Gaseous Squeaks

I heard the echoes of each gassy squeak
Held my breath when I sniffed his stinky leak
He let out a few more
So I ran for the door
Before his toots made the entire room reek

Others came out, while pinching their noses
His flatulence poured out like fire hoses
Oh, what a horrid smell
Worse than rotten egg shell
And can't be cloaked by the scent of roses

Woe to the innocent who are around
When his odiferous vapors abound
Just get ready to run
When the son of a gun
Cuts one loose with a squeaky little sound

My Garden

I love you my Garden
With an everlasting love,
I am your daughter,
You are my Dove.

Just to rest here in Your presence,
This sweet precious place,
Beholding your beauty,
Your Majestic grace.

Hearing the beat of a your heart,
A sweet melody,
The song of Your tears,
doth speak to me.

O how lovely is are the moments,
Abiding here,
Drinking from your love fountain,
Without a shadow of fear.

For here, is where I know thee,
Right here where I dwell,
Where the dew drops on roses,
And your sweet fragrant smell,

Rest here in this moment,
Even in darkness you are the Sun,
So beautiful, so lovely
More than any one.

Please hold me forever,
I beseech Thee, I pray,
Lest I am drawn to distractions,
And go my own way

For You are my Garden,
I am Yours, You are Mine,
O Savior forever,
My Love, my Divine

                  ************************

In the tumultuous twilight of
my wimpy seascape
I twist in torment
wandering through
wondrous woods,
awash with vibrant vistas and fragrant foliage.
My katabatic soul yearns for a soothing balm,
as the earth reverberates with abyssal emotions.
Beneath the intricate embroidery of my substratum,
bleeding bold hues into celestial heights,
wrestling with the wondrous warmth
of love within this sanctuary.

I mourn the delicate flesh
that once pulsed within me,
paying heartfelt tribute
to the soul that has departed.
Coexisting collectively for five decades
snowflakes silently settle, while the serene sea,
cradles a speechless seagull
and solitary seashells.
Radiant roses intertwine with rugged thorns,
alongside sandy shores and shimmering seas—each
glance at majestic palms
revealing beauty in its complexity.

My soul swirls in a simmering
cauldron of desires,
colliding with constellations and
luminous orbs as dusk settles.
I cradle the cardinal grief as
a potent elixir, meticulously
concocted by the cosmos.
Through thick fogs and dusky dimness,
I shape my treasured dreams
into the breathing bounds,
aspiring to mend the mighty
fissures in life's lofty ledges
with clarity and compassion.
The wretched waves wail.

In a sea of weeping roses,
I drift like a whisper carried by the wind,
extravagant in harmony with hazy waves
where storms of panic are in the bosom of hollow shade

I yearn to be North Star on the horizon
that shuns showing the ostentatious apex of lucent love
Will the twists of time still tether our tenderness?
My spirit is similar to a blossom bound in the biting breeze.
Seeks shelter in the celestial shadows as it soars.

A White Rose and the Other Roses

White Rose:

Oh, no, not the poet,
Why not the maiden with dark eyes
Shadowed by distant tears,
I will help her to shun her fears
And silence her night cries…
Oh, there he comes, the poet…

Yellow Rose:

Hush, be silent, be quiet,
He listens to what we say,
Our whispers travel like a light ray,
Changing the night into a day.

White Rose:

I will not die,
Nor see my petals be carried by the wind,
No, I will bloom in her lush mind,
Even if I left my dried ruins in a water glass
While the blowing whistle carries my petals.

Red rose:

There, the poet will lie,
Murmuring words like every noon,
Then will take one of us
And offer as his boon.
Oh, we die but art lives.

White Rose:

I will not have my hand idle,
Weaving like the cypress branches,
No, my hand will play a magical fiddle
And she will listen to the tune,
Because I will be playing near her heart
And she will be resting on my leaves.

Yellow Rose:

Look how she weaves the threads,
Blue? Purple? Pink? Green?
Roses with those colors are unseen,
Yet, she will have them to mime…
White Rose, what fate do you aim?

White Rose:

I only plan to be untrue,
Like the snow falling on a cedar
Inside a globe made of glass,
Or the feelings from a reader,
That does not seem to exist
But even so refuses to pass.

Red Rose:

Those will be the roses she crafts.

Yellow Rose:

Those will be the roses he crafts.

Red Rose:

And those roses will forever last.

White Rose:

When Adam saw the half-eaten fruit,
He knew his destiny was set,
Wherever Eve would fall,
He would follow, He would fall.
He gazed the last Eden’s sunset
And laid among the tree’s roots,
Silent were the first steps of Time.
I will not die as long Love is my crime.

