We awakened, we argued, just like we had done before
It was mostly about football, the Celtic versus Rangers score
I would choose my team, as usual he would choose his
Pushing and shoving would then entail, growing brotherly bliss
But this was a day that was going to unite us, brothers, yes we
For we were getting our uniforms, the Boys Brigade's 4th Company
Football squabbles we left behind, to Bishop Edens we would go
It's our Primary School, did I tell you, our learning's in scholar show
As usual we met at playtime, in the same team we always played
We were like Pele, no doubt, well! it's what we tried to display
To the clock we always watched, as we told each other after school
Lets hurry home to have supper, for the 4th Company in us ruled
We left the caravan together, then brotherly competition arrived
Hey James! I'll race you to the canal, my little legs in strive
Into the distance he ran, blimey! he's much faster than I thought
I must continue to look up to him, he's my elder, I'm sure well taught
Just as I turned the corner, now knowing that I'm lagging behind
One minute he was there then gone, images now run through my mind
What I have witnessed, is now focused, a JU250 van has swept him away
It's impact I feel in my heart, I'm now in slow motion play
I now reach the junction, in my peripheral I hear my brother scream
Nothing like this I have heard, am I absorbed in a nightmare dream
The driver exits the van, his head he holds in his hands
I'm seven years old in tears, just trying to understand
Tempos difíceis
Nestes tempos difíceis
de quadras de ventura e de paragem,
forma-se a pessoa de contrastes,
— perfeita tradução moral da persistência!
Desperta para a vida envolvida em ações
Aprestou-se, bem cedo, para a luta.
E a natureza fê-la à sua imagem:
AH! Prova de que Viver é adaptar-se!
Em sua aprendizagem de revezes
afez-se a reagir prontamente.
E espanta a rapidez com que varia
das explosões d'e força e agilidade
aos longos intervalos de apatia.
É inconstante e instável como o tempo
que passa,
em mutações desconcertantes,
da maior opulência àos estios infindos!
Nestes tempos difíceis
Com aparências que se contrabatem,
Forma-se uma batalhadora que ostenta o porte
perenemente combalido e exausto...
perenemente audacioso e forte!
Ilusão! ,
esta aparência de cansaço
Nada é mais empolgante do que ver-se,
transmudado em segundos,
o despertar da pessoa que nasce
Nestes tempos difíceis!
Nestes tempos difíceis
Basta o aparecer de qualquer possibilidade
exigindo-lhe o desencadear
da energia latente,
a mulher – a pessoa se transfigura!
E do tipo de delicada pessoa,
reponta inesperadamente
a figura soberba de uma titã,
acobreada pelas cores da base,
do batom e da pele!
Esse é o ser humano
Nestes tempos difíceis!
motived by his desire to appeal to women
there attention her affection and her approval
it had been said je was nicer to women than men
it made it easier to those who oppose him to speak
against his personal desires and wants
at the heart of being a legitimate interesting person
who's interest allows those who share certain interest
to share moments and intimacies
those with a more intelligential knowing would probably
differ there opinion and look toward the needs of the man
and how the women he attracts meet his needs and wants
and find why other would wish take both who
and want he desires
any activity about interest both active and inactive

It`s always inspiring to be strong in appearance,
Brave to catch up the essentiality of the sun.
How marvelous the wind blows to beat the sensations as one.
Yes, the pride is deep for BLACK skin to have fun.
The complexion is natural to be undermined,
Are you black?
Don`t be left in deceptive truck.
The image of black soothes what is meant of beauty.
Beauty that empowers the black skin to mindfully brag.
Beauty which carries protective substances against crack,
In fact, the beauty which possess a unique mark.
It`s all about black skin.
What are the definitions of black skin?
The skin which is naturally rich in melanin,
Black skin shields the body from folate depletion,
Making rightful protection against ultraviolet with adorable colouration.
Even in the heat of savannas, black skin provides cooling mechanism which develop more efficient perspiration.
If you think “BLEACHING” is a solution,
Bleaching is rather a termination.
And not a route to set one upon the mountain to receive lovable attraction.
It aims at pulling down the magical compositions of black skin into deterioration.
Leaving behind unbearable diseases and problems which turns out to place one in frustration.
The age of black is unpredictable,
It’s the skin which causes many to be humble,
it creates the feelings of being cherishable and affable.
Every story about black skin is expensive.
At the center of public, it is seductive…
Black skin fits in all attire perfectly with magnificent sensitives.
Before the rain, it looks charming and appreciative.
Exquisite of black skin, expresses its ebonics to be communicative.
Who can buy its glory?
I mean the glory which had brought motivations from multiples of personalities within the world entertainment in every gallery.
The motivations from Martin Luther, Mohamed Ali, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Pele, Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Usain Bolt and many others who are in memory.
Who maintained their precious black skin and exerted influence out of its value.
Perhaps, if you think your black skin is failing you,
Black skin is the most valuable gemstone found in morning dew.

