i step outside of myself,
into a world, a world where everything around me is nothing,
and the only true thing that still stands left is my one true God,
what is real,
what is fake,
i abide in love for his names sake,
my eyes are shattered,
and my vision blurred,
only parts of my spirit here on earth to be stirred,
i cannot grasp the immense enormity of my master,
still i love, still i hurt, to know more,
the depth of his love, marked in stone, i am sure,
my own way is not his way,
in solitude and in prayer with him at the end of my day,
as busyness and chaos take up my time,
thoughts of unwanted circumstance fills my mind,
i must release,
i must unfold,
here, everything on earth is nothing when it comes to my soul,
my love for you, Lord, is truly what matters,
through fears and tribulations, or when life seems shattered,
there is a private joy,
a very private real God,
who swoops me up into his arms, when life gets too hard,
as i loose focus for a moment, he gently embraces me,
what feels real here on earth is only what our eyes choose to see,
some pages are still emptly, he said, let me write in your book,
for there will be no need to search, there will be no need to look,
my god accomplishes the impossible,
using pain to bring me healing,
allowing rejection to restore my acceptance,
i cannot understand such irony, while the lord writes the script of this play,
his words fill my spirit, and he'll instruct me what to say,
so i sit back and observe with an open heart,
for god knows my charactor, and he plays the main part,
this part, this love that will never cease to die,
the greatest love of my heart,
the greatest man of my life

the Priest sucked in his Four Star Brandy
hoping that a drunken release
would help him with his conflict
in an alcoholic sleep of peace
the alky swigged his cider
vintage cheap and strong
the crutch to his addiction
making existence crawl along
from separate drunken corners
each in his own private hell
they were taken by the police
to share the same dingy cell
one having achieved the sought
but only temporary relief
from the stress and the doubt
in the strength of his belief
the other just existing
in his world of sleeping rough
which achieved a sort of stability
if he could only drink enough
one was given a caution
for any man can once fall
the other was jailed
with no sympathy at all
one preached from his pulpit
about the dangers of a hell
as the other spent that Sunday
Morning slopping out his cell.
in this world of contradictions
preconceptions can hold sway
as the alky and the priest were each
assessed in society’s preconditioned way
and the Charity collector
stood and shook his tin
pleased by the growing weight
as the passers slid coinage in
a cheap way to ease a conscience
that really didn’t give a damn
about the stresses and strains suffered
in this strangely unequal world of Man
...It seems that all their ‘solutions’
are made to diminish mankind,
to make life harder in a world
that at it’s best seems sometimes malign.
They want us to starve in darkness,
they want us to freeze in a cave,
openly speak of reducing
the population in some way.
A blatant anti-human strain,
some of them go so far to think
the world would be a better place
if human beings went extinct!
To think that all humans can do
can be so simply thrown away,
for animals that kill and hunt
with no difference from day to day.
What darkness lies without a soul
to think of their own kind like this?
what emptiness they seek to fill
with this pseudo-religious sh-t?
Or is it that those people claim
to be some sort of an elite?
They want to keep the ‘peasants’ down,
relative status they all seek,
since it’s never the rich hippies
who live by the rules that they set,
they tell us to suffer while they
fly to conferences on private jets!
Not the actions of believers,
in truth it’s the action of those
who don’t want you to climb up to
the positions to which they rose.
So they take cars, take you house,
badger you to give up your meat,
tell you it’s bad to have children,
claim that it’s a moral belief,
to force you all to live a life
that’s poorer, more hungry, and short,
to feel greater they’ll say, “For Earth
it may be better to abort!”
All this nonsense is no required
to make smart conservation work,
they are no greens, they’re misanthropes,
and they just want to make you hurt.
The Jester, aged in voice and hand and face,
His life spent in trying to entertain
The King and Queen, relying on their grace
For every earthly comfort he would gain.
Now old and weak, unable to perform,
And quite uncertain in where he might go
To live out his life safe from every storm,
But fearing all ahead of him is woe…
“Has all I have done, my King, pleased you not?
My every heartfelt song and silly jest
Was made in all my life with just one thought…
To please you, Lord, and do my very best.”
The King looked down - the Jester thought he’d faint –
And asked him, “Sir, just what is your complaint?”
The King spoke on, explaining in detail
All that the performer was awarded:
Protection, food, and a home for the frail
Jester that might have been unreported.
At the King’s own table he had a place,
And food aplenty to stem his hunger.
With safety always in his private space
From every threat to pull him asunder…
“What more could I offer? What more to give?
Yes, friendship as well, was offered to you.
Many might wish for a life so well lived
As the one that you unconsciously knew.”
“Forgive me, my Lord,” the Jester then said.
“I felt with my heart, not thought with my head.”
“Forgetting my place, so small in your court,
Was privileged beyond what most men might dream.
To live out a life knowing your support
And attain just a bit of your esteem
Should surely be enough for me, my King.
Again, please forgive my ingratitude.
For each tale I tell and each song I sing
Is often by my own thought devalued.”
The King, with affection and great respect,
Upon his life-long companion, looked down.
He said, “Forgive me. I often neglect
My friend, who portrays himself as a clown.”
And thus, old friendships can flourish and grow
When learning of love that we may not know.
The Duality of Man
Black and blue.
False or true.
Heaven or Hell?
Me or you?
Life or death?
Loud or mute.
Do we keep our eyes closed?
Or do we see a way through?
Hot or cold?
Tea or chocolate?
Coca Cola = Subconscious adverts.
Roll the dice and place your bets!
Be alone all the time,
Or name a pet.
Do what you like,
Or what you are told.
Do you love Him? Or Her?
Decide before you are too old.
Be one of the common people,
Or break the mold.
Make your own choices.
Do you stay or do you go?
Work for the state (of mind), if you have the time.
Remain independent, or change your mind.
The NHS is the best!
You could choose private.
Pick up a gun or a pen…
Grow up or remain a kid.
Life is about choices, so I choose life.
Life is too short to be worrying about time.
Reinvent yourself as many times as you like.
With every day there is a new age,
So why not smile,
Instead of cry.

