A Big Problem

Once there was a famous king,
More famous than Ozymandias.
His name was King Wolf.
Sultan was his nickname.
He called himself a benevolent despot;
And his style of government
A ‘democratic dictatorship.’

He spoke good English—
A foreign language, though;
Only a minor problem with 'l' and 'r':
Once, for instance, a reporter asked him,
"What about elections, Your Majesty?"
His response:
"Why, I have them everyday!"
The poor reporter was thoroughly confused.

His kingdom was a land of superlatives:
The oldest civilization,
The largest standing army,
The largest population,
The largest exporter—of people,
The largest emitter of carbon dioxide,
Now the second largest exporter of goods, too,
And will soon be the largest.

Since his was the most populous kingdom,
Demography was his obsession,
Which he called his specialization.
Of course, Sultan had tried his best
To check population growth—
By means of family planning.
It didn't work.
So he curbed people’s Right to have children.
But still there was a huge difference
Between the optimum number
And ground reality!

Therefore, Sultan hatched a wonderful plan:
Started a war with a friendly neighbour.
Every section of twenty soldiers in his army
Had just one primitive rifle between them:
If a soldier went on,
He would be shot.
If he went back,
Again, he would be shot.
A Catch-22!
Many of his men were slaughtered.
But still Sultan won—by sheer numbers!
Oh, God!
But the King did not believe in God.
Like king, like people!

But the dead soldiers were only a small number.
So, now another plan:
Government is the boss.
Let people overwork.
Sultan cracked the whip.
And a number of people died—
Of overwork, year after year.
Further reduction in population.

Production increased:
Cheap goods flooded the world market:
From PCs to push-up bras.
No warranty.
The economy boomed.
Ah, his kingdom became a Big Power!

But once some workers gathered
In the Capital and protested—
Against exploitation.
The name of Karl Marx was in the air.
“Listen,” Sultan roared, “Marx died—
Long ago.
So should you—now,
For raising his name in vain.”
So, still further reduction in population!

Now, when this narrative ended,
Sultan was busy, planning for another war.
Poor soul!
How else could he solve the problem—
Of overpopulation?!

In quiet, space breaks down into insight.
Opposing the edge amidst deceit and blight.
Imperceptible resonation is reflected back.
On a hunch, or at the stroke of night track.

A lethal tree is still close in the woodlands.
The spirit was trailing on the kist of the tree.
At first, kids looked to chip with their hands.
Seep into the night in a ruddy shrunken spree.

I wake up early to the Greek myth of Zeus.
A vessel drifting on the Dal Lake in Udaipur.
The sound of a woman sobbing in sadness.
Over calm green oceans, echoes in Jupiter.

She was performing in a velvety baritone.
Pain in the midst of the tranquility of dawn.
Endeavoring to perform the icy top in June.
Mountains that frame the Kilimanjaro awn.

Ghastly calamities smash and deeply devastate.
I rightly fear that wide-open harm didn't recover.
You can expect the best, yet I will never hesitate.
My dear life depends on your choice; kindly usher.

I regularly defied to bid someone to criticize.
The one-sided truth was dazzling blindness.
My space was thwarted in the related size.
I felt as if somebody led a ruin process.

Sacredness to which humankind might relate,
With the moon sitting on edge of the world.
Mountains meet to uncover the ornate.
Smiling and radiating, from high observed.

There are times when I can feel the crests fly.
I'm being held down as my blood is drained.
Brain scars result from ruined sight and sway.
When I perish, a chasm arises in my mind.

A lean, edge-on which rests one's optimism.
Please be cautious of steps you split wide open.
In fate, a walk on shells will be optimum.
Shift much fatal shooting and be woken.

I minded my name being said in a whisper.
I was adducible of a hand tapping my forearm.
When I swung around to direct a look closer,
I found myself alone and aching for smarm.

How might a heart that dorsum and delicate,
Have the sway to bear a vast part desolate.
But we're apt despite our humble eyesight.
To discover the earth and the vast infinite.

The monstrosity of the encompassing world.
Encompassed by both the sight and the sound.
Emotions energize the heart within the darkness.
Eyes that can consistently scan such elegance.

Children were afraid of metallic plastic face robots
So the solution was to make them look real
  Real?
Yes, Lifelike Optimum Robotic Assistant, LORA
She will be the best nanny you ever had, she never needs sleep
Programmed in all domestic chores and child safe and friendly
Children just love her...

Model Z12 2-4-6, lets call her Nora our Lora
The neighbors will be so jealous...

