What if I never get better
What if years pass and I’ll still find myself favoring solitude with no desire to form new relationships
I’ll long for love but never allow myself a chance out of the cold
And my heart will wince even at the the thought of another kissing my lips
I’ll continue to push out any good that comes into my life
I’ll see the sun and close my curtains because the warmth reminds of better days
What do you do when someone wants to give you the sun
but all you’ve done is sulk in winter because you’re afraid of the sun rays
Afraid that you’ll get too close and suffer terrible burns because you forgot your sunscreen
Afraid that you’ll feel the warmth but be denied because you’ve ever only experienced an ice age
Afraid that you’ll lose it all if you let a soul in
Afraid to even open up a new book of love because you’re scared to see what may be on the first page
And maybe others are to blame for the onset of that ice age
but I’m to blame for the continuation of the mass snow fall and the sheets of ice
Not allowing myself to break down the wall in my mind
Only allowing myself to build it higher thinking it will give me my perfect paradise
But it doesn’t have to be like this
I can break down my walls and stop the storm
build a garden instead with a variety of flowers
I can let the sun in and for once let my heart feel warm
The sound of that is scary but other things are more concerning
Like the fact that I’m afraid of love
Or the fact that I could deny the love that is all around me
When in reality love is the only thing I wanted to feel or consist of
The truth is I’m not afraid of love or all the traits that come with it
I’m afraid that I may turn my back and my spine will be met with a sharp blade
Consuming me with a superficial love that bruises my soul and sever my heart strings
Taking that chance is almost asking to be betrayed
I don’t want to be afraid of the what ifs and off chances
I’m tired of slamming the door at the sight of love and peace
I want more for myself
because I’m so tired of solitude being the only way I can find emotional release
I think I do want love
No actually I want to be the epitome of it
I want to be warm to the touch and soft eyed
Because maybe for once I’m tired of just being a heart that’s broken and split
Christmas is more than December
It is so much more than I can remember,
So why does the season begin in the summer
When it’s not the time to purchase the plunder?
I have no reason to be early for the season
When the man in the suit arrives in the rain
And the kids begin to moan, give mum and dad pain;
If Christmas comes but once a year,
How can I honestly be of good cheer
The whole year round, when all I see are falling tears,
When the time to care for all disappears;
I have no reason to stop and stare
When the kids and the elves are flying through air
And the only words I hear are, how much for a pair?
Why do we celebrate just once a year?
For Christmas should be a time with no fear
And the festivity should be every day with no tears,
When all the gifts in the world try to compare
That nothing really gets folk to care
When the suited man and his elves are riding high
The only gift comes from above, as angels fill the sky;
If Christmas came every day, it would be easy to love;
But while it only arrives in December
It should be easy for all to remember
That Christmas begins in the heart;
For the Christ was born, lived and grew, becoming part
Of the history of us, and living after his death
When the rebirth became a gift to the heart;
We can celebrate Christ’s birth at Christmas
With friends and family together en masse;
To push out the man in the suit and those elves
Will set hearts free and be great for the health!
So why not celebrate Christmas all year round
With love in our hearts, enough to surround
The world with the sense that Christ is found;
Christmas is more than December
It is so much more than I can remember,
So when the season begins in the heat of summer
Let’s share God’s love and declare the ember
Is fired up, and the light is born today
When the man in the suit arrives in the rain
We can send him away, and tell him again and again;
Christmas is the time to remember
That what we celebrate in December
Is the birth of the Christ, deep in the night
And the angels sing out the glad news;
Today and tomorrow, the birth of God’s morrow
Is good news for the whole year through
So celebrate this honest truth by wishing to all,
Christ’s Birthday greetings around the world.
Let every thing that hath breathe Praise the Lord

Keep watching and waiting and praying pushing wrestling is like when we
work hard pushing our fears aside may weep may cry may stumble may fall down get up and push the wrestling match conclusions you win !
But the battle you only have to endure to the end!
And rest and rest for pure joy breathing in the breath of life
For the battle is the Lords Who is this King the Lord mighty in battle He is the King of kings Lord of lords the King of Glory that is who he is The wrestling match is from the birth and to the death begun at the birth canal door push push push you push harder push push even men must push out the seed of life to us the women the man and all must or will push the seed of what God
pushed in them to us .We wrestlers are resting on the battlefield were the all of the battles have a beginning and its ending we rest relaxed and content all is
well! Thanks!
