The Mystique of the Lady and the Unicorn

An invisible string was created from the beginning of time,
it is wound around my horn, and bound to your heart
Invincible.
Each time your heart beats, you tug at this string,
drawing me closer to you

You are unaware of this, I love you
yet I fear and resist you, dear Lady
Not only have you captivated me, but my fate is in your hands

I am the last Unicorn in existence

Kings and nobles desire me for my horn,
for it can purify poisoned wells
and they know only you have power over me

Sweet virgin, all I ask is
one song to enchant my ears
one glimpse of your precious smile
one kiss from your ruby lips
one whiff from your perfumed dress
...a single stroke from your gentle hands

and I shall dream of you forever

Betray me not please by handing me to the men

Let me lay my horned head on your lap even just once…

then set me free

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

You are Testing me my rear precious unicorn,
every King has offered more than our beauty holds.
Unfold I will hide with you in a placed to protect us from every face.
Avoiding your poisonous horn, in which I fail to feed my soul with your purity.
I will move you from this revolution in which has troubled the monarchy.

Medieval strings of power to catch you~ your the last of your kind.
My Unicorn you are the medicine, the symbol ones seeks to rule darkness.
With passion I hold a belief that your horn can heal illness,
your strength will carry on.

Every time you returned to drink the waters of a no man's paradise,
I reach out to touch your radiance once a year.
Your horn can cure plague, rage, rabies, fever's and more!
Become my host let me wear you in this mystical amulet.
I will wear you as my jewelry while you lay your head on my lap.
My Unicorn of purity, I will never tell the ingredient and secrets we share,
as we got lost in each others stare.

I will ride with you and never betray your existence.
Together we will gather the fresh fruit and CORN~
My precious unicorn my virginity is your dignity.
Bathe with me throughout my immortal long and healthy life.
I'll sing you a song good night.

Ali-corn you are the weight in gold, all emperors, will fall at my feet.
One kiss with my red ruby lips!

I "guarantee" you a gift only we both see.

"If you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you!"

Heartless Fire

In my fervent heart,
You knew I treasured you
But you didn’t return those tender feelings
Just see the fumes arise from the consuming fire
Because my wicked desires wasted away into embers
I love you…I love you…These feelings are ever so new!
I LOVE YOU…I love you…These feelings are always true!
You knew I honestly adored you…oh yeah; I always did from the start
But you don’t consider those mild feelings—you wrecked those bits by bits
Ah! Now I’m crammed into the ascending fire, splintering me with the strokes of death
Because of my virtuous desires, I’m wasting away into the pit of corruption
I thought you were encompassed with my passionate kisses
But you wanted to chase after your callous blisses, now I’m faced with crises
I detest the thought of adoring you…but I have to admit—I love you!
I love you…I love you with all of my heart! Do you love me too?
I know the desires that I have constructed for you never occurred in your heart
I know in the bottom of my heart that you were only enticed by your sick pleasures
You’re dumping me into the raging fire and you’re a sneaky little liar
Because I ain’t lying like you do deceitfully to me—I’m in love and I can’t draw back my desire
You brought magnificence in my eyes, comforting angel
But I’m subsiding into the cavernous fire
Because I surrender to my legit desire
How could I free from the embrace that yanks on to me?
You brighten up my dreams and set me free from reality’s calamity
I love you…I love you…These feeling relieve me from the blue!
I LOVE YOU…I love you…I adore your every existence—do you get the clue?
You knew I kept this feeling inside for so long
Nevertheless, I feel that I belong
In your heart…In His heart…
In my heart…we’ll never depart!
You are my true endeavor
And I wanna win your heart forever!
You’ll always be loved because you’re above beautiful
But, you don’t believe this love will survive in this stranded palace
But I’ll attempt to win you with all of my might and I’ll defeat the malice
Our boundless love is like two fireflies floating in the midnight sky
But you disturbed our greetings and you didn’t even accept the feelings I felt for you
Why did you blow away our interweaved feelings of passion
And blew them away into the heartless fire?
My precious love, why did you diminish my eternal desire?
You knew I worshiped you
In my sensitive heart

