The mirror breaks, a shattering sound,
Revealing secrets once were bound,
By earthly ties and mundane fears,
Unveiling secrets, transcends years.
Near death a trial, and hypnotic states,
Expose a continuum life creates,
A hint that lies beyond the veil,
Of human breath, and ragged rale.
And who are we, a true pretense,
Beyond our reach substantive essence,
Is it our soul, traversed this time,
Or something else, perhaps a mind?
The truth disguised, and yet implied,
Secrets, once known, cannot be denied,
Passing over religion, and dogma and creed,
An inward dance, whose partner should heed.
To break the mirror, itself to see,
As a window into the reality,
That life goes on, though body's flown,
The fractured glass now one less tomb.
In calmative states, so many have seen,
A glimpse of what lies in-between,
Behind our ego and our wealth,
Stands taller still, our truest self.
The one who Knows, and Shows us well,
Far and wide our own-made hell,
Born anew each day, we choose,
To hide away and always lose.
Our piece of mind, no place for solace,
Not as steeped in days this aweless,
As you stay so fast asleep,
The lies of mirrors, round you creep.
But those who break, the mirror free,
Find true path to liberty,
The shattering sound turned symphony,
After, life an epiphany.
For in the shards, we find the truth,
The beauty, our own mild reproof,
And though it may be hard to bear,
It frees us from our worldly snare.
Break the mirror, if you so dare,
See other worlds, take time, compare,
The brokenness, you see designed,
A new perspective, unconfined.

Our satisfaction is bountifully enriched with His generous sufficiency
We must be eager in delighting in it with prayerful expectancy
While abiding in His goodness of contentment’s mercy!
Indeed declared by God’s inspired Word, free from deceit’s blight
Our service is acceptably done along His unwavering might
We must be empowered in hearing it with utmost desire to practice what’s right
While involving in His work of heavenly kingdom-advancement’s height!

There is a different me
For everyone to see
I ‘m sinking in a sea
Of everyone but me
There is a different face
For those who run the race
I keep up with the pace
But my heart ‘s not in chase
For strangers I’m aloof
They are water and I’m waterproof
I’m not worth the simplest reproof
My friends and family see
A completely different me
To them I’m happy and free
But at heart I’m a poet
I’m a reader of books
I hide behind the guise
Of various other me’s
A poet at heart,
Whatever they see,
A writer of stories,
Of love and gallantry.
So when I forget identity,
In the mirror I will see
A place that’s meant for all of me.

September 6 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 23-24
Key Verse – Ezekiel 23:46 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.
HEART THAT SEEKS THE LORD FROM BEING SPOILED
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against persecution
With His assurance of salvation
That is secured by His protection
Letting us strong midst sinfulness’ affliction.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against sorrow
With His cheerfulness’ glow
That is available with His joy so thorough
Letting us glad midst uncertainty of tomorrow.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against reproaches
With His truth of devotion-searches
That is ready every time His Word preaches
Letting us repentant midst correction as His reproof teaches.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against hypocrisy
With His standard of service-fervency
That is achievable by His mercy
Letting us purposeful midst worldliness’ complacency.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against barrenness
With His work of fruitfulness
That is productive by His faithfulness
Letting us diligent midst slothfulness’ destructiveness.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against discouragement
With His exhortation of contentment-fulfillment
That is excellent by His commitment
Letting us dedicated midst backsliding’s enticement.
Our heart seeks the Lord from being spoiled against unbelief
With His wisdom of guidance giving ignorance-relief
That is perfect by His knowledge as Sovereign Chief
Letting us settled midst doubtfulness’ grief.

Saviour Jesus Christ, God Almighty revealed Himself:
Creator reaching down to me with His compassion
Redeemer, ransoming my soul from sin's penalty...
Imparting divine nature, transforming me by His omnipotence
Publishing His preserved precepts that proclaim His purpose
Testifying about His love filled with grace, mercy, pardon...
Untainted Word, Scripture* upholding my faith midst turmoil
Restoring, refreshing, replenishing me ceaselessly
Exalting the Author of truth and the Source of life everlasting.

