Premium Member Eastern Flight 401

who is that strange pilot? Why is he not in the cockpit?
Naomi tried to stifle her six-year-old son’s shrill voice
although psychic herself, she did not broadcast it in ‘72
he keeps fading away, Tommy said. what is happening?
an older woman in the next seat smiled at mother and son.

Naomi wondered if this was a premonition
eastern flight 401 had gone down in the Everglades two months ago
a hundred and one people had lost their lives
seventy-five survivors had back, neck, leg, spine injuries.
were they on a flight to nowhere? She patted her son’s hand.

the ghost sightings had begun
on flights of LockleedL-1011-1 Tristars with salvaged parts
parts retrieved from the Everglades, after the crash
Naomi and Tommy were on one of these flights

Naomi’s husband Bud and his friend Ray had been frog-gigging
they saw the crash as it happened
began shuffling people out
saved all of the people who had been saved

the spirit of a flight attendant came to Naomi
your husband is a hero, she said
we will make sure you reach your destination safely
Naomi felt reassured, her spirit guides were never wrong ..

eastern airlines warned their employees to stop spreading rumors
there are no ghosts from the 401, they were told
you will be fired if you spread these tales
but they did remove all 401’s salvaged parts from the other planes.

raven of the marsh sounded the alarm
mystic named Marilee listened carefully
first the bull frogs, then the spiders, now this
three signs in three days; mischief was afoot
spirit was in the air, Marilee strived to identify it
A chill pierced her soul; she felt threatened
this was not a spirit guide she knew or a loving ancestor

Clairsentient, she sensed lilac and an ironed linen
an old-fashioned entity, possibly female, but maybe not
you do not know me, the spirit told her
this message entered Marilee’s mind
her neck hairs stood up on edge
the air was heavy; she took a step
the entity followed her

what do you want? She asked
not with words, but in her mind
the lack of answer shook her a bit
the sky was filled with grayscale fuzziness
the woods felt ominous tonight
Marilee walked toward her garden
she had a strong feeling turkey buzzards would be here by morning

Premium Member A Domenating World

Sometimes in life we just exist
A changed soul thirsty for survival
A Domenating World to its own delusion
Dream of reality or illusional deception
What is the heart we live but life
A hatred feel where good exist even so
Zealous being to freedom but with price
Greed of mankind's tales,a slave to every race
A Domenating World falling to truth of God
Revelation,not just a premonition foreseen
But the change of man, even to woman they are

Right from wrong, they call this America?
Soldiers die for freedom, you oppose dictators
Riot's, killings, destruction of mankind prints
A world, not even new generation make effort
A Domenating World, one which we close our eyes
As it falls to sin and constitution's change
The people, wild at the calf's feet
The pleasure of life taken their soul
Their heart's as corrupted as their mind
A Domenating World,a fight to extinction

                                     Dedications
Led on to these crossroads of decisions
From lessons learned in pain and strife
From many up and down hills in this life
                                    Now it’s time
                                    Wisely choose

                                    With blind faith
                                    And to believe
                                    From thy depth
                                    Of my own soul

NOTE::THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' (intuitive cadence)& so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

The morning after

Is there any reality to ?, or is it just another Dream ?
Four AM, and again, I am awoken by a dream,
That dream tells a story, is that story a truth ?,
- a truth that came to light Valentines night –
as I came to visit you – your girlfriend is there –
our exchange of words are brief – you want to leave –
you walk out your door – your friend and I remain
behind – your decision – your friend begins to tell me
you are involved, in fact have been for a long time,
- I am nothing more than a filler for your empty hours –
then I awake with a pain in my heart and a knowledge of.
What ?, a premonition !

Monika :

Four AM, pen in hand, words begin to flow.
They speak of a beautiful Lady, I would love to know !
My heart ache, bleeds, - it is my desire for her – it doth show,
in a million tear drops that run wild through my veins
until the knowledge of, is absorbed and all that remains
are the memories, the moments ( good or sad ) of the pains
I have had to endure – your words “ be patent ”, “ be this ”,
“ do that ” – the implications ? – the dream is realized.
In all honesty Monika, - I thank – never from you will I
come to know your compassion, your passion, a closeness,
nor affection, love and desire – the things I desire to give,
to receive – or anything I wish to experience, to know.
I feel that I mean nothing more to you than the gift
- of Christmas Love ( those black and red lover entwined ).
A block of wood carved into – intimate – lovers twisted
around each other’s souls in a passionate kiss,
a sculpture that you saw as a musical symbol (Treble clef )
An item left on a shelf. looked at but never toughed.
As always – I am conflicted – living with uncertainties,
living in doubt of where I stand and what I mean to you.

Premium Member Our end did not come unannounced

Our end did not come unannounced,
I had a premonition when you started to slip away
Into the quiet distances, choking off any possible growth.
Ours had been a game, a waltz where missteps spoke their part,
My great sorrow was the pain, not letting me lose you, though you were gone.
In your eyes, I saw the despair speaking bluntly to your face,
Your voice always telling me how much space you desired,
I knew that leaving was your final act,
But the chaos within me would not let me accept the truth
That all our reconciliations, after fierce fights, were but a mere abduction.
And yet I realized you were only a habit,
Painful to say, but so true and raw,
My hopes clashed with the foolish thought
That someone like you could ever be reclaimed.
But the more I entangled myself in the web of empty promises,
The deeper I fell into the trap, lost in these wandering rhythms.
Your hollow promises, "I can't live without you,"
And nights spent crying like a child rendered me immovable,
No, they were no longer worth even an hour of endless time.
Now silence wraps around me like a final, secure blanket,
Freed from seeing you in the dawns that seek and chase me.
And like a bird from its cage, I fly towards unknown skies,
Leaving behind the smoke of a love that took everything from me but also taught me
That some paths are not meant to be followed, and some destinies – not to be bound.

Awake in the moment

For Constance's Contest
Write sixteen beautiful lines
05/13/2025

The moment I cast all indecision
to subsist in peace without suspicion
The moment I shed all premonition
And wake up in truth without persuasion

The moment I find in introspection
A silent blessing on strong foundation
The moment I face realization
And join in light and life’s celebration

The moment I rise in still elation
Above the anguish of life’s commotion
The moment I feel the inspiration
Of true love beyond imagination

The moment I bask in admiration
And meekly kneel in great devotion
The moment I exult in God’s creation
Then my soul awakens to salvation

White Vaporous Dust

White vapors appear as pollution sized continents reside in our open waters.

Men are missing more teeth than technology has to offer.

Beggars are asking for cigarettes and demanding five dollars.

Cars are so many and trashed, and then wasted.

Dry eyes rub off dead skin to become ashes exhausting a terminal dust.

Addiction is drugged cellular phones that obscenities are advertised in the down facing eyes focused on the palm of your hand.

The trend catches up quick as sleep becomes utterly lost in your conception of time.

Coincidences become too many to look the other way.

The parade of paranoia is just a long lost dust in the winds of our lives.

I even have found myself spelling in numbers, only to discover an ancient text depicting the end of mankind.

Described in admirable fashion, the words flew off the screen and premonition landed spot on; striking nerves within me.

As epiphanic realizations connected many dots of my personal life encounters . . .

Later that same day, white vapors once seen spirited, then became tangible as an exhalation of white dust left little doubt in the powerful truth of the contents read in this context.

Practically insane, driven by intentional insomnia, paranoia paralyzed my entire being as prophesy and reality became forever linked—bound by a common thread—collecting the same amount of time and ultimately each plagued, polluted and diminished in white vaporous dust.