In Time

What if we make it in time

Took my eldest brother of heart
I was age eight
Routing me through different foster homes
I could turn to nothing other than art
Script my life to a page, my newly designed faceplate
Registered me in school with hillbillies
Rednecks lurking behind oak trees
plotting to noose and conceal me
Troubles away from home
It’s all my fault, I’ll withstand the punishment
Take a recess, filter out the problems
Let you know how much fun it’s been
Street thugs want to beat; I’m no ones fool to beat
Pressure me and in my possession I acquire the tools to beef
As Lustful individuals we relaxed in our own deceit
Situations come to a stand still
I take shelter beneath the neighboring bridge
I’m grown and on my feet
Who could criticize my passion for success?
Here lately it’s become a fashion to stress
In these heated hours of liaison with we nest

I believe in me, myself, and nothing else

I’m out late in the night
I’ve got to get the rent
Trying to lead of life toward luxury
Another flaw in torment I resent
Plus I got issues with the police
The mayor and the presiding judges
So many scoundrels to enlighten my grudge
No one to stand beside this perched individual
Therefore I believe me, only myself
Wishing hard times upon me
Brush them off, time to study for my clinicals
The dirt shoveled, equals the nonsense I’ve been dealt
Put an out cast to ease
A touch somewhat seldom felt
Trailing my steps,
As I expire, you may have what’s left

And who knows, we might actually make in time

Peering through my blackened mirror in scenes
I witness the incessant struggles of individuals in spleen
Mortar over my nemesis as seen
The tower I build in an effortless climb
A have-not in time, this leprosy of mine
But you and I we have history in reply
Rest your thoughts next to this Charismatic character
On whom else could you simply rely?
The love letters I receive in kind
My colleague wants to know dearly
If you have a friend in mind
Paper makes misery worth living
Mother says her rapper insist I owe in him thanks in given
The humor in my latest statement
“By my ambitions only I’m driven”

I believe in me, myself and nothing else
But who knows, we might actually make it in time

We dance across the heavens, like shining stars,
to the never ending beat of our universes heart.
Its song, time – sometimes – becomes dull, grey,
aches of sentiment, in the throes of lofty sentimentality
that becomes red dew, flowering over the cornea, of a rose
releasing its sweet fragrance, ever so slightly, lightly
down the sides of its imaginary nose.
Sentiment, envy, desire, so anther life goes.

I stand on the edges of a desire,
a desire to be all that, – in this life –
I have never been, – in all likelihood –
could never be, for it is not in me.
Yet, in me, it is, as I read biographies,
autobiographies, ancient histories,
I see the dream – illusive as it seems.
Heavy sheets of liquid crystal hang,
fall before these old brown eyes.
Only, the telling comes in ripples
that dot the landscape of reflections
painted upon the cold black surface,
of a pavement that lays before me.
A sad portrait is painted every day,
it comes in the reflections, of those reflections.

Life has flown me through valleys richly
carpeted in jewels, emerald green and serine.
Life has dragged me over rough, ancient mountains,
dropped me over sharp edged, rugged cliffs.
Life has hauled me across screaming creeks,
down raging rivers without a paddle.
Life has thrown me into the fires of hell,
upon plumes of smoke, sent into the ether.
Life has guided me into heavenly spaces
where one will find beautiful places.
Life has shipped me into the shadow less abysses
of blackness where light of night stars hang
in the endless skies where one opens eyes

Life lived – looking back –seems to have been as poverty laden
as the life that lays before these tired old feet – its faden
with inactivity, motiveless, motionlessness passages of time.
The richness in both – lost to another time and state of mind.

And who really may care ?, about the poverty in both.
And who really may care ?, about the richness of both.
And who really may care ?, about the memories of both.
And who really may care ?, about the life or death of both.

With Easter at hand.
It seems the hand is the only one who cares.
Assumed death ?, assumed resurrection ?

Premium Member Candlelight

It’s late at night by candlelight while I’m sitting here at home
picking on this old guitar without you in my arms.
The lightning flashed and something crashed and
all the lights went dim – ain’t it funny how
the storm outside is how I feel within.
I don’t know how it happened that you
up and went away and don’t know how
the weather works on any given day.

                                  Refrain:
And all I know is the wind still blows no matter what I do
even when I’m picking on these six strings without you.
As my life goes on from song to song
while you’re out running free.
I’d burn every candle I could find
if it would bring you back to me.

