The Tempter

(A seductive voice, smiles as it looks over New York. While the sun rises)

So my old record plays

As the early morning mists slowly
Drift in

And herald the new dawn of those beguiled by sin

The politicians
Government's

People
Lovers and haters

Oh, how the air is rich
With such irreducible tension

As they all wander around with delicious apprehension

Gossipping
Feeling self important and all the while never knowing

They've been all bewitched

Has the power of influence shifted slightly to the other side, in the spiritual game of freewill

Between two immortal powers?

Can you feel the world slowly getting darker?

Premium Member The Process Or Kafka's Dream Part 3 (Revised)

Could anyone think this uneducated?
and undereducated mass of unemployed
or underemployed, aged humanity,
should, could or would,
be able to rightly determine anyone’s fate?

What farce, this democratic process?
this capitalistic rigmarole;
Serving, in the end, to do little more
than place another Mc’D’s burger,
on the table of a fat civil servant.
This system of blind, weighted, judgment,
assured anything BUT justice.
Assured, as it always has, and always will;
only peons remaining peons;
busily buzzing about their self-important tasks
paid, unpaid and pissed on.
Aiding the true criminals, the ones;
perpetuating poverty, homelessness,
illness, and ignorance;
in remaining in power.
The Jury was called.

The clocked marked the passing of the hour
with black hands on a white face
and all that was truly seen was gray.

Day in, and day out, from the ripe old age of five
I’ve take to sharp objects and whittled at their sides.

Plotting the precise angle with penetrating gaze,
the slant of slice, just so nice, as memory replays.

With curt tongue and tireless ire, I shred the sages
Burroughs, and Asimov, the Shakespeare past ages.

Butchering with rare delight, the language on the page
lancing every metaphor and simile upstaged.

and so I've arrived her in rhythm and in rhyme
killing the English language as other people dine.

Bitter Lemon Woman

In sarcastic egos, you’ve cornered the market.
A self-important peasant, a show off bourgeoisie
Without compassion, a bitter lemon woman.

A twisted tongue, a controlling snake
A liar, a betrayer and a tortured soul
A pathetic vein of vanity runs through
Your engineered persona.

You Bitter Lemon Woman

Who’s the fairest of them all, mirror?
You’re as transparent, as Perspex.
A deceiver of happiness, always seeking praise.
Showing us your power through control
A well-planned illusion of self-sacrifice.

From a Bitter Lemon Woman.

All for us, nothing for yourself? As if!
Demonstrate your power by misleading.
Arranging meetings and going alone.
Being asked, but not answering the phone.
Classic control of the inferior hangers on.

You’re a Bitter Lemon Woman.

But you misjudged me, didn’t you? I
Had the measure of you, I knew.

My Bitter Lemon Woman.

When I was out of sight, you lost control.
I found your heel and I did the deal.
A condescending smile after swallowing a bitter pill.
Humbled thanks. Loved to have seen your face,

Sociopathic Bitter Lemon Woman.

So, you can’t fool me and will never rule me.
Viva La France? Absolutely, no chance!

My Bitter Lemon Woman.

In the News Today Texas

In the News Today

How much water does a soldier’s water bottle contain?
Do we need to know, or do we want to know? Probably not
Whatever it is, the secret will be exposed when a young
man is handed the keys to the safe.
90 % of secrets are trivial, filling up electronic air-ways
The 10% tells us of the skullduggery leaders are up to
Self-important, but dangerous fools they are.
What shocked me in the news this morning was what
happened in Texas, when 18000 cows were killed in
a fire; how was this tragedy possible?
Are the milking cows kept indoors in a gigantic barn
while the grass grows on the prairies? But I think
This is animal cruelty on a massive scale
should we drink milk from animals to avoid this
catastrophe from happening? I fear this will occur again
we are the destroyers of a beautiful planet that have
room for all living beings.

All Stand

Here comes the President, of Our land, Our Nation.
He is tall and smart, and speaks from the heart.
Not always nicely.
Not everyone hears him, some wish he would be quiet.
Not everyone likes him, some wish he would resign.

I don’t care.
I dare.
I voted for him, because “they” were against America.
It does not matter which party I am.

I don’t care.
I dare.
I voted for him, because “they” were against America.
“they made that clear then… and now…”
(they held their hands up as one… I watched the debates…
I was horrified, as none stood for the Citizen’s of Our Land, not one)

I watched closely as the mid term’s provided bugs to eat the capital.
I stared at the screens of fake news while they built houses of lies,
neighborhoods of deceit, and unrest among the populace.
Great people in power pouring their gray water into the public drinking system…
That we may all feel so self important, as to now see …
Evil in fancy dress, living in castles on hills surrounded by poverty and disease.
(the return of the dark ages)
The sign post up ahead, “Welcome home.”

I found out the last guy left a mess.
No surprise…
Words like swamp have been around for years, so have the alligators.
Deals done in the dark, between offices representing all of us,
to steal gain, for self worth. Family fortunes,
made on the backs of peasants,
whose hopes and dreams were for a better tomorrow. (for all)
No surprise…

America the beautiful, the land of plenty, “In God We Trust”.
Everyone wants to come here.
(including the socialists and communists
and all those that hate her for their own personal reasons)
But so many instill fear.
We don’t want you…here.
Beware.
“WE” do care!
“We” will dare.
To stand up, stand for and stand against.
To have... upheld, to uphold and to;
hand down, hand shake or shake up…
anyone and everyone that try’s to stop…
Our President.

God Bless him, I voted for…
quit trying to impeach him,
he is doing the job.

When I Tried To Read Jane Eyre

I’ve gone through some boring times,
they’re inevitable in life,
luckily, I can truly say,
that I’ve never faced real strife.
In fact the only moment
I ever felt great despair,
was as a teen in high school,
when force to read Jane Eyre.

Good lord was the book boring,
so self-important and dull,
even worse with feminist teachers
pounding it into your skull.
I couldn’t even finish it,
and I very poorly fared,
an A-student who loved to write,
bored senseless by Jane Eyre.

The other boys did little better,
and it became a running joke,
how it could be used as torture,
more cruel than any blow.
Young men need something heroic,
where good guys go on a tear,
full of vigor, they’ll never stop
for the musings of Jane Eyre.

And now, all these years later,
it seems blocked from my brain,
wasn’t there a Lowburn school,
or something like that name?
I remember there was Rochester,
and his crazy wife upstairs,
but honestly that’s all I recall
of that blasted book Jane Eyre.

Some people proclaim it a classic,
and that folks like me are dolts,
but if that is what a classic is
then please leave me with my pulps!
Perhaps most of these classics
should go and grow a pair,
because I’ve never been more bored
then when I tried to read Jane Eyre.

…Of course, I’m an adult now. Maybe I’ll see something I didn’t before. I should try…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….
