My Deepest Thoughts

My deepest thoughts Little things I think about Thoughts that just go in and out Be there for you Come read about my deepest thoughts Hear about the raging battles I've fought Bring reality closer to life Place two lips On the forehead of your wife On my couch watching VH1's driven Realize we can't live this life without God So we ask forgiveness Tears fall free Once you open up your eyes to see Wrong or right these are my deepest thoughts Now we do a lot of cursing in a broken home Hearing nothing but fussing Stuck in darkness Searching for that same vibe that kept you alive Hear them plead to suffer and survive I share with you my deepest thoughts Addicted to trial and error Predicted the Nile to flood an area The art of war Put your hand over your chest Cause your hearts at war Close my eyes And wish upon a shooting star Look ahead But I'll never get to see a peaceful night Or a softer bed Together we break bread Cause we all bleed red When you lay down at night I want you to read about my deepest thoughts Insuffient funds Allow you to discontinue the joy of almonds Dressed in rags, so I look disgusting Envy my heart, cause you think it's mistrusting How long will I live? And when it's all gone what more do I give? I share with you my deepest thoughts And when it's all done And you close the last chapter I guess you can help But to submit to capture Get lost cause time will break you But the hard times will make you It can try, but misery Will never replace a good memory If you can make time, take time And read about my deepest thoughts Through the roughest nights We struggle to win our toughest fights. And I'll probably never understand the world Or the lords plan. Put here to live on Gods land Suffer no more cause we got satisfaction of heart And we'll never fall apart I'd say goodbye But these are only my deepest thoughts
