Premium Member inner and outer

We all have inner and outer lives.
They’re messy, hopelessly intertwined, and more
than mere mannequins to hang our word-art upon.

I’m supported, in my unwritten life, by a structure
of moods, both affine and counter-expressive. I’m,
in turns, a tightly wound vagabond, an over-busy,
fretful, unhappy liar (for what I will not share) and
a happy, truthful mess (for what I may overshare).

My outer-life is largely academic, and turned with
complete absorption to task, I plow thru the
needed assignments, like a caffeine fueled machine,

You might rightly call outer-me boring. I get it, for
nothing much happens beyond study and life’s
usual maintenances.

But my inner-life is full of action, if desires,
dreams, and internally ranting against the injustices
of youthful separations can be rightly called actions.

Of my boyfriend, the world contains not one parallel.
He overshadows the few others I’ve ever known.
His masculine elements turn me all the way up,

He knows my petty vanities and most of my weaknesses.
If he doesn’t know my every phase of feeling, or every desire
of my love starved soul, it’s because our love is peripatetic.

Most of the year, we’re a long distance, digital, practical nothingness, A near autofictional anticipation. We are separated by a sea and more. If I may simply put it, I have a fine young body that is going to waste.

When I complained to my older sister, a surgeon who long delayed her own personal life for her career, she shruggingly and unsympathetically said,
“You only have to suffer a few more years.”
“Oh, mon Dieu!” I replied.

Premium Member Saturday Morning

Saturday Morning

Crows cawing, seagulls are screaming
Subway trains are beepng. Life is living

Strange noises from afar. The city is awakening
The rising sun looks into my room. Bad cheekily!

Shameless! Shameless! I feel bad from its light!
No sunshine! No! No!! I want to stay in the night!

In the night. I don’t want to wake up. No! Never!
I want to live in all my dreams. Forever! Forever!!

What happened last night? I can not remember
Something, I feel the cool sweetness of the cider

Oh, no memory, but the laptop knows the history
Watch back. I wrote a poem. I can not remember

The sweet cider says, read, read. I read and read
The lines. Last night. The poem. From my heart

Hmm. Oh. Deception of feelings. Disappointment
Why can't the dream feel? The dream must be left

Yeah. Looking for love. The eternal. Home of love
Yeah, the sun is killing me. The poem is cut so far

Sleeping. Dream. Day gone. I slept. It is alcohol
Late afternoon. Almost evening. Grey the window

Down. The day. Dark again. It’s night. Light of life
It’s a life. Three o’clock. I can’t stop the poem. My life

I am a slave of the time. Help me! Help! To be free!
No time. No time in my life. No more cider. Shop. Buy!

Alcohol. Alcohol. Can’t delete your life. The wished time
Time of happiness. The loved killer. Brings. Personal life

Bring, bring. Into my life. Into ours. And together die
Hmm. Together. I can’t die from Saturday to Sunday

This is a poem. My killer this weekend. The weekend
Hoped love, but the emptiness is the ruler. On my time

On my time. In my time. At my time. Be, be my kind
Be my part, be the driver, the leader, the boss in my life

Be the angel, the savior, the muse, the light in my life
The sun is radiating, a devil, I don't like this. Just dark

It is Sunday afternoon. I am full of alcohol. Life, a dark
Just swimming in the past, in the monochrome life

But so colorful, I can imagine all the souls, women, mistakes
I can’t stop this, I can’t create an end. Hmm, I stop now

No alcohol
I am going
By a bottle
Of alcohol

Bye

Hmm, it is Sunday
A beautiful black lady
Invited me a few days ago
On Wembley High Road
To a church. Mormon

