There’s Nothing Like a Good War
There’s nothing like a good war.
I watched a video of men killing men
Rapid fire, rapid death, rapid fear
When will we ever learn? Never?
It’s in our DNA and used against us
Goad a man, tell him his country needs him
Tell him, to go kill the villagers
Tell him, they deserve it. His gun needs
To by fired, it’s bullets like him are
Expendable, always more to take their place.
Nothing like a good war, a noble cause
Which has God firmly on its side
Thought up by a presidential psycho
On his yacht on a Sunday morning
While a calm sea and fresh breeze
Tickles the blond call girl’s hair.
A moment of boredom and an
Unprovoked attack takes shape.
A couple of weeks of genocide
Watched by a paid audience
Eating from the same trough
Wishing they’d thought of it first
No, there’s nothing like a good war
A gentle genocide, a worthy cause
A mother tells her son, fight or you’ll
Go to prison, certain death is much better
She gets his boots, ten quid and a
Medal. He gets eternity. Nothing like
A good war?

Hello Friends... I suffer from Severe Bi-Polar Disorder and this submission was inspired by
actual events that occured during one of my especially critical manic episodes. Be sure and
read Part 2 to complete the poem and leave your comments on the Part 2 submission. Thank
you for allowing me to share my pain for pain shared is pain diminished
Me, Myself, and I...
“There are things that concern us,”
Consensed my “Selves” in earnest
““We” fear that “I” have succumbed to delusion”
“And after careful deliberation
It is with much hesitation
That we choose to delineate upon this confusion”
“Fact is your intuition
Is riddled with superstition
And your judgment leaves much to be desired”
“So you leave us no recourse
Don’t push us to use force”
It is then that the “I” was summarily fired
I exclaimed “By whose authority?” Response, “Rule of majority”
“The “Myself” and the “Me,” (forthwith the “We”), are experts in our field”
“And with much technique and time
And some forays into the sublime
The nature of your malady will be revealed”
“So to keep yourself from having a fit
Step back and just calm down a bit”
“We,” they said, “certainly have this under control”
“We swear this won’t hurt at all”
Then I felt my inhibitions fall
Still I said a prayer to God that He keep my soul
You know, fact is I do feel off axis
As evidenced by such parapraxis
As this prose that I, (or is it “Us”), seek to pen
And with my mind feeling numb
I finally chose to succumb
And allow the “Me” and the “Myself” to begin
And then came questions in a flurry
Answer, answer and please do hurry
Not one moment of respite did they give
They pushed and they prodded
With every “T” crossed and “I” dotted
My mind felt like it had gone through a sieve
And all this psycho-analysis
Is causing my mind paralysis
The questions, can you stop with the questions please
“Yes, oh yes indeed
I do believe we have what we need
To make an attempt to identify your unknown neuroses”
So why clinical psychology?
What does that mean, anyway?
What is non-clinical psychology?
Does it mean analytical psychology,
which might mean analogical?
Which would mean ecological?
Which is really just plain logical?
So is it logical psycho-logic,
and wouldn't that be sort of redundant
because doesn't psycho-logy mean psycho-logic
and dissonant dislogic
neurosystemic win/win gratitude
through lose/lose despairing attitude?
So maybe clinical psychology is neuro consciousness
and unconsciousness
and subconsciousness
psycho-logic?
Which might mean the psychologics of healthy wokeness?
But, if this is a science
then the logic of a psychic paradigm
can be no better or worse,
I suppose,
than the rationality of the scientist?
So, does clinical psychology refer to a logical neuro-science
of positive consciousness
and negative unconsciousness?
And, if so, then why would anyone assume this could be systemically dissonant with ecological healthy
and economically unhealthy Earth-consciousness?
Why not ecological dynamics of our Interior Landscape?
Clinical psychology as deep listening
for ecological compassion
and inhumane capitalistic dispassion.
A goodbye happened before hello,
in some twisted loves, you just know.
I knew it was over before it even began,
suffocated by the calloused hands of a man.
I only saw your eyes in passing,
only one glimpse, and I knew they were worth having.
A goodbye was the very start,
the kind that ruins you in its poetic art.
I didn’t need to know your story.
I watched, noted the places you like to hang out,
you in all your glory.
I stalked for months, had all kinds of fun.
It’s a pity you didn’t when I told you to run.
I liked your bubbly charisma.
I played into it with charm.
You didn’t know all I wanted was to cause you harm.
I tricked you, said I knew your friend,
but when the lights went out, limp and alone,
you knew by the end.
I’m a psycho, a natural-born killer.
I’ve added you to my collection,
in which I’ve labelled thriller.
I said goodbye before hello.
You were pretty, a blonde,
and you didn’t even know.
people pushing boundaries all around me all through my life
Evil crushing down on me resoundingly causing me strife
One day I’ll strike and it will not be nice
Flip to survive and I’ll be cold as ice
When nothing good happens and nothing goes right, nobody’s loyal nobody’s on my side, I’ll be the extreme unreasonably mean, make people feel how I feel in me, I cared about people before, I don’t care anymore, I’d rather inflict pain and go all out at war, it drives me insane and I’m done for sure, psychological manipulation makes me over the top, if I flip out and lose it I will never stop, they turned a people person into the worst one, this person has become an evil version, liars get on my nerves when they lie at my expense and I let it go so I’m living life tense, what is the point in this life I’m living, people have taken all I have given, if I wasn’t so numb i know I’d be dangerous, the monster inside wants to entertain us, depression that numbs is the only weapon, if it wears off I’ll do more than just threaten, I’ll probably do things that I regret but the joy that they give I’ll never forget, two sides of me stuck in contradiction and I’m sick to death of this inner confliction where I should be good but no good comes to me, how am I supposed to keep my sanity, when I go psycho I’ll lose all control may god have mercy on this broken soul!
THIS IS A FANATSY POEM !!!!
In the still of the summer night,
The perfect poetess delighted in
hurting a fellow poetess?
Tis simply immoral and so not right!
This spinner of sonnets, loved by so
many,
Craved attention for herself alone,and
for others~ Not any!
Like the movie "Psycho"' out came her
her vengeful,peacock- colored sharp quill.
Murmuring in anger, " I will do her in~
I will, I will!"
Set herself down then, with a glass of wine.
Long hair' shining in the God's moonlight, saying:
"Nobody dare think thoughts any other than mine!"
God forgive us, then, if we dare attempt to drag
people down!
Her vicious comment completed,that scary
laughter~a mix of both witch, and circus clown.
Poetry soup is not wrestle mania, people!
Not one of us is God, and she was amply
forgiven, indeed by the one she hurt,
Under a summer, starlit, silver steeple!

