My Home Sits Where?

       Big subdivision.
       New houses on ground.
       Sitting, just plonked there
       with nothing around.

       So close together.
       How could they cry?
       Without the neighbours
       wondering why?

       It happened before.
       On our paddock too.
       Homes for others,
       all shiny and new.

       Some might think,
       About times before,
       When sun hit the ground
       and rain too and more.

       The falling of trees
       and planting of crops,
       The sticks and leaf litter
       no longer on top.

The house that I grew in
       once wasn’t there,
       but I don’t think
       that I was aware.

       The kitchen, my bedroom
       had always been there.

       Hadn’t they?

Whispers, Moment By Moment

An abiding trust in God, just what we need
to bury selfish doubt in its barren tract;
prayer - the planting and compost for hope's seed.

A simple plea, "Help me, God!" starts the contact
between us and God whose angels stand close by
braced to intervene, buttressing every act.

To every whisper, answers He does supply.
If we get it - our Father knows what is best -
we’ll say, “Thank You, God!” his will to glorify.

All throughout the day, calm words of praise and quest
for guidance from Him, “What should I say and do?”
will honor Him, when we confess, "God has blessed."

Prayer - conversation between God and you,
heart-felt fellowship that never says, “Adieu”.

Musing Inspiration

As quill tip touched
a fibrous page,
wormholes opened
to a neon age

With each stroke passing
and performing a word,
the smallest of sighs
could just be heard

My muse was sitting
somewhere near,
whispering softly
so that no one hears

Vibrating thoughts
in saffron lines,
her hands weave the air
and flow rhythm divine

This creature of thoughts
roams the world,
looking to inspire
and to be heard

Mixing up potions
of master works,
painting a picture
of horse riding Turks

Singing Cantata’s
to composers at birth,
molding life sculptures
in minds made of earth

Shes written folklore
in the bright of a star,
and painted a smile
that salutes a Czar

She inspires the hopeless
to live out their dreams,
giving the soul less
a spirit that gleams

Invoking the greats
from ages past,
giving her ideas
and planting a last

Fantastic the journeys
she has gifted me,
now I write with my heart
so that she may fly free

What a Tragedy- Christen Kuikoua

OF What Importance Is Money
In a Disastrous World,
What is the point of being rich?
to live all lonely and be sad
What is the point of building a mansion?
to show Power & Wealth while your life is a misery
What is the point of having a million cars?
if you can drive one at a time
Why is the point of using social media?
counting your likes & views
why you lack personality and confidence
always in need of human approval
to know your perfect the way you are

As you ask yourself this question:
You become to question life
Why are the rich the most miserable?
Not to be rude, but it looks like a fact
Why has money taken away dignity?
Why has corruption taken away righteousness?
Has our world fallen
Or is it the fruit of ignorance?
we kill for money & betray for couple of coins
We have become judas,
for a couple of coins, betray Jesus

What education do you teach us children?
what roots are you planting in us?
The roots of corruption and trickery
I get it. You got bills to pay,
but is worth the sacrifice.
is the bills more important
than the generation you’re living behind?
if you say yes then,
my prayer for you is let your eyes be open

Because I am sick and tire
Tire of seeing children’s life destroy
due to the mistake committed by their parents
Tire because wealth has removed joy from homes
Tire because our self approval
has to come from
the likes we get on Instagram or Twitter
Tire because our new love is corruption,
Spreading rumors is now our hobbies
yeah, that the new world we live in,
where money can buy love

What a tragedy,
humanity’s progression & over knowing
has caused some of us more pain than good
It led us to lose our senses
Oh, my soul weeps & grieve
But scream to see the new rising ray
that will shine like a million sun

The Milestone

The bay and titian milestone
calls the universe
On everything we have to remember
2019 we met in joy
Raw in our hearts
We gathered in love
Humble without pride
We spoke in a voice
They called us golden ones
Oh yes! Golden ones.

After the last quarter
A strange duster appeared
And erased Gift out of the list
Many emotions were bitter
Just like me
That pended the elite Supper

Chronically, we arrived 2020
Which showed advances on arrival
The stretching chain started breaking
Everyone chose the birds they flocked with
Classic pride developed its wig
From the humble hearts
Everyone real colour start revealing
Like the rising sun in the morn.

Just a sudden
The world was attacked by Emperor'19
Everywhere was shut,
Everyone's lovers were distanced
Nations dropped like flies
Love, value and unity quenched
New fishes entered the friendship oceans of our comrades
In the pandemic period we experienced.

In 2021 we met again as earlier as expected
As there were different faces, such were different shoulders.
Everyone focused on its target
The class attendance dropped like a weighless scale.
Many break, many strike
Affect the 2021 journey.

Just like a flowing stream
The heaven sea journey to the left side
Gave the picture of the sun
Traveling from the North to West.
Days in, days out
There was not a single day without a memory
As we all gathered for the new 2022.

2022 was the year of planting fame
Many people worked to be recognized
The birds changed their groups
Everyone humbled again
Trying to move up a bit
As the result of the shock
From the previous exams.

'Just like yesterday
'I was a fresher
'Today I am an FYB'
That was everyone's comment
When we met ourselves
In the final level of the journey
In the 2022 summer months.

Despite the four years journey's metamorphosed
Into five years journey with hard stress
Joy crowned our hearts because everything is closer
We accepted to involve in the final stress
That has a short time
But so dismal, Lilly fell from the train
Almost at the bus stop.