Here I sit at the table of The Lord
with emblems to the elect grafted in -
my old faith in God and mercy restored
by the love in he who died without sin.
I sojourner, in the walk to the truth
cleansed by the holy waters of baptism -
to beseech, if not by your own reproof,
to rise again like Your son has risen.
For soon you saints in Christ the hour will come -
all who tarry in His tabernacle,
and behold the King of all Christendom
in he who no grave could hold nor shackle.
The Word made flesh who in last dying breath
had lots cast and died a criminal’s death.
Written: October 2010
Beneath the heavens, split and torn,
A path of choice where lives are worn.
One road glows with light and grace,
The other fades to a shadowed place.
The wise one stands with arms outstretched,
A voice of truth, in kindness etched.
"Choose the way of fear divine,
Reject the folly that dims your shine."
Yet many scorn the gentle call,
To tread the path where shadows fall.
They spurn reproof, their hearts turned cold,
Seeking counsel from the blind and bold.
The wayward steps, so bold and free,
Lead to chains they cannot see.
And fools who rest in empty cheer,
Will find destruction drawing near.
But those who bow to wisdom's hand,
Will walk the way to a promised land.
A life of peace, both pure and true,
Awaits the hearts that wisdom woo.
So pause, dear soul, at the crossroads bare,
And heed the call of wisdom's care.
For every choice will bear its weight,
And guide you to your destined fate.
In the vast ocean of beings and tempestuous thoughts,
You are the vessel that sails with heart at the prow, brimming with unsaid treasures.
Not all can taste your depths, not all can penetrate the abyss,
You are an ocean in which many fear to dive, though you teach them to swim in your profound waters.
It's your tragedy, you are a sculptor in the clouds, with a high frequency of feeling,
Understanding others with a merciless sharpness, while they remain strangers to your inner chorus.
It's like shouting through the mountains, and your echo is solitude, the only one that responds —
Full of melody and pain, understood only by the wind and untraveled wilderness.
With open arms, you embrace the sun and the earth,
But how many of those you embrace are truly present?
You speak in a language of leaves whispering stories through branches,
They hear only the distant rustle of a forest they've never walked.
Within you hides a universe, a constellation of emotions and sensations,
That roams undiminished through galaxies only you can see.
You are a traveler in a cosmos of compassion, where loneliness shares its bread and wine with you,
But your eyes, unfathomable, understand that not every star can always meet its pair.
Oh you, jester and king in the court of feelings,
Wear your crown of thorns of misunderstanding with nobility.
Each crucifixion of sentiment is an act of repentance and blooming,
A living bas-relief upon the wall of time, where eternity weaves reproof and caress.
And when the night of the heart covers your stars, remember:
You are a master in the art of feeling, you are the keeper of the treasury of depths,
And even if your light is unseen by many, it remains light —
A lighthouse that shines alone, even when no one ventures upon your misunderstood seas.
September 28 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Zephaniah 1-3
Key Verse – Zephaniah 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.
FAITH IN GOD WHOSE DAY IS AT HAND SINCE HIS COMING IS NEAR
God whose day is at hand is coming to end sin-caused oppression
Along His truth that enlightens our vision with His prudent provision
We should see Him midst His precepts of perfect supervision
As our faith trusts His Word, experiencing and thanking His saving compassion.
God whose day is at hand is coming to judge righteously
Along His reproof that rebukes assertively
We should obey Him heartily and willingly
As our faith submits to His commands conscientiously.
God whose day is at hand is coming to prevail in His holiness
Along His purity that sanctifies us with His righteousness
We should cling to Him against deception and foolishness
As our faith increases through His Scriptures for service-productiveness.
God whose day is at hand is coming to reign brightly His light
Along His wisdom that illumines us against sinful blight
We should learn from Him while soaring toward prayer-height
As our faith cleaves to His courage to win in ministry-involvement’s fight.
God whose day is at hand is coming to fulfill His prophecy
Along His promise that highlights His mercy
We should overcome unbelief of grievous persistency
As our faith works for Him in our stewardship’s consistency.
God whose day is at hand is coming to reinforce His omnipotence
Along His might that tramples the proud skeptics of their pretense
We should depend on Him, smiting doubts’ existence
As our faith beholds His miracles’ persistence.
God whose day is at hand is coming to cheer us with His peaceful glow
Along His victory that vanquishes grievous pain and woe
We should honour Him with adoration we can earnestly show
As our faith triumphs in His sovereignty everyone does know.