I didn’t go
My mistake

I am
Sorry

No More Hash-Tagging

# Inspired by many people who overuse hash-tag for absolutely no reason whatsoever! (#):

# You’re acting like a fool,
experimenting on every flavored pills!
Hash-tagging is worthless –
Who gets hash-tagging thrills?
You’re just looking for fame if you use that sign (# so lame)
It does eventually lead to shame without a name!
#’s overrated…seriously annoying as well!
What’s the point of using it?
Who can tell . . . It’s annoying (# just a bit!)
It’s even worse than someone saying something’s swag
# you’re so RAD! You’re bad to the bone I must add!
But, you can be a useless tool – repairing naught!
# What? Why are you still using the sign? You’re crazy and cool (# not!)
What’s the purpose of #?
It’s overused like a filthy, wet rag!
No more hash-tagging! I don’t wanna hear you brag!
# Your lame and so is your hash-tagging ability!
I hope you know no one cares about your personal life – # it’s not a cup of tea
# Say goodbye to the overrated sign!
Find something else to do than put up statuses with hash-tag in it –
I already heard about you through the grapevine – # you’re a gossiping target – I’m not trying to be rude! Obviously, I’m in a bad mood!
Don’t shut me out or ignore my calls! Hash-tag is okay to use once in a blue moon – # you are still “swag” and legit, so don’t throw your childish fit! Get over it and grow up, dude!
Okay! Maybe hash-tag is overrated in this verse, # but I have no regret! You wanna bet?

Premium Member We Call Him Tiger

No, I don't play golf, nor am I a fan of those who play;
But I am a fan of success and great accomplishments.

It was about 1040 AM as I turned the curb to return home.
As I was making the turn, the thought of Tiger Woods entered
my mind because of the reports of his very recent accident.

I have never met Tiger nor expect that we will ever meet,
but this morning for a short while I could not shake the thought
of him. So, I began to pray for him, making mention of the losses
in his life and the pain that must have followed the shame and embarrassment he must have felt several years ago following the revelations about his personal life and family. As moisture began to form in my eyes, they were not tears for just a very famous person, a person that has experienced huge success and prosperity, but a heart throbbing prayer for a man in need of someone far beyond and above himself.

So, I prayed that God would reveal Himself to Tiger in a way that he has never known; that God would heal the wounds that seem to yet linger, causing him much frustration and sorrow. I do not know of Tiger's relationship with The Lord, but felt that I needed to touch God on behalf of one needing love and a friend. May The Lord also surround him with caring and loving people who are not enameled by the great golf star, but as a fellow human being in need of a solid path to walk on with his Maker.

Sweet Victory

Take a step back and look what happened
13 years of crap they were yapping
Lived my worst fears life collapsed in
turned me ugly from attractive

I lost my job and social scene
I even quit the football team
Yet still they carried on so mean
actually wiping my whole life clean

I have nothing that I had then
Unemployed without a friend
I know I drive you around the bend
shouting victim over again

But people purposely targeted me
using job titles as authority
they were nasty shameless horrid
bomb my personal life now borrowed

They destroyed an actual being
characteristics I had diminished
years annoyed my head spinning
True Injustice refuse to finish

Never would i surrender
repressed visions
mental release
Breakdowns lift And I remember
Scenes I’d seen
with every piece

They lied to make me look bad
and hide through lies to save their ass
they were sacked but no one knows
and I can prove it I can show

They tell people I was sacked
but I wasn’t and that’s a fact
now we change up good and bad
they are stood where I always have

13 years of clear defeat
final whistle never blew
now I cheer as they are beat
it’s all over, I don’t lose

Now they are not a valid talker
no longer are they believed
stories causing friend to walk far
are friends that I will never need

A book of slander in my name
now life took this book away

Premium Member As Stakes Raise Higher

Stakes Root Deeper

When the stakes
are life on Earth,
all else is a diversion.
     Susan Murphy Roshi

Here we have co-invested stakes
nondualing claims
of sacred and secular health causes,
and disinvested destroying diversions,
perversions,
distortions,
dismay,
retributions.

Susan Murphy is a Zen teacher,
so diversions from shared stakes
are Empty LeftBrain Egos,
like sound
and sight
and feeling
of one hand clapping,
slapping away life's co-investing stakes,
invitations,
resources for gratitude,
positive health attitude.

Interdependent stakes,
claims of concelebrating life as healthy
over ego-supremacist death as pathological,
are RightBrain intuited
Personal Knowledge,
eisegetical sacred feelings
that each Ego extends
our other hand of EcoEarthOther clapping
in co-arising nondual return.