The children are happy and getting so smart
As parents no worries if were apart
Nora can protect, dress, feed even play games
Being a parent will never be the same
She's gentle and soft, eyes with a glow
Anything asked of her she already knows
The house is perfection, the meals homemade
Happiness is a LORA android man made

At night we never lose sleep
Nora is there if the baby weeps
If Tommy is frighten by nightmares
Nora can hold him and soothe away fears
We have it easy and are pleased
Nora has everyone at ease

Last night as we played Mommy and Daddy games
Nora came in our room and it felt strange
She heard me call baby and her functions stopped
Next morning maintenance took her back to the shop

The baby cries and Tommy is sad
The house a mess, the food taste bad
When can we get our LORA back?
Another week! Don't call me Jack!

Finally Nora is here
Everyone smiles with cheer
Nora save us from our fate
Parents can go on a date
But as we try to leave
Nora hands Susie a bottle
  No Nora you watch the baby
It's just the Mister and me
Nora seems unsettled

Late at night I am in the shower
Nora comes in like a prowler
She begins to wash me
  Nora please let me be
Nora no, she gets wet
Her body is anatomically correct?

But Susie it was just a glitch
Nora is reprogrammed and fixed
Besides the children love her...

Nora's eyes seem alive
She sways as she walks by
Never ages always is fair
Even has a pleasant scent in her hair
She is so soft to the touch
Susie is jealous.  Too much

Spring and time to mow the lawn
Whose that with no shirt on?
Tan and teen with a gleam in his eyes
  Fernando don't forget the trim
Clean the pool..

But Susie he is too lifelike!
Why didn't you tell me you got a gardner robot?
  Baby, you hate yard work
Besides who said Fernando was a LORA?

"here I am in human form
but it was not always quite so
earth is not the only planet I’ve been to
through past life regressions I definitely know"