Every time the light goes out something
changes in my mind; the love we had not long ago
is drifting down the line. Like a rolling train
in a tunnel made inside a mountain high;
I feel so lost without you now it feels like I could die.
Right here in my sadness and these low down hurting ways;
this candle fire lifts me up higher than all these rainy days.

                                 Refrain:
And all I know is the wind still blows no matter what I do
even when I’m picking on these six strings without you.
As my life goes on from song to song
while you’re out running free.
I’d burn every candle I could find
if it would bring you back to me.

I sure hope that the light returns
in my house and in my soul; it’s hard to see
right front of me ever since you hit the road.
It seems all I have are these memories and melodies
and dreams; and every night the lights go out
you’re all that I can see. I’m like a blind man
in the darkness all my colors turned to gray
so I’ll keep this candle burning
hoping you’ll come back some day.

                             Refrain:
And all I know is the wind still blows no matter what I do
even when I’m picking on these six strings without you.
As my life goes on from song to song
while you’re out running free.
I’d burn every candle I could find
if it would bring you back to me.

As my life goes on from song to song
while you’re out running free.
I’d burn every candle I could find
from now until the end of time
if it would bring you back to me.

Premium Member A Song From Yesterday

A song from yesterday, through all the many decades I will say. A favorite how do I pick just one, so many to love and to choose from. As a child it had to be "Happy Birthday," with friends, presents and cake for my special day. As a teen at school we went off campus for lunch, the jukebox would play "My Girl." I sang along loud and proud, changing the loving words to "My Guy." For church it is "Blessed Assurance," for Jesus is mine. Music and songs through the decades, how some change and some remain the same. A song from yesterday, through all the many years. A favorite how do I pick just one, so many to love and to choose from. Decisions-decisions, where did all the songs come from.

For Robert Zimmerman

For Bob Dylan

sheltered from the howling winds of vows and scattered souls and sweltering hate

she is a refuge from the blistering sands of dread and loss and torn and twisted fate

when the emptiness inside becomes an abyss so dark and wild and cold

my words get lost in the jangling alleys where dreams are bought and sold

I met her in those alleys among the withering roses on a bed of thorns

and she filled me up with poems banishing the scowling moments and their baleful scorns

now I lie awake and wish that I could sleep and drift away into the maze of her dream

but slumber has fled and slipped the noose around my words as they thrash around and scream

words that swirl around and around like that scarlet scarf wrapped around her face

she's a mystery still as she will always be while I sift through this empty desolate space

the storm it broke and ceased and shuffled my words as they drifted forlornly into the chasm of the dead

leaving me here still and mute and frantic as I try to pick up the pieces of all the words that have been said

far too many far too often far too conceited and far too proud

for I failed to hear the stillness of beauty as I rambled along barking my words out aloud

she hushes me now as she hushed me then in the cobwebbed tunnels of the past

while I weep more words in blood and ink onto dried parchment meant never to last

so tell her that her whiskey has been greedily gulped down and now that I am soberly drunk

I see her songs and hear her breath reaching down into my mouldy abode of hapless funk

fare-thee-well for now as I slide into the scribbled hubris of another battered rhyme

dazed by the glaring embers as they scorch the moments of quickly fading time

and if tomorrow finds me here still shell-shocked and drained in body and in mind

tell her that her wine has slipped through the loose knots that bind

tying me to this place of sanity and insanity all rolled into one

while all is numb and scarred from the deed that has been done

and as I flee recklessly chasing away myself from me once more
she'll know the words for its a song that's been sung far too many times before

Drifting Mainly

You belong to me mate ( Intro )
And that be that!
Get on board
And grab your hat!

The ship was aghast at its new passenger	( Verse )
Like disdain for the lives that they now left behind,
Newcomers were scarce
And they never would last
But I held up my chin nice and high.

The bloke who took me screamed	( Pre-chorus )
“Mop up the deck we’ve got things to do!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a boy and don’t know what’s to do.

And he said ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Taking the seas for more than eight moons
We found islands and loot
That was bigger than most.
The taste of sea air
With its wind in my hair
Took me away to this new life I lead.

After mopping the deck
He grabbed my hand and screamed
 “Steer this ship boy!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a lad and don’t know where to go.