I’ve kicked the damn bucket
turned it upside down
pieces of a lae fell out, yards of fabric
hand-woven bright
The spill was tremendous
out came tinksa’s
prayer flags
singing bowls
and melted glass
from Pele
Kneeling in the snow
of winter, in I peer
the bottom is not insight,
wetness shimmers and seas call
oil films
on Northern lights
Before me, before my time
my Grandad played kick-the-can
damn good idea
as toe meets bucket, I howl
perhaps, I will go see
a polar bear!
No regrets fill my bucket
for I want mine full of colored bits of Lhasa
windchimes from Bhutan
Dented, by life marked, decorated
hell morphed, I intend to rise
on comet tails
look for me
in ashes on a wind
in the H i m a l ayas

Aloha Weeps
Aloha weeps
In waves of grief
Pounding on a windswept beach
To grieve the loss of gracious footsteps
That gently walked upon its sand
Where the waves that tickled her heart
Now carry a plumeria lei
Beyond the horizon.
Pele mourns
Her adopted child
Whose fiery imagination
Flowed like lava in poetry
To build new lands of inspiration
Child, laughing in pikaki’s fragrant garden,
Slips quietly from breath’s bonds
Past the islands’ shores.
Trade winds grieve
Murmuring her name
Steadfast
In gossamer hues
Of orchids and hibiscus,
Hawaii’s pua aloalo,
So they remember to give
Breath to her words
Gliding over rolling surf
And rustling palms.
Rainbows cry
Reach out to touch
Her giving servant heart,
To touch her beauty,
To find her na'u garden empty
With only her Aloha scent
Lingering
Among the ilima of Oahu
As she soars on rainbow wings
Into friendly skies again.
The tropic sun laments
In a ring
Of fiery tears
In secret waterfalls
Among the blue awapuhi – trails of naupaka
And coral reefs
That guard tropical beauty
When tides recede
To hear the conch shell call her home.
Aloha Hawaiian Rose.
Mahalo nui loa, ka’u hoaaloha! Thank you so much my friend.
God be with you! ke Akua pu.

Thank you William, Hilo Poet, for teaching me the beauty of the Hawaiian language. I truly hope I have written it correctly to honor this beautiful language.
Awapuhi is a beautiful blue flower native to Hawaii.
Ilima is the flower of the island of Oahu
Naupaka is a small white, fragrant flower of Hawaiian legend
Na’u is the Hawaiian, fragrant gardenia
Pua aloalo is the Hibiscus – state flower of Hawaii
I remember the first time I saw a ball,
Those exquisite black and white pentagons ...
The geometric excellence that intimated such mystery and excitement ...
I HAD to have one, and started saving my money that very day.
I was only eight years old, and football wasn't big in the U.S.,
But I still wanted that amazing ball ...
After a few weeks of saving and doing extra chores,
I finally held my own ball in my hands,
Turning those five-sided panels over-and-over,
Smelling that glorious leather ... I was in kid heaven!
When I took it to school in my backpack my friends went crazy,
All having to hold it and smell it, all filled with the same energy as I,
My gut tumbling in anticipation of what amazing things might happen!
My little town had no budget for American "football" -
With all its pads and expensive equipment, but we did have "soccer" teams,
And I joined as soon as I could, for the sake of that amazing ball!
We didn't get to see the World Cup back then ...
The 60's and 70's being very limited as far as TV sports,
But we all followed it in the magazines and papers,
And when, years later, we finally got to WATCH the World Cup on television,
It was the substantiation of years spent loving a game
That not many people even TALKED about in the United States ...
A game that my friends and family and little town had loved for years,
Now birthed to fruition and delicious reality right in front of our eyes!
My friends from other parts of the country had heroes -
Heroes like Bart Starr and Bill Russell and Micky Mantle, et al,
But MY hero was PELE', though many here didn't even know his name!
When TV brought the World Cup to kids like me, the world became bigger,
More exciting, and more joyous, all because of that wondrous ball ...
So many years before!

A mulher que se encontra,
de quando em vez,
de tempos em tempos,
Tem os olhos vivos,
Tem a pele morena,
Branca ou negra,
Ora baixa, ora alta,
Tem um lindo sorriso,
E tudo o quer precisa;
Para levar alegria onde quer que esteja.
AH! As mulheres que eu vejo,
Tem fases, como a lua.
Fases de andar escondida,
fases de vir para a rua...
e outras de ser sozinha,
E Tudo nelas mostra a verdade,
Com que se acredita.
A mulher que vejo,
Tem olhos vivos e acalma,
Iluminando as vidas,
Segue a vida,
Sorrindo, fazendo sorrir,
Mudando o mundo.
A mulher que vejo,
Contraria a natureza,
Ilumina como uma estrela,
Inspira suave como a brisa
Seque a vida
Realizando sonhos
Enriquecendo vidas.
AH! Mulher,
Aceita o encargo!
De um pequeno gesto,
feito de longe e de leve,
Para transformar e mudar o mundo.

He was to Argentina
what Pele was to Brazil.
A household name.
A pop-culture icon.
A beloved global phenomenon.
One of the greatest

soccer players of all time.

Millions admired him and still do,
Soccer players wanted to be him

What a life! What a legacy!
Gone but never will be forgotten.
So long, Maradona