Both hemispheres,
each sweeping
slapping
clapping
back and forth,
emptiness and interdependence,
YangStrength and YinFlow,
FatherSun and SacredEarth's HolySpirit,

Now, in this critical transition time
in-between Eden's restoring ecotherapies
and FallenEden's re-attributing ego-traumas

Ego pride of accumulating and hoarding investments
in this personal life
does to family and community health
what AnthroPride of disinvestment
away from Earth's divine ecological nature
does to homosapiens
and all sacred DNA-enscribed cousins,

And to our RNA fractally resonant holonic stakes
for eating,
refueling,
absorbing,
restoring rhythms and seasonal light-dark patterns,

Including sounds of two bicameral hands
concelebrating sacred life
on
and within
and flying
and spinning restore-destroy spirals
above
and beyond

My Calling

Did I sign a contract?
For these personal life experiences slept beside my always busy mind
Calling to me

As I stumbled down the Devil’s staircase
Once encased by my addictions
Bathed and soaked scars that I allowed myself to control and define me

Suddenly,
My Angels picked me up
and filled that empty space

So I could teach one how to adore thine own scars
So I could pick you up, up, up, up, up, up.
And fill your empty space

I remember the time of feeling unable to get back up again
My wings tethered and my mind scattered and my chest splattered as I echoed each breath of these unbearable gifts
I see the devil in every mirror and through every souls doorway I encounter their demons
Sometimes facing them into the late hours of the night
I’ve shed tears for my ancestors
Bearing the weight they couldn’t shed
Carrying these immortal longings along with the commitment of releasing them

My Angels picked me up, up, up, up, up, up
And filled that empty space, space, space, space
So I could pick you up, up, up, up, up, up
To teach you how to love each scar
How to dress unattended wounds
How to weep below the moon, moon, moon, moon
How to growl in the face of each darkness
How to listen to a fellow sad face
How to learn how to love yourself
As you stumble down the Devil’s staircase
I’ll pick you up, up, up, up, up, up
And fill each empty space, space, space, space

I signed a contract, to bear a loving heart
That loves so deep
With a soul that weeps
And a chest that will breathe

These immortal longings.

morning walk

Woken up by my mindful alarm clock, as to not wake my house, I sit up and stretch, i make my way out in the living room, i dress, and put on my shoes, unlock the door, close it and step out onto the early morning grass, still wet from dew, the sun is just beginning to wake up still, as its rays is setting on the house across from mine, i wrap my sweater around my neck, the wind is still cool, but its so refreshing to have its breeze blow in my hair.

i set out slow to walk, as not in a hurry, the day is not yet begun, i long to take my time and take in every step, every breath, this is my time to be one with GODS creation, be sereaned by his birds, the squirrels are up running about gathering their food for winter, are they rushing the season too?

I need to take this ME TIME to gather my thoughts, get my mind centered on what is coming my way later on, but not too much, as I want to start a new goal every day, one positive quote to say to myself each morning, no more negative thoughts, as I'm beginning to write again after five years, and I am using this as my tool to let go of negative thoughts, feelings, about the past, leave it where it is, behind me.

The sun is beginning to shine more, my pace is quickened now, i don't count steps, just my heartbeat, proving to myself and GOD that I'm here for a purpose, and I'm not going to rely on OTHERS to tell me positive things about myself anymore, because as I've learned in the past, people come and go, career change, personal life change, but I know one person who will never change, never leave, and its OUR SAVIOR Jesus, I want to build a personal relationship with HIM, do what I can to follow HIS example, one day at a time, step by step, I'm NOT PERFECT, but I can start by being positive, in how I talk to myself and others..

I'm back home now, I look up to the sky, close my eyes, inhale deeply, and take in this moment, as a mom, wife, daughter of GOD, daily walks in the morning will come my routine again.

Now time for coffee, Cafe americano anyone?

Words of Love

She reached her hand across their marriage bed,
It’d been a stand-off for so many years;
She prayed their love had not grown cold and dead,
His answer could allay her deepest fear:
The love for him she held in unshed tears.
Afraid that they had lost the life they shared,
A life of which he once had spoke with cheer:
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

He turned to her as though to speak, instead
He turned away to face the wall most near,
Her hand still out, the tears so long unshed
Fell from her eyes, uncertainty made clear:
The hope that lay inside now faded here.
Her heart was pierced, her need for him was bared,
She felt the pain as knives, so sharp and sheer;
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

For love to bloom, then know it must be fed
And heed these words, your heart upon them wear,
For marriage needs much more than daily bread,
Think not that words of love are not held dear,
For hearts will break when words to silence veer.
She lay upon her marriage, boned and pared,
She prayed he’d speak the words she longed to hear;
Although she now knew that he did not care.

[I wrote this poem in 2010 during a time of extreme emotional turmoil in my personal life. This is a reflection of how uncertain fear blossomed into certain awareness which lead to acceptance and the courage to change.]