You are lying--full of crap
Your mouth is a big dirty trap
Nothing ever comes out true
What did I ever do to you
For you to bad mouth me around'
To my family, friends and town
I don't know why your so mean
Causing such a horrid scene
The commotion you are sending
Should be stopped--soon it is ending
You and me--a private place
So I can scream right in your face
No one around to see me shout
My evil side is coming out
I don't want to be this way
My kindness you are making stray
From inside a gentle girl
But your're wrecking my whole world
Now I have to be untrue
To myself--yelling at you
Words of pure obsecenity
You would not normally see
Me saying but I just can't
Stop this raging inside rant
You seem to be a little scared
I don't think you were prepared
To see my red fury eyes
Burning you back down to size
Next time you will think before
You call me a cheating wh--re
A seismic surge is gathering pace, propelling a wave
Of multi faces many creeds, diverse street cred.
From public also of private ed' facets shimmer
Thoughts Intense myriad humankind immense.'
Mainstream channels pour out scorn, early morning
To midday lies take form, pushing into night time TV
And radio, dangerous anti-vaxers rabid foes..'
Yet when the millions gather wherever? One fact is so '
But You'll hear it from them never ! No all points bulletin
On the crazy folk that have escaped those penitentiary yokes
Or from their social workers..' I find it so scary.)
Cause this means the protesters (must be sane.')
If You'd consider if fairly.? And in the main !
What joy
What comfort
To find a comfy niche
Where kindred spirits abound
Where we are encouraged to be ourselves
And delight in others showing their true colors
How profound it is to connect on that human level
Sharing opportunities to appreciate each other’s journeys
With tendered words, views, passions, dreams and aspirations
Life obstacles and vulnerabilities divulged with open heart
Allowing others to touch us in so many ways
Inviting them into our private bubble
Where some so easily click
Like long lost friends
Forever leave
Their mark
To one such friend
I need pay tribute
He’s an artist on my path
No doubt to feed my motivation
He gives praise
Like it’s free candy
He’s a humble goodhearted poet
Direct and won't play games
He couldn't be a politician
It would surely kill him
All I have to say is how I have
Tremendous respect for him
And everything he stand for

You arrive with little or no notice,
on the well-worn path to my door,
sometimes sending a private messenger
to forewarn your arrival.
Creativity ceases in your presence
when strength is sucked
from the well of thought.
Demands, that cannot be met,
are made in your name.
Productivity ceases.
Anger attempts intervention
but fails like a voice
that cannot be heard.
Tolerance offers her support
and is embraced for a time,
but wears out like an old sleeve.
When health fails and I leave this place
you will find me no more.
Birds will sing when
weeds cover the dusty path.
I opened my eyes, I was standing on the Shuffleboard deck; talking with my new "Dad"
Mr. Adams. On the main deck a few feet below, my Bride, my Life. my Beautiful Wife; Lenore stood by the railing of the deck. She sent me a seductive covert wink that made my loin twitch.
