committed to
it, which only makes it worst. Consumed by the actually truth and not revealing it was the
hardest trick, all most like the devil, turns out to be scary for the ones your in love
with. But did I care NO, I continued to do the same, until that one did it to me. So when
she did it, it crushed me, to the point to where I felt like I could not breathe any more
and I fell to the floor like a bag of bricks. I was done, washed up, and almost jealous at
her for that moment, so what do I do. They say to pick yourself up and to brush it off,
but for me it was harder then that. It was like it sucked the life out of me. I had never
felt lower in my life then at that point, it took awhile, a long while. But after years
and years went bye, of soul searching and mind healing. I finally started to heal. Wish
also lead to the end of the final stage of being selfish.
Often in my life I was missed judged, under appreciated, miss used and then thrown away.
Cautious of others, not wanting them to get close, so you know, here comes that cloak.
Forced to be manipulative and to hide myself from the truth, and to keep anyone close to
the truth, so close that it would be right under their nose, and they would never find
out. Persistent in my approach, full throttle all the way. Confusion played a major part,
cause if they weren’t sure about it, then how would they ever really know. Becoming so
intoxicated with the game of it all, I can feel it taking over me. Dividing fact from
fiction was an everyday chore, trying to remember what you told and who you told it to was
a game in it self. Passionate to make everything work in my favor and a lot of times it
did, but boy what a price, I would pay in the long run. Sometimes it would feel like I was
on acid, from all the trails I was leaving, trashed to the point where you feel like, “Why
did I do so much“. Thinking my swag was so strong that I just keep it moving on. The
first stage of being misguiding has ended.

Premium Member The Wand of Kismet

Quote: “Set yourself on fire and seek those who fan your flame.” By Rumi
               **********************************

I sliced through the strings
that thawed my dreams in shadow,
tossing them into the time tiara
of celestial orbs and supple styles.
Periwinkle-plum dawns defy time;
Bright blooms grow in cosmic cracks.
Dusk falls on barren land, esoteric embers;
With an aching heart, I walk alone,
serenading with blue lotus meteors.
The wand of Kismet gleams akin to stone,
as cinnamon-glazed magic unravels.
Each shift is a fascinating fight—
light-flecked drape, lyrical elixir, elegies;
curling mulberry-leaf marrow fades.
After the kernel, I strive for clarity
without crash or catharsis, without pain.

A lovely wind touches my smile—
In the pulse of erased promise.
An impending divorce is stipulated.
In echoes of exquisite and ubiquitous,
lavender-sequined crystals of shift,
I sail beyond the rhyming reefs to embrace divorce.
Cut wistful strings, salty lines, diving into rhapsody...
Torn uncanny links below heavy waves,
free to explore unmet routes
amid vanilla plankton tears.
May I find solace in every crooked teal smile.

O, if sepia pearls and reverie state a split,
I release and love what is not meant to stay.
Even with moon megalomania, using past wisdom,
the plants wide wings amid the warm sky
and herbs flexed with a deceased breeze of joy.
I sip in the glorious, gold-and-cherry air,
Clouds of bewilderment have dissipated.
In a captivating cosmos, clarity clings.
Hunger, turmeric-tinted roses follow an idyllic climb,
and whispers shout boldly—unafraid, Nix!
Ominous night glows appear as we fly across the sky.
We claim our position under brilliant beams
and the rose-glazed moon,
while myths merge across endless twilight.
Heartbroken after its fateful odyssey,
among the stars, free from a fixed kismet.
I will sleep calmly, wishing for plum rings
to create a pearlescent paradise.
The Estuary of Esoteric Embers
laces my home with soul-searching chimes,
whistling away in flavors of forgiveness.

One Soulmate Love To a Lifetime

"One Soulmate Love To A Lifetime"

There is one Soulmate Love to a lifetime!
A heart and soul searching only for you.
When soulmates make contact they hear Love's chime,
knowing their Love will "forever" be true!

A heart and soul searching only for you.
Past lives are thought to be the origin,
knowing their Love will "forever" be true!
This soul searching has it's own regimen!

Past lives are thought to be the origin.
Star crossed lover's separated in the past!
This soul searching has it's own regimen,
for even time this Love search will outlast!

Star crossed lovers separated in the past.
Though then doomed this Love transcends all of time,
for even time this Love search will outlast,
for the feel of Deja Vu is a sign!

Though then doomed this Love transcends all of time.
Soulmates see a past in each others eyes,
for the feel of Deja Vu is a sign!
There is no escaping it though one tries!

Soulmates see a past in each other's eyes.
Two souls together unlock true Love's door!
There is no escaping it though one tries.
Destiny has determined this and more!

Two souls together unlock true love's door!
When soulmates make contact they hear Love's chime!
Destiny has determined this and more.
There is one Soulmate Love to a lifetime!

March 1 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 10-12

Key Verse – Joshua 10:8 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PEACE-GIVING DELIVERER

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… against smiting fear
Thank You for helping me with Your salvation so dear
In order for me to encamp in Your will’s gear
So that I can stay in Your presence, and to Your heart, always near.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… of pride-slaughter
Thank You for hearkening to me for my plea as Your beloved daughter
In order for me to seek Your plan around Your purpose-center
So that I can stand strong while to Your ministry-hall I enter.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… with Your reviving commandment
Thank You for hiding me in Your victory of sword’s empowerment
In order for me to remain in Your grace-settlement
So that I can pass through trials’ faith-refinement.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… by Your soul-searching calmness
Thank You for healing me from sin’s sickness-destructiveness
In order for me to enjoy Your springs of refreshing bountifulness
So that I can dwell in Your heavenly country of blissfulness.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… along Your eternal deliverance
Thank You for hallowing me for Your kingdom-treasures’ insurance
In order for me to serve You with gracious endurance
So that I can combat spoiling corruption for Your Gospel’s furtherance.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… assuring me battle victory
Thank You for hindering me against iniquity’s fury
In order for me to climb up Your mountain of faithfulness-territory
So that I can abide in Your divine inheritance-glory.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… upon Your reigning foundation
Thank You for holding me by Your authoritative position
In order for me to go up toward maturity-perfection
So that I can hurdle valley-temptation and wilderness-persecution.