Coffee

I arose early this morning with the fragrance of roses drifting in through my opened window.
This gentle breeze stirs life to awaken from its slumber.
The Twilight of this gentle morning brings me to dress in my robe and slippers.
I walk to the coffee pot in my kitchen and there
is my delicious morning coffee.
I grab the coffee in both hands and cherish it’s melodious fragrance.
I slowly walked to the front door and opened it.
I pondered the wonderful and colorful sight before me.
Watching the hummingbirds feed on the feeder,
with the sweet chirping sound of birds.
How beautiful they are as I sip my coffee.
I proceeded to my favorite bench and looked toward the sky.
Before me was a wonderful sunrise coming to warm this beautiful Earth.
The reds, orange, yellow and purple dance across
the sky, reflecting and highlighting the clouds, it made me cry.
Soon it started to rain, and I danced in the purity
of this liquid sunshine, it then slowly stopped,
revealing more lovely life before me.

Oh, such wondrous joy to witness this miracle
of a new day and to bring it
forth with a cup of delicious coffee.

Premium Member Uncommon Sense

Our physical world that we travel upon,
Showers our senses with volumes to understand.
Yet there's a wide range of comprehension,
            That often tests realities hand.

For example, our tactile sense, that we
Fumble and grope with, through skin, thick & thin.
Just as we may touch a flame that burns,
Or find the comfort of a warm wind.

We often listen to the sounds of nature,
Providing a calm and peaceful respite.
Whereas others, may hear only danger,
That they would avoid and indict.

Since much of our perception would be visual,
This sight creates the biggest discrepancy.
While often flooding the mind with images,
Causing confusion, and even an emergency!

Now when a scent or odor becomes apparent,
The olfactory moves to a powerful offense.
As some seem to have a nose for trouble,
Others, can smell the roses with no expense.

Here, a common end may be seen as taste,
From the food and drink we all consume.
Where the tongue is specially suited, to
Allow for the salty, bitter, & sweet to loom.

So with all this magnificent variation,
Its no wonder that our perceptions are askew.
Fortunately, the majorities usually find some
Agreement, and what's perceived has a common clue.

Before You Go

Lay next to me before you go,
For your leaving me tomorrow,
Lay your head on my pillow,
Before this sorrow,
Swallows me whole.

So baby give me.
Forever before you go,
Give me your love,
Before you go,
Show me heaven,
Before you go,

Take my hand baby,
Lets go from here to our favourite place,
For I don't need sadness,
Showing on my face,
You don't need to witness my tears,
I don't want you to see my fears,
so take my hand,
and lets go to our favourite land,
where the roses bloom in Colours,
not created by man,
where the breeze is gentle and warm,
where the sand is golden under the sun,

so baby give me ,
forever before you go,
so say you love me.
before you go.
take my heart,
before you go.

the sun sets slowly in the sky,
its nearly time to say our final goodbyes,
has the sun drifts into the sea,
just has my knees go week on me,
I fall and beg you please.

has the grief takes me,
you whisper in my ear,
has you wipe away my tears,

forever I give to you,
before I go,
forever you'll have my heart to hold,
for today I have to go,
forever babe is all I know,
I'm sorry baby but forever,
I will go,

Paradise Road

I've believed in you for so long
As if I was some kind of idiot
I can’t stand being so angry at you
You have helped me…. I've been crying out tears
Of shame…shame…

All of the memories spent with you
I don’t feel like I belong
I’ve let you down by my insanity
You grieved for me…but I’m too late
Watch me die…tonight…

I have so many things to look forward to…
Shadows haunt me everywhere I walk
And I feel so incomplete…running swiftly with my feet
I shake the sand off of them…
I dreamt of islands in my mind…

All of the memories spent with you
I don’t feel like I belong
I’ve not let you down by my vanity
You grieved for me…but I’m too late
Watch me die…today…

I spiral up and down…here and there…
Music purifies my ears
And I’ve lost touch of paradise
The past remains the same…same old crap all over again
It rapes my mind and puts me in a scary place

All of the memories spent with you
I don’t feel like I belong
I’ve let you down by my insanity
You grieved for me…but I’m too late
Watch me die…this time…

I roam in shadows…
and dream of red roses,
blooming gently on the palm of my hand
I belong in my own house and yet I feel like a fly, swapped on the wall
Craft me delight, God – that’s all
We all face our own fears…clothe me with Your love
From up above…
Vibrant instruments heal my soul again…
Run with me to the forest for a time…
That sweet day…that Kingdom will set us free
From blasphemed bondage

I have this pain in the bottom of my stomach…
It churns…oh it does burn…

All of the memories spent with you
I don’t feel like I belong
I’ve let you down by my insanity
You grieved for me…but I'm in a clean slate
Watch me reach to paradise road

Premium Member Breath of Spring

I feel her coming, and upon my nape
she’s brushing me! Oh my, I have been kissed!
I know she will get stronger. Then she’ll drape
the trees with all the colors I have missed
since last she visited. How nice she is.
She brings such beauty, and sweet fragrance too.
A bit rambunctious, sometimes she can whiz
right past me, swishing leaves. And skies once blue
might darken then, but when the rains come down,
I know they are her way to bless us more,
for grass that in the winter had been brown
becomes lush green. Come, Flowers I adore -
my pretty Roses – Let the breath of Spring
revive you as the hills with birds’ song ring.
