PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SEES US
January 5 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 16-18
Key Verse– Genesis 16:13 And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO SEES US
Praise be to God for seeing us in His:
Presence as the preserving Creator
Purpose as the protecting Saviour
Persistency as the perfecting Master
Genesis 16:1-11 Praise be to the Lord for hearing our affliction caused by
Burden, loaded with cares; backsliding, wayward midst sinfulness
Brokenness, feeling so guilty; barrenness, being restrained from fruit-bearing
Genesis 17:1-21 Praise be to the Almighty for enabling us to walk with Him according to:
Cause-He appeared to us.
Claim-He is with us.
Challenge-There is a need for us to be perfect.
Cost-He will multiply His exceeding grace unto us.
Covenant-He is our God forever.
Charge- He commands us to keep our contract with Him.
Cheer-He gives us an everlasting possession.
Genesis 18:14 Praise be to the Creator for responding to His question “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
Obvious answer is “Of not not” since God’s schedule “at the time appointed” and “according to the time of life” is best.
Open assertion is “God always can” since His way is perfect.
Optimum affirmation is “God specializes in impossibilities” since His power is sovereign.
Genesis 18:33 Praise be to the Saviour for communing with us:
Appearing unto us in the plains of usual routine in the heat of the day,
assuring His favour, ascertaining His blessings, awakening us from doubts’ laughter, answering our queries, approving our choices, alerting us against bad motives, acknowledging us of our intercessions, allowing us to express our pleas, asking us to trust His heart, amending our wrong perspectives, attending to us with His mercy, addressing our needs and wants. Amen.
