The Resurrection of Christ From the Dead

Easter has a profound significance...
the resurrection of Christ from the dead,
and after Lent, there's no abstinence or penance;
sacrificed, as prophesied was the Pascal Lamb!
Lord, take all my sins away...
with true meekness I pray!

Easter begins at sunrise
and the faithful sing with triumphant voices,
to glorify the unblemished
Lamb of God so hallowed and reigning!
Lord, take all my sins away...
with true meekness I pray!

Christ, the worthy Lamb, was slain
and now He has risen from Hell,
paying with His shed blood our iniquities in full...
and whoever follows Him will be greatly rewarded!
Lord, take all my sins away...
with true meekness I pray!

There stands, on His Heavenly throne,
the Word revealed to us on the day of resurrection...
not scourged and crucified on the hill of Calvary,
but raised and glorified by the Father of eternity!
With true meekness I pray,...
Lord, take all my sins away!

He died for our sake, and love was His gift,
and as divine as He was, He even endured thirst;
let's dwell in His holy temple that man's malevolence
can't ever tear down or menace with vindictiveness!
Lord, take all my sins away...
with true meekness I pray!

After a Poem By Walter Von Der Vogelweide'

After Walter von der Vogelweide's poem to be translated as I sat upon a stone

My mind from worldly cares once lost
elbow on knee, hand to cheek, legs crossed,
i sat upon a seat of stone
thankful with thoughts to be alone.
and contemplate, now free from strife,
whate’er gives meaning to this life.
I saw, uplifted by strange wings
that life combines naught but three things
one so-called honour, one worldly wealth,
one given by God, soul-blessing health.
Honour and wealth in conflict toss
unless God's blessing heal their loss.
Thus violence roams from town to town
And men shed blood to own the crown.
As life's three parts ne'er share one space
Unfamed or poor Iet’s choose God's grace.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WITHHOLDS US FROM DOING EVIL

April 2 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on 1Samuel 25-27

Key Verse – 1Samuel 25:26 Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WITHHOLDS US
FROM DOING EVIL

Praise be to God for withholding us from doing evil as He:
Gets us up toward holiness-pursuits
Grants us provisions along prosperity
Greets us with His calmness so peaceful
Gears us for diligence upon paths of progress
Governs us by His defense of powerful protection

1Samuel 26:19 Praise be to the Lord Who secures us
to abide in His inheritance so that we can:
Pursue through His victory while praising along salvation’s testimony
Plead for His valor while praying for strength’s tenacity
Prove His virtues while prevailing from sin’s testing
Pitch upon His vigor while protected by His sanctifying truth
Persevere by His values while provided with His sure triumph

1Samuel 27:5 Praise be to the Saviour Who
welcomes us to dwell in His grace:
Experiencing worship’s delight
Escaping from worldliness’ despair
Expecting wisdom’s discernment
Exemplifying winsome deliverance
Exuding worthiness’ display. Amen!

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Advising Me Well

March 2 Scripture Meditations Based on 1Samuel 25-28

Key Verse – 1Samuel 25:33 And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR ADVISING ME WELL

Thank You for advising me well constantly
According to Your Word surely
Against thinking of evil foolishly
So I won’t displease You deliberately.

Thank You for advising me about my spirituality
According to Your sovereignty of omniscient authority
Against backsliding because of iniquity
So I won’t provoke You and Your established Christianity.

Thank You for advising me well regarding my servanthood-servitude
According to Your example of submissive attitude
Against showing false humility along its arrogant and haughty similitude
So I won’t dishonor You with my ingratitude.

Thank You for advising me well concerning my worship
According to Your command within Your offered relationship
Against indulging in worldly, earthly and carnal friendship
So I won’t hurt You and turn from Your fellowship.

Thank You for advising me well within Your will’s protection
According to Your goodness filled with loving kindness’ satisfaction
Against complaining due to discontentment for seemingly lack of provision
So I won’t rebel from You toward my destruction.

Thank You for advising me well midst my unfaithfulness
According to Your merciful graciousness
Against disobeying You, manifesting my stubbornness
So I won’t neglect You and Your helpfulness.

Premium Member God's Holy People - Philippians 1: 1-2

The apostle Paul God's holy servant
addresses God's chosen holy people
speaking with true royal authority
looking to God from His holy steeple

God here speaks to His very own
all of those God regards as saints
draped in the shed blood of Christ
the righteous badge God has known

The people of God are His elect
chosen before the world began
in faith endowed with divine righteousness
God's blessing put on sinful man

For this sin, God sent His beloved son
to be the sacrifice our sin to atone
on the cross, Jesus paid the price
acceptable to God who accepts no clone

God's word speaks of the holy necessity
without holiness, no one shall see the Lord
every unholy being God will reject
make sure your sins are under His sword

("Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,
To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.")

Fighting For a Great Cause

I could never back out
when facing adversities;
I keep on fighting my battles,
until there no more to fight!

They think I do it for prestige,
to win the sympathies of others,
but it's a misleading thought that provokes...
see how I capture a fortress without a siege!

My courage indicates how I prevail when nothing
seems insignificant or impossible;
everything has a concealed meaning,
or a scope behind it...and I dream of the unattainable!

Gladiators of ancient Rome
fought in the arena to gain freedom,
but only a few were fortunate enough
to survive and cheat death!

I'm hoping that my fate wouldn't be too fierce,
admiring how those slaves stood against tyrrany...
and with strenght and effort, they gained their liberty;
today, fighters don't shed blood...they only shed tears!

Where Were You

Where were you?
____the days were dark
abyssal nights
Swallowing my love
when his soul was leaching;
fading into nothing

Where were you?
when he lied on his head,
stood with his tongue
and shed blood;his eyes
Pleading for mercy
in the filthy hands of devii

where was thy Divine power?
__spring of eternal water
for the thirst of soul
when his tongue was dry
Darting in and out
Counting seconds for him
to leave the earth

where were thy eagle eyes?
that watch thy lamb's feet
... ground they step on
and whatsoever comes forth

where were thy sharp ears?
when he was groaning
___deep pains and agony
fighting demonic diseases

where were thy healing hands?
that were not laid on him__
Until he flew away
like a bird and never returned.
Oh! God where is he....
