For Man

It’s a journey man
Did all go accordingly to plan
I swear it was a journey for man
The results of a plotted hand
It’s a journey man

The forgotten me
Souvenirs of a begotten plea
Did you think I’d change
Do you miss me
Do not beg upon things
You do not wish to see
Was it a journey?
Twenty years
I’ve survived in this tourney
Laid it down
And across my face
Would become a smirk
A gift
A treasure
For those whom would mourn me
Given thought
Simply driven
By the misery happiness brought
I stand, I rest
As I breathe
I demand to receive
What you have in your chest
Simple flaws of a failure
The sorrow from my eyes
In no other words could I tell you

It’s a journey for man
Did all go accordingly to plan
I swear it’s been a journey for this man
The results of plotted hand
It’s a journey man