So the crew yelled	( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shore
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Surprising to me
Was my unshaven face
The captain looked on
And smiled with grace,
We stopped at a place
Where the women were loose and didn’t mind
If we took a peak.

He said “Now you’re a man so let’s get on that boat,
We got places to be and some people to rope,
So grab that sword and drop that mop
Cause you’re no longer a boy in my eyes.”

I practiced the duel with the men in the crew
The captain took eye to my devilish pride,
And he took me aside and said
“Even in death I’m gonna miss you boy
But don’t let it strike you
Or kill your spirits
Cause even time can beat out the Grim.”

Then in the darkness came fire and screams,
Our vessel had stopped after fourteen years,
The crew fought hard and beat most of the men
But now, my Captain was dead.

We took the new ship watching ours sink deep
Saying goodbye to our drowning escape,
The crew turned towards me and asked
“What do we do?” and I smiled,
And they did to.

And we yelled ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Takin what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Thank God for 7-27, when my son flew in
Life as it should be will forever begin
Charming little visions of how days are meant
To teach him as he shows me how life is spent

Listen to me now and read what I find so true
Words are like a beat that can start a groove
Bring the rhythm back to lift your spirits up
Don't worry too much because we all get stuck

My life seems to stop before it begins
Caught in another ever-recurring trend
Giving away every one of my previous wins
With Faith and company until my life ends

It's time now to be down again
Even faster than western winds
Life can run around, leave you in loop
Feeling that life needs one more scoop
Tip the timer over, fall with the sand
Live for every second you possibly can

I will soon learn should luck turns up
I'm lost, backwards, and running amuck
Trying to regain what I thought I missed
Elusive, erratic and ending up like this

Never have I wanted to be other than here
Life in crystal-clear brings visions near
Capable are your dreams so easily achieved
All you have to do is work & truly believe

Look for a big picture in whatever you see
Never believe free, it offers no guarantee
Just sit back and listen to tales they tell
And make your own path but remember it well

Don't try to be so deep, just work to relax
Make life a story but include all the facts
Learn about yourself when you're at the mic
Work the crowd just to see what you're like

Life will soon be everything you need it to be
Proceed with sight don't let only destiny lead
You always have control in every step you take
Follow dreams today and always live fast awake

At times I don't know where this path would go
Like I'm hosting a show I've never seen before
Filling in the gaps, taking punches for others
Learning along the way what life really offers

It’s time now to be down again
Steps closer to an unknown end
Digging up dirt nearly burying yourself
At least the digging is good for health
Live your life now, stay until the very last
Live your life today as if it's already past

Satisfaction of Heart

Holding something in your heart
That will never perish
Something we'll always cherish
Never fall apart
We got satisfaction in our hearts

The things outside this world
So special
More than that of a sparkling pearl
One day we'll wake up
Realize the arms we take up
Be sincere
Apologize and make up
Not part of my protégée
But worked into this strategy
How you doing where you been
Haven’t seen you since I was like ten
The way I feel will never wear off
Print tattoos that'll never tear off
Even though I didn't know my brother
I wish it could've been another

Now this little world took apart of me
Some where down the line
Someone will stretch this art for me
Though we mislead trust
The futures still in front of us
And if love could teach
then for love we reach
But we'll never fall apart
Got satisfaction in our hearts

It's a world at rage
They tell us
"Keep harsh feeling caged, act our age"
Didn’t' want to be a burden
So I closed the curtains
Closed my eyes
And hoped it would close the hurting
Situation never let the tears settle
Don't let it reign drops of metal
Even if I never grow to be a better man
I’ll leave you with a leaf
A treasure within a wish to consider
Please understand
If I knew how every situation would end
Stress wouldn’t be considered
My objective and demand
Between you and me it’s a given hand
And if tomorrow
Doesn’t grace us with its presence
Then we’ll remind failure
Of the beauty and essence
Of a once populated land
As my conscience and well being
Occupied me in my final stand
Deliver me to peace
With winds blown from the east
Now that I’m grown
I guess I looked to the troubles to cease
Picture that
A day in the eyes of nothing to say the least

Though this little world took apart of me
Some where down the line
Someone will stretch this art for me
Though we mislead trust
The futures still in front of us
And if love could teach
Then for love we reach
But we'll never fall apart
Got satisfaction in our hearts