for 13 years you slandered me
i slid a slide to suicide
the nasty things you brand on me
changing my whole flipping life
a psychopath with evil intentions
covering up all looking eyes
I'm psycho too with lethal injections
gifting vision seeing lies
silenced me but now I rise
talk your talk The Pheo-Nicks flies
violence stored about to fly
truth will stalk you til you die
abusing power, that's not nice
I even warned and gave advice
told stop or we'll go twice
redundant minds don't realise
they will be served their own slice
laughing at my sorrowed cries
continuing to spread your lies
no let up and no demise
waking up a demon guy
never gone until I die
you were nasty now I'm sly
“Autumn leaves don’t fall; they fly. They take their time and wander on this, their only chance to soar.” Owens, Delia.
Its solemn swaying into this world isn't a fall,
From the ever-season-shifting earth, it's a call;
Yearning, seeking, searching for liberty within,
Cut from the umbilical code of fear; to win;
Flying, floating, freezing, fizzing, fleeing, freeing,
To go beyond settled foundations, far-seeing...!
The autumn leaf though happy with the gaudy ground,
Does it stay on, as a household slave, freedom bound?
Crawling, creeping, moving, merrying, flying far;
Movement, like the time, the leaf says, has no time bar;
Sometimes slow; sometimes fast; sometimes in mild tempo,
Often, it moves in breeze-race-bustle-like fair flow...!
Does the autumn leaf feel anger against the tree,
That cut it from his sap-filled trunk and let it flee?
Is it disgusted at the grim weather around,
Or the zeitgeist, for his existence, not so sound?
Does it feel frightened of the thistly bristly thorns,
That would pierce its heart and would yearn to hear its mourns...?
The leaf has made the act of flying its mission,
To link with leaves of the same vision ignition;
Flying beyond all feelings of joy and sadness,
Puzzles and riddles and reach zeniths of gladness;
As it knows this would be the only given chance,
Before it reaches its psycho-physical trance...!
Isn't an autumn leaf like a thirsty human soul,
That has taken its flight from the absolute whole?
Moving, merging, shifting, stirring midst silent stroll,
Comprehending incomprehensible bliss pole!
Pushed, pulled, torn, flown, thrown into many a chuckhole,
Attains, ultimately, its unending sole goal...!

Alone, I fled from the city that night-
escaping problems that kept me awake-
to a lodge by the seashore- where an old
eerie boardwalk creaks near the white sand beach.
To unwind the stress that city life caused,
I settled in peace with something to drink.
The label, I hide on the wine bottle-
denying this habit I need to break.
Sabbatical dreams after quarantine-
woke me in the morning- with such a fright!
I dreamt a black cat attacked me in bed-
and I screamed as witches flew through the air.
Blood on my blanket, black fur strewed about-
enormous green witch eyes glaring at me!
"Calm down now- our dearie, it's not a dream!"
They told me of the psycho cat's demise!
Horns honking and sirens woke me for sure-
a normal weekday with clear skies and sun,
in this city, my home- glad to be here!
My scary night- just a dream in a dream!

Rules: Need to incorporate lines shown
in bold- supplied by the sponsor.
Each line must be 10 syllables.
Love made me do the unexpected things.
Blood is shattered
all over the place
filled with my deepest desires that you'd love me forever which I always wanted.
Although the walls keep
closing in.tears from your silence absence
The sounds echoes in my ears
whispering,you're still here,
hiding in a corner,
watching me in pain,
deep down inside,
you know I need help
because guilt of mental heath has havoc inside of me
knowing one day, I would
happily close my eye.
play some music,
everyone, including the
walls, my soul and me
goes into deep silence,
Feeling as will there always
be pain, The frustration
fades away for a second
dance with my shadow,thinking if
only I open my eyes and our home is back
with love, the good old times are back,
but we're aware of the fact
this isn't real, just a dream,
as everyone else dreams when their eyes closed.
but the only one
who took my heart was you
our promise was meant for lifetime I
felt God didn't trusted me. So in a deep slumber he showed me,that who was so damn special
promise was meant for
lifetime,I have to learn that the dark past is behind me. we always used to be happy we always used to talk ,
never ever stop,
ironically I'm still crazy with a long way to go. The main things is i love you,and I know you love me .
