Acrobatic Essence of Zephyr

Swift
winds drift
parading
hopes cascading
lift

Zephyr's delight
caressing branches in the breeze
Zephyr's delight
Spirals of light
flickering shadows from the trees
Currents of erotic winds tease
Zephyr's delight

Spires
from mires
of gray sway
and receive thrills
as the soft whispered breath of Zephyr spills.

Rushing
Gushing
Fleeting
reeting
Zephyr races Rushing, Gushing through
He passes so Fleeting, Greeting few

Zephyr's
endless travels
across earth's face he'll stir
his caress gently unravels
wonder.

His winds entangled in the vines
that tickle`spines
and softly kiss
us with his bliss.

He sweeps the fields of golden corn
within the morn
and tickles grass
as he zips past.

Oh, Zephyr's voice around us trills
his sweet song spills
into a dance
of sweet romance.

Zephyr
Heavenly, immortal
Whirling, swirling, twirling
Grand, graceful Roman God; Grand Graceful Greek God
Whirling, swirling, twirling
Heavenly immortal
Aeolus

( Mirrored Rondelet)

~O~

Give you my Love
See the sky with stars, and the moon
Give you my Love
Sent to us all way from above
As night leaves, brings promising dawn
Gracefully Love, glides like a swan
Give you my Love
Give you my Love
Gracefully Love, glides like a swan
As night leaves, brings promising dawn
Sent to us all way from above
Give you my Love
See the sky with stars, and the moon
Give you my Love

The " Mirrored Rondelet " is a poetry form or style that was created by

I just love all the repetitions or refrains in all of the French poetry forms, I guess, it must be
a lot of that French blood that I have in me :)))...lol

Magic Journey

"I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination"
A Rambling Poet

destiny takes me to a fine stallion,
a gift from my lad as he vowed,
she is the best steed in a million,
the most enchanting and proud.

We mount, hands entwined in rapture,
but after her first trot, most astonished,
as a movement of undulating nature,
and a slow ascent is accomplished.

Our hearts brimming with elation,
muted souls soar through the sky,
miles away from our imagination,
the diminishing earth below does lie.

like restless birds of spring days,
reluctant to retire,
the silhouette of feminine grace,
in awe, we admire.

The crystal blue lakes
tie strips of satin ribbons
On emerald spread

From up above,
perils of earth evanescing,
from up above,
meandering through pristine clouds,
we wander the skies breathtaking,
buoyant spirits ever rising,
from up above.

Rondelets are a nice style to try
Let me tell you now that this form
 Is really nice to try
I've done it a few times
 It wasn't bad at all
 And they are fun
 Just write one
 You'll like
 Them.

 ~Rondelets~
 (Acrostic)

Rondelets are a nice poetry form
Only way to know is try one yourself
No other form is quite like this one
Don't tell me I didn't warned you about it
Employ this form and you'll be hooked for life
Lines can go smooth when you're doing this style
Endlessly you want to write just many more
This form quickly can grow on you one day
Style like this I will never stop writing.

Time shining through
With a peaceful bliss for the mind
Time shining through
Glorified sky forever blue
Heaven and earth shall always bind
Where life’s precious moment we find
Time shining through

Rondelet
The Rondelet is a French form consisting of a single septet with two rhymes and one refrain: AbAabbA. The capital letters are the refrains, or repeats. The refrain is written in tetra-syllabic or dimeter and the other lines are twice as long - octasyllabic or tetrameter.

Refrain is the lines with the capitals. So the refrain is lines 1, 3, and 7. This is written in tetra-syllabic which is 4 syllables per line. The other lines are written in octasyllabic (8 syllables) or tetrameter (10 syllables).

Premium Member The Ring Around

*“Ring around the Rosy. A pocketful of posies.
Ashes, Ashes, we all fall down.” - a nursery rhyme

Gone to ashes.
Each town was a burial ground
gone to ashes.
Multitudes wore rosy rashes;
The Black Death’s ring was on them found.
Dead bodies smoldered all around. . . .
gone to ashes.

Now children chant
“Ashes, ashes,” while in a ring.
Now children chant
and they’re strangely exuberant!
Of pockets of posies they sing
and think not of one deathly thing!
Now children chant.

ALPHABETS OF RONDELET Poetry Contest
(I chose Ashes, but also Chant was used
in verse two).

His love won't change
The Lord never takes a break
His love won't change
Safe in his arms nothing strange
He's main source of love hope light
Every single day and night
His love won't change.

Rondelet: "Reduce the size and population of the state."

"Ensure that even though the people have tools of war (...) they will not use them (...) they will be reluctant to move to distant places because they look on death as no light matter. (...) Bring it about that the people will (...) find relish in their food And beauty in their clothes, Will be content in their abode And happy in the way they live." Tao Te Ching, LXXX. Transl. by D. C. Lau. (Penguin Books).

Population

Cut sex: immigration will stop

Population

Well almost: miscegenation

Humans put sex at utmost top:

Aids herpes chlamydia crop up

Your brown eyes speak
bright laughter has etched your fair face
Your brown eyes speak
their bright allure is your mystique
with hands which hold such solemn grace
Oh I still long for your embrace
Your brown eyes speak

We breath in awe
for our journey's just begun now
We breathe in awe
for each distilled memory's raw
each ripe thought rewound, an old vow
hand in hand our beliefs avowed
We breath in awe

New Beginnings
for souls with eyes of brown and gray
New Beginnings
bodiless and ever singing
rise unbound, released, of earth's cliche
a higher calling to convey
New Beginnings
