The Inspired Word of God
Indeed taught by God’s inspired Word*, devoid of error-trace
Our salvation is verily assured thru His wondrous grace
We must be thankful in reading it with earnest praise
While learning from His wisdom of enlightenment’s rays!
Indeed affirmed by God’s inspired Word, secured from sins’ oppressing
Our sanctification is only perfected thru His full cleansing
We must be diligent in meditating it with sincere repentance from transgressing
While seeking His forgiveness of compassion’s blessing!
Indeed expressed by God’s inspired Word, filled with promise-constancy
Our satisfaction is bountifully enriched with His generous sufficiency
We must be eager in delighting in it with prayerful expectancy
While abiding in His goodness of contentment’s mercy!
Indeed declared by God’s inspired Word, free from deceit’s blight
Our service is acceptably done along His unwavering might
We must be empowered in hearing it with utmost desire to practice what’s right
While involving in His work of heavenly kingdom-advancement’s height!