We are simply, two complicated people, deeply in love.
Afraid to touch skin, fearful of the cut,
that pours out the sins and chokes the heart until it’s done.
We are strangers, who have never once, won.
Forcefully different, underneath the sun,
both so lonely, tired, on the run,
from a scary world and sadly everyone.
We are one, in pain, looking for home.
United not by misery, but by hope,
simply trying to find a way to cope.
I think of you each night,
when angels come at dark,
violent, out of sight, ready to ascend me by my throat.
Your beautiful heart, along the way, it broke.
We were both lost in dreams and then we woke,
but my dearest, only, eternal love,
I am poet, writing your peace in every stroke.
We, peek inside each other’s minds,
trying to find a sign to turn the tides.
Just know, I’m here to take your hand,
as long as it takes, I’ll be there to help you stand.
I’ll squeeze my lips,
push out all the air inside my lungs.
Form the chaos within my winds
and push the sea, to wet your feet.
Teardrops falling into place,
will bloom the garden that we chase.
And every single day we face,
will build up to the seconds, you are in my embrace.
So come on, let it all out,
let your rivers float and come my route.
Let your pain sink deep into my skin.
Let your soul be light. Let your lips form a grin.
My crownless, fearless, queen,
I fall before your alter, thin.
My knees have carved the rock beneath,
I, sick of days and cold within.
I am at your service, here to make this world seem,
as close to home, where you’ve once been,
the Kingdom high above our agonizing sins,
where you were drawn by a nameless King.
I can sense your sorrow, world’s away,
you, tired of surviving, the games we play.
I am no longer running, I am here to stay,
take deep breaths, then walk my way.
Better days, are coming.
Everything will be alright.
As long as there is light
and I have life.
Mirror, Mirror
I look at the clear glass in front of me framed with decorative carvings
Back at me stares a pair of somber eyes
With those eyes I see the fiery abyss of my left chest cavity in the reflection
Clank clank the sound it makes as it pings against my rib cage pushing to break free
clank , clank
My heart clanks on as my large breasts protrude from my wide middle
I look in the glass to see the fellow faces of my peers staring and smirking at me
I look to see the harsh angered face of my mother and her ridicule pouring from her mouth
I look to see my long nose and my damaged hair that lay upon my skull
I look to see a girl no longer a girl but an ugly shell holding in a dangerous beast
I walk through the musty gum ridden hallways of my jail to see exuberant eyes and pearly white enamel exposed
As I walk I see those exuberant eyes glance towards the shell of my body but merily they trudge on
I sit down in my hard plastic chair and listen to my friend make jokes about me and I just pretend i’m fine
I stare back at their gorgeous innocent face and I push out a laugh forced by the metallic clank of my heart
I feel the palm of my moist hand and stab it with a blade and pretend it is hades himself
I hear the demanding voice of my tyrant beckoning for me and I jab hades into my wrist and watch in joy as the blood pours out
I feel as though my heart is locked in a cage like a tiger never to be seen again
I feel like a servant to god making motions with my shell but my innards do not follow
I feel as though life hands me fire but everybody else sugar
Day in day out threatened by the tiger in my rib cage waiting to escape like houdini
Day in day out pretending I am fine
Day in day out until the blood pores from my wrist
Until the metallic clank of the tiger beating against the cage dies away and with it the shell of my body as my demon floats up to hell where it belongs
You already know what we are and what we do,
But will have a greater appreciation by the time I am through.
Though it is been said before, it must be said again
To you, who might be a player or might be a fan.
To you, who are young. To you, who are old.
To you, who are meek. To you, who are bold.
To you, who are near. And, to you, who are far.
To you, who need to be reminded of who we are.
With the words that we speak, we provide the shapeless with form.
We replace old quotes with new ones, and make them the norm.
We create the images that need to be created.
We debate the topics that need to be debated.
We endure the pain, as we labor to push out our thoughts.
We endure the darkness, where ever enlightenment is sought.
We teach the men how to talk to their lovers,
So that she knows that there is no one else above her.
We are the wonderful, the warm, the witty, and the wise.
We captivate your hearts through your ears and your eyes.
We are with you, when you are having your quiet time.
We relax your soul, with a simple rhyme.
We stand next to you, when you are in the crowd;
When you want nothing more than to let loose and be loud.