                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In ethereal glow of our final seconds on Earth.
Within a span, souls enisling in an isthmus berth.
As metamorphosed bees, clad in airy wings, soar
Ebbing to a cosmic abode of glow, for ego lore.
Embrace bequeath in gestalt of Earth shell.
Or is life devoid of anguish and pain in hell?
Will we be protean for reincarnation with blood?
Shifting, fully booming, owing to anodyne stud.
We shall soon reminisce days on remote sand.
Ethereal pathways that follow a celestial hand.
Eyeing raw cosmic shape sycophant eternity.
Then clung to destiny with my slight dexterity.
Our exhausted organism is narcissism-driven.
Dichotomy may dim soul light if delight is given
Mixed rhythms create an authentic, airy shape.
Pride divides, but love beats through crape.
A human-shaped crow stands against me.
After a lull, I realize how other crows may be.
It can evolve into nefarious aviator at a whim.
Either he goes by moon or sun—could be grim.
He flies across treetops as various ravens bow.
Bald winged—swear to the lord's fealty vow.
To fulfill their duty and honor shifting souls.
Embrace him openly, regardless of goals.
Some may imagine me as an angel today.
A mercurial creature with a noble display,
Mythical beings travel to Earth and arrange.
But tomorrow—I can freely delve to estrange.
Enigma is amaroidal for loving or valuing a voice.
Mysterious to the esoteric—familiar by choice,
I may ply suction forms reaming joy or sadness.
In my cryptic tactics—no space for gladness
Nearly recalling draws me in—lures me away.
But those are tears of a child, pure, in disarray.
A juvenile devil is invading my cerebral cortex.
Despite optimum strain, I may become a vortex.
Premium Member Just Be Still--
It's been awhile since I felt this way
got me thinking about it everyday
me wanting you Lord you need to be you
.Optimum choice so many chances
 have no time for second Glance
Let's let neither sickness new diseases and our blessings You're a Trumpeter voice of a lion messenger
 Lord please tell me my options and you said as you
....whispered in my ear just just just be still
 It's The Sign of the times and they're gnashing of teeth People having remorse sons against fathers
Daughters against mothers
Seems like life doesn't matter
What does it matter
You asked this question when you were 12 and 13
Have you ever awakened drenched in your sweat
Caused by an intense dreams nightmares dreamt
ooo-ooo-ooo this keeps moving but please keep tell me my options
And you said as you whisper in my ear just just just be still
Spinning and turning what this means
 I ask myself and I prayed up to God so much upheaval
So much Injustice send nature is running rapid what must I do To stay safe safe and behaved
Do the teachers doctors lawyers politicians have the answers Please tell me my options
And you said as you whispered in my ear just just just be still
In this world it keeps moving spinning and turning so
So much as this world keeps moving spinning and turning
Can you please tell me my options
So you say again once again as you whispered in my ear
 just just just be still
What does this mean I asked myself when I pray it out loud
To God so much upheaval and Injustice send Nature's running rapid
What does this mean what must I do to stay safe saved
And behave do teachers doctors lawyers politicians have
Been answered this world keeps moving spinning and turning So much moving spinning intently and I please Lord tell me my options and you said ...
as you whispered in my ear just just just be still
Gain Perennial Wealth
Catch the latch under the thatch
Roof within the hut
In your village where you snatch
Every chance to balance the gut
That propels your vision
To embrace the trace of the future
You believe lies in the diffusion
Lying at the intersection of a culture
Dynamic enough to promote progress
Conservative enough to preserve salient values
So  essential in your culture they digress
From puny conservation to sow clues
To the way forward in blessing Africa
Without turning your backs on the forward march
Humankind launches to recognise Jamaica
As  the homeland the  Reggae arch
Whose contribution Jimmy Cliff
Alongside Bob Marley and Peter Tosh
Transformed the music genre from a whiff
To a major component so posh
No connoisseur can dismiss it
As a flash in the pan in the pantheon world music
Celebrates and elevates to fit
New sounds and bounds in non-basic
Communication where a universal language
Inherent in music criss-crosses salient aspects
Humankind shares and spreads to assuage
Incongruities and insanities in prospects
That point to and chart the destiny
Humankind deserves
Despite flak, yak and intrusive scrutiny
That in the end serves
No useful purpose in uniting humankind
Despite race, opinion and obstination
Which turns people blind, makes them unkind
To the extent they annihilate an entire station
Blessed by the most high
To  kiss blessings and forgo chances
To step forth and fly
Higher than current circumstances
Project
In their illusion to freak out
Reject
And promote doubt with diminishing clout
Today and tomorrow
Now and forever
If you should borrow
Not from fever or a disgrace river
But from God's manifesto
In which your portion lies in success
To derive nutrients not from alcohol but from the tomato
To which God has granted you permanent access
To prolong life
Live in optimum health
Give up strife
And gain and bargain for perennial wealth.
Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SEES US
January 5 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 16-18
Key Verse– Genesis 16:13 And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SEES US
Praise be to God for seeing us in His:
Presence as the preserving Creator
Purpose as the protecting Saviour
Persistency as the perfecting Master
Genesis 16:1-11 Praise be to the Lord for hearing our affliction caused by
Burden, loaded with cares; backsliding, wayward midst sinfulness
Brokenness, feeling so guilty; barrenness, being restrained from fruit-bearing
Genesis 17:1-21 Praise be to the Almighty for enabling us to walk with Him according to:
Cause-He appeared to us.
Claim-He is with us.
Challenge-There is a need for us to be perfect.
Cost-He will multiply His exceeding grace unto us.
Covenant-He is our God forever.
Charge- He commands us to keep our contract with Him.
Cheer-He gives us an everlasting possession.
Genesis 18:14 Praise be to the Creator for responding to His question “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
Obvious answer is “Of not not” since God’s schedule “at the time appointed” and “according to the time of life” is best.
Open assertion is “God always can” since His way is perfect.
Optimum affirmation is “God specializes in impossibilities” since His power is sovereign.
Genesis 18:33 Praise be to the Saviour for communing with us:
Appearing unto us in the plains of usual routine in the heat of the day,
assuring His favour, ascertaining His blessings, awakening us from doubts’ laughter, answering our queries, approving our choices, alerting us against bad motives, acknowledging us of our intercessions, allowing us to express our pleas, asking us to trust His heart, amending our wrong perspectives, attending to us with His mercy, addressing our needs and wants. Amen.
Premium Member My God, Thank You For Nourishing Me Up
November 26 Scripture Meditations Based on 1Timothy 3-4
Key Verse – 1Timothy 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR NOURISHING ME UP
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your words of faith-exercise
So powerfully mighty for valuable sacrifice
To strengthen me while for Your glory I will arise
Against grips of worthless ties.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your doctrines of truth-certainty
So purely biblical for fruitful spirituality
To assure me within Your salvation of steadfast security
Against beliefs of humanistic religiosity.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your teachings of loyalty-faithfulness
So clearly constant for joyful devotedness
To uphold me while to Your love I cleave with peacefulness
Against attacks of infidelity’s waywardness.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your principles of ministry-stewardship
So fully effective for optimum partnership
To uphold me within Your fellowship whenever I seek You in worship
Against enticements of worldly friendship.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your care of compassion-nurture
So gently kind for good works’ gesture
To drive me toward Your heart I trust in my heavenly venture
Against anger of hatred’s torture.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your instructions of triumph-contentment
So bountifully sufficient for grateful acknowledgment
To supply me with Your abundance I enjoy with fulfillment
Against tragedy of prayerlessness’ detriment.
Thank You for nourishing me up in Your assurance of presence-guidance
So readily available for prudent performance
To direct me to Your ways I choose for holy stance
Against frustrations of stubborn arrogance.