Now on our table
We cheers to the love that we have got
Toast to the one that we lost on the way
The toast goes to every able that can read this;
And remember the memories we've been through
Which the bay and titian milestone
Has called us to remember.

656 The 1st Period of the Spanish Era of Philippine History: The Coming of Spaniards

656.

The 1st Period of the Spanish Era of Philippine History:

The Coming of Spaniards

By the Fall of Constantinople into Muslim hands

Christian Europe was prompted to traverse non-Christian lands

For God, Gold & Glory, they set sail across the high seas

They discovered the New World & explored the Indies

By Spanish patronage, a Portuguese named Magellan

Arrived in Samar, Homonhon & Masau in 1521

After planting the Christian Cross, he invaded Mactan in Cebu

But was killed there by our first hero named Lapu-Lapu

The Magellan Expedition proved the world to be round

That across the great oceans, new lands can be found

So Spain decided to send more expeditions to the Indies

To find more opportunities & make more colonies

And after the expeditions of Loaisa, Cabot, Saavedra & Villalobos

Came Legazpi to the said Islas Filipinas of the Indios

He was received in Samar, Leyte & Bohol with peace & amiability

He conquered Cebu, Panay & Manila with both hostility & diplomacy

This is the 1st Period of Spanish Era – The Coming of Spaniards

These white men from the West were like wonderful wizards

They astounded us with their gentle Cross & iron armor

God through them had brought the Philippines Jesus Christ our Savior.

When they come

They say we need their help.
They come in their numbers
preaching salvation,
while their own people sell their souls,
for the hope to keep living.

They offer hugs we receive with arms wide open,
and their fingers, long enough, pick from our pockets.
They take our people and our land
and are angered when we fight back.

They create the beginnings of our problems,
planting disaccord and distrust among us
as if they were seeds.

They stab us in the back
and put pressure on the wound
as if they were being helpful.

Now they come to my country,
taking pictures of the unfortunate
and handing out sweets we did not ask for.

And they bring along laws that speak of a peace,
we once knew in their absence.

A Seed Not Planted
Written: by Miracle Man
2-4-2020

Somewhere tucked away in each mind is a word left unspoken,
an action not taken, a seed that wasn’t planted;
A word that someone needed to hear at that moment.

We have let a time pass that possibly won’t return,
and no harvest is produced without a planting of seed.

A planted seed often hibernates within a person,
until, at some later date the Holy Spirit does it’s work.
While man plants, and man may water, God brings the harvest.

1 Corinthians 3:8 KJV
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

Celebration of Wind and Fire

Celebrate the unseen face of God’s eternal Spirit
 Embracing all before creating light;
Action word of the eternal dance
 Hovering over the chaotic genesis of creation;
Leading exiles out of exile through empty seas with fiery pillars
 Feeding wanderers hungry for heavenly bread at dawn;
A living shadow pushing away the shadow of separation
 Planting salvation’s seed deep within the sanctuary of a young girl’s yes;
Wearing the face of a dove descending on the Word
 Leading anointed redemption into the empty desert place of prayer;
Driving wind and flames arriving on a festival morning
 When fearful souls stood up to speak the languages of the world gathered;
Raising up a new tower of adoration reaching Heaven’s ears
  Uniting with eternal words no longer babbling;
A fire, that never burns, burns through dust of days long past and now
 Still hovering, descending, overshadowing, and dancing;
A sacred nudge delighting in coincidence
 Filling up the thirst that gnaws for serendipity in surprises;
Inspiration birthed by the invisible hand of holy mischief
 Inviting ambivalent, wavering, steps to roads of rightness in quiet whispers;
Lowering mountains, preparing highways now made straight,
 For pilgrim’s feet gathering flowers in wild wastelands;
Caressing, prodding, in moments of a-ha ever evolving -
 Timeless mentor of universal innovation;
Handiwork of the restless holy leaping up in wild fire
 When old hearts dream dreams and young eyes see visions;
Laughing, dancing divine whimsy pirouetting through stars and galaxies
Never the same when touched by the Spirit dancing.

The Image of HIM

You can act as if HE isn't HIM
as if going against God isn't a sin
What's behind is something that isn't
seen by the blind but this is by design
What shines from above also illuminates
what is below
The dark seeds are seen for they grow
to produce fruit of their kind
The grind mills until what it brings forth
is brought to a point of rest
Still
Still the results continue to go unseen
until it pushes through & is viewed
amongst the green
Freeing its leaves only leads to its eventual
decay as one day everything returns
It burns like a flare stick ignited
signaling that all must bend a knee
as if being knighted
The fiery sword of truth being slighted
is a sight to behold
Even if it cuts down wicks like a candle
being blown it's never extinguished
Though I'm speaking English many still
won't understand like the exotic in nature
or species unknown to man
Extra on a terrestrial plane is more than
enough for those planting fake seeds
behind the scenes
Shinning isn't a threat but anything blocking
the Sun only brings darkness
This is a bleak attempt to harvest as it
feeds none in reality
The reality of this Picaso paints many
pictures at once
Can one brush really spill all the paint
making a picture of fronts?
Affronts are made to cover what's being
done in the shade but the artist
is like a tree
A breath of fresh air reciprocating so
that everyone can breathe
Don't leave before you overstand that
the sky is falling & we're all
within sight
The eyes & image of him is everywhere
like the moon shinning at night