We make you dance, because we inspire the song.
We live to write, so we can do no wrong.
We are not Mathematicians, who only deal in absolutes,
Nor are we Politicians, whose words have no roots.
We are not Scientist, so our methods do not have to be tested.
We are not criminals, so our art form does not have to be arrested.
We can not be censored, since we can not be controlled.
And, when you take what is ours, we will not be consoled.
Our words have heart, and we are proud to show it.
We are lovers! We are fighters! WE ARE POETS!
The strength of a woman should not be taken for granted
Nor should it be misunderstood
It is not that she can't, for she has proven she could
The woman is uplifted by the compliments spoken
Yet torn from deceit of her heart being broken
The hurt of a woman lies within, hides within, cries within
Her smile comforts her pain
As she chose never to run away from the rain
From your stupidity, you try your best to bring her down
And now her uncertainty is shown through a frown
Shake it off, are you serious? Don't ever stoop that low
Of allowing that man control of removing your smile and glow
The strength of a woman is revealed from one who fell down
Was pushed down, knocked down, yet did not stay down
Now she began to look up, get up, climb up, stand up, and stay up
The strength of a woman, don't try to understand
Just know the power of a woman cannot be taken by man
Her future holds many possibilities that are fitted like a cap
She knows her destination without a navigation system or map
She is now the astronaut, the lawyer, the CEO and the cook
Her life is observed by many for she has written her own book
The strength of a woman to push out a life and pull a heavy load
Are some of the many stories of her journey to be told
Who is this woman that she can choose
To pick from her closet different types of shoes
Yes, 3 inch heels, they hold it all
All the weight and burdens she carries when she stands tall
Through persistence, perseverance and determination
She was able to overcome, the outcome, with little income
Which shows just how she has BECOME the woman of strength
The strength of a woman should not be taken for granted
Nor should it be misunderstood
It is not that she can't, for she has proven she could
The woman is uplifted by the compliments spoken

The very moment when our worlds met
Our longing for simpler days found rest.
We were two lost travelers knowing the way home
Without saying a word.
The thrum of the bodhran,
Before, almost silent and forgotten,
Pulsed louder, and our smiles danced for each other.
Thunder burst from my chest into yours.
With blinding lightning from your hazel eyes,
The fire in your heart consumed us both
And I was happy to die with you in my arms those nights.
My heart cried in the soothing rain of your beautiful songs,
Calling my very soul to yours.
We smiled in the cool breeze of our shared laughter
Tightly tangled vines reached out from your past
And wound into the memories of shared scars.
Howling like youth in the music of our younger days
We flew through fields of wine, shedding inhibitions.
Painted alone in crowds of bystanders while
Losing ourselves like curious animals.
In silent pillow gazes we had finally come home,
Wondering if our reflection in each other was real.
In each other’s eyes we walked fresh thin paths
And made love in sacred gardens.
Knowing that if it wasn't for our good sense
We would end up in Love.
Reserving only the feelings that we knew were irreversible,
Holding back was our only regret.
Half of my body, my life, and all of my love left with you.
The pain of our last moment together took my breath.
We left each other with only a promise
To hold at night
Until we can be together again.
It won't be long,
It had already been forever.
Then once again these ghost
s that push out of my chest
Will find rest and calm,
And we will sleep again,
As one,
In perfect sunlight.
Poetry is the galaxy, it goes as far as the eye can see.
It’s fantastic to gaze the universe, no matter where you be.
There’s radiant stars, infinite planets, wormholes and satellites. . So put your eye up to a telescope and peer into the nights.
Poetry is a hemroid and creativity is the medicated cream.
If you coat it generously there’d be no need to scream.
It’s important to let it breath a bit and always give it care.
Because if you neglect it, it’ll really sting down there.
Poetry is flatulence and everyone gets gas.
If you push out hard enough you’ll get quite a blast.
Some can make you laugh and some can make you cry.
There are some you may never hear because they’re way too shy.
Poetry is feces and this might sound absurd.
But you can tell a lot about someone if you picked apart their turd.
There’s many colors, different textures and the corny one’s are neat.
You can customize what comes out, just depends on what you eat.
Poetry is a key that opens a specific door.
Allowing you to step inside so you can explore.
Each person has a key made to fit a certain lock.
You should keep it with you instead of underneath a rock.
