I awaken to the woodland scent
of a favored fragrant herb.
Its aroma transcends nocturnal bliss
and then softly seeks so gently to kiss
the distant lingerings in my mind.
Of a cherished place where I had laid
embraced warm in a lavender field
and was but long loved
by its strong perfumes
so fragrantly released.
Overfilling my heart
and infusing my mind
with all earthly bodily pleasures due
Its overwhelming possession of my sensibilities
its passions hence do hold my senses close
as an all encompassing lover
that it doth still now consume.
Its intoxicating signature fragrance,
like no other that hereby exists
The most vivid contemplation of Indigo,
that one could have ever seen
Infusing its heady oils upon my much younger memory
and an older and much sweeter tryst.
The palest shades of those lavender flowers remembered
each blossom a sweet sachet
Eternally to be engrained upon my mind
the heady confections of that day
to be forever missed.
The most complementary plumes of color,
that before I'd ever had met
Stretching toward the horizon's backdrop
a blanketed sea
a gently moving ream
A natural artistic composition of heady lavender
composed of surreal artistic color.
A palette holding court over the opposing values
and yet very complementary hues
of lovely, lovely lavendar
and wonderful planetary greens.
And if I ever were a bride to be,
I would desire to marry among the flowers
My sun kissed hair would be loosely worn,
its wildness framing my upturned face
In a field of the world's most ethereal scents,
a regal vison in colored lace showers,
Surrounded by a heaven
of millions of happily scented blooms.
In an outdoor cathedral of fragrant herbal spears
the lovliest of earthly rooms.
I would share my love,
of my beloved and with my beloved
for all whom by their presence cared.
I would unite with my love to be right there
I would unite with my love to be
for all to witness as I promise you forever
for all to witness our solemn vows
above a cloud of perpetual lavender
amongst the waves of those purple seas.
In Lavender and Lace
I would marry my love
I would marry my love to be.

Our state flag is light blue, we began statehood on November 16th, 1907 and we're the 46th
state in the nation. Our nickname is the Sooner state, our state motto is 'Labor Omnia Vincit'
Labor conquers all things. The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher's
is our lovely state bird, the mistletoe is our state flower.
The red bud is our state tree and we are known as okies
or Oklahomans. I love my state and we have long hot-
summers, short winters and the drought of the 1930's
known as the dust bowl was in our history. We have oil
drilling in our state as well and on April 19th, 1995 we
had tragedy in one of the deadliest terrorist attacks on
the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building killing 168
people. I love the prairies and the indigenous bison
I love the land I am from it is my pride and joy, I
am pleased to be an Oklahoman from the
gorgeous scenic land that I love.
This is Adey Square reporting live on Soup
Standing on John Hancock center to leap and loop;
Having stunning views in north central United States,
In a splendid state where you can’t find empty plates.
Illinois was once a plain filled with prairie grasses,
But all you can see now are buildings with gorgeous glasses;
On the west, it’s flanked by the mighty Mississippi river,
And on the northeast, you will find the lovely Lake Michigan.
It was gathered that Illinois’ balloon was blown by Lincoln,
No wonder the official state slogan is the Land of Lincoln;
This is evident as tourists throng the Lincoln’s tomb site
While some are visiting the Cahokia courthouse site.
Since Illinois entered the union in 1818 as the 21st state
She has got more glamor... now the fifth most populous state;
You will wonder as you walk down the city of Chicago,
The sporting fields in Springfield will never let you go.
The Chicago blues festival: a celebration of sights and sound
In a state where the world’s best blues performers can be found;
Taste of Chicago is around the corner, for those who love fun
All year round, there are festivals that will make you roll and run.
Illinois is peaceful, pleasant, poetic and politically powerful
It has produced politician and US presidents who’re purposeful
Both citizens and visitors are free to pray and play everyday;
For poets; you would love to visit the home of poet Vachel Lindsay.

I heard the song and wanted to know what love is, so I turned to James
The Soup's king of romance knows it means more than just flirtatious games
Dedication absorbed with love, for to feel it for the very first time
The unification of two must gel like words in a poetry rhyme
This, James told me, and we explored the meaning much further
Many types of love, including a child and father
Family life is important, reciprocation leads the way
Whether blood, fostered or taken on, it's loves bond that says
We see an elderly couple walking hand-in-hand
This is but one type of love that many years withstands
For so many fall by the wayside, taking different forks on life's roads
Where a previously blossomed love has journeyed into destructs corrode
The deep affection felt for those whom we call our friends
Nestles deep within our hearts, a bond that never ends
This we must truly cherish in a world going from day to day
It does not matter where we come from, we are part of earths bouquet
Love knows no bounds and is shared with all humanity
One that respects each race and religion’s dignity

I'd love to visit Holland
To wear those wooden shoes
Or maybe, down in Memphis
I'd learn to sing the blues
If I could learn the language
I'd love to visit France
I've heard it said that Paris
Is the place to find romance
I'd love to see Old Faithful
In Yellowstone National Park
Or maybe, climb Mt Ararat
In search of Noah's Ark
Maybe, I'll visit Ireland
And catch a leprechaun
I'd rob him of his pot of gold
Before the crack of dawn
I'd like to sail the seven seas
Just like Columbus did
Or maybe, visit Egypt
And explore a pyramid
I'd climb the Himalayas
With a sherpa as my guide
I may not catch a yeti
But, at least, I'll know I tried
Maybe, I'll visit England
I might even see the Queen
One day, I'll tell my grandkids
Of all the sights I've seen
Even if I see these things
Like India, Greece or Rome
I'll always love the place I live
For there's still no place like home
Rainy day
In the streets of Caen
Arm in arm
With my darling blond
Small cafes
And lingerie shops
The more we walk
My mind in thought
How lucky i am
To be walking here
With my gorgeous girl
Whom i love so dear
The romance of here
Is all around
The small side streets
In this lovely town
Even the rain
Adds to the bliss
Umbrella cover
Sharing a kiss
Hotel we reach
Dinner for two
A vintage wine
Our love so true
Upstairs we head
Hand in hand
Kissing, hugging
Just as we planned
We shower together
To get in the mood
As we unite our love
Birthday suit nude
Pleasurable moments
Absorb our night
Sensuous and steamy
Our wanting delight
We awake in the morning
To my love i glance
Our moments we shared
Romance in France

Here is a place I love and dread,
I am drawn by its soulless gravity,
Only to loath the streets I tread.
So foolish to rail against streets.
They are just streets, after all,
I hate memories contained here,
Yet too often I long for their call.
And cling to them endlessly wistful.
My love here has long been sour,
A needful, bittersweet affair,
For the insipid promise of power.
No place but this taints dreams so fast,
Tearing them down into shreds,
Entangling them with pain and anger,
Transformed into nightmarish treads.
Here is my perdition, I need it,
But I need it purged from my heart.
I long for a sweeter freedom,
When this place and I can part.
