The characteristics of mankind has not changed from generation to generation
And we're all still the children of He who ordained creation
As there's nothing new under the sun and we need to comprehend
That basically we are all the same under the skin
We all have a good side as well as a bad
We all have some traits that we wish we didn't have
From Adam to Aaron from Ruth to Rehab
We're all alike be it indifferent, happy or sad
Yet God has a way of letting us know this one fact
He will often times make us aware of our bad acts
And when we fall down then we're more able to see
That maybe it's time to readjust our personalities
I've always felt that grey hair was a silent testimony
Of experiencing life's journey as we move towards maturity
And by gaining wisdom and knowledge as we travel along
Now better equipped to discern right from wrong
As the resurrection power that came through Jesus the Christ
Allowing us to rise above the dead things in life
Still standing and inhaling because of Jesus' sacrifice
Still standing and inhaling in the midst of pain, agony and strife
Still standing and inhaling knowing that we've sustained
The Spirit of God that inside of us remains
Now a little older, a little wiser with no room for bitterness
Inhaling the word of God so that we can now be blessed
Still standing and inhaling waiting for Jesus to return
Still standing and inhaling living by the scriptures that we've learned
Now realizing that the adversary has always been around
Now understanding that in this world evil can always be found
Still standing and inhaling witnessing for the Lord Jesus the Christ
Still standing and inhaling with the Great Commission as our purpose in life
Still standing and inhaling the glorious word of the almighty God
Still standing and inhaling with love in our hearts
Daddy once said, "There is nothing new under the sun.
It's not what you do but how it's done."
So doing it well is the theme of the day
Get up, dress up, and be on your way
Onward to your glorious destiny
It is written so you must read it intently
Then play!

Nevermind what they say; it's all about how you feel it

The flood waters had drawn back

With nothing but hope in view
Hard work and labor ahead
Building and creating...what
Grown minds can't forget experience
No matter how one sought

After a time of planting and pruning
Harvest came in fullness of glory
Lending God's blessing
To the legendary story
Funny how a flood can wash away life
But not bring one to self control
The father "god" released himself
To the lusts of his consuming soul
...in celebration of humanity
What did Cush know before
That seeped under the skin to once again
Reveal the nakedness of humanity
And the sepulcher of sin
Had LOVE been present with Noah
His response could not have been a curse
Forgiveness and compassion
Would have covered even the worst
....desires
He walked away with a fear of self
And exalted himself in fear and shame
He would never need that presence again
When he forged a powerful, worship base...of a name
He would create a world of debauchary
Where twisted passions are indulged
Men and women could experiment
And the nakedness of man bulged
...in plain sight
Kingdoms came and went throughout the ages
Merging and assimilating with one
Osiris and Isis, pagan gods
Yet "freedom" displays their symbols under GOD and GUN
All of civilization has been touched by failure
To respond appropriately to fear
Written history slants truth to serve agendas
With peanuts and beer
...with a wink of the eye
The system hides at the height of education
The breaking down of a flowing mind
Add a little "god" to the knowledge
And one can operate outside of the confines of time
Raising humanity above the sludge of soul
Into the heavenlies of a magical god
Using the terrors and horrors of the past
To make a paved road, much easier to trod
...to the ALL SEEING EYE
Education under the guise of religion
Is the perfect place to hide humanity's fear
We wonder if there is a difference, choice can make
That will bring down an all-consuming fire to sear
Man's conscience to perfection, the sainted election
Of those who will go into the next world, without sin
How can GOD deliver humanity, anew
Without ONE failing again...and again
...nothing new under the sun

In the pit of the darkness it's midnight
Cross horizon lots of new day
Fluorescent wrong casualties of war
Spun out tires the interstate grows
Infatuated with the debacry
Fathom crew it's all that's lost to me it's new
In the pit of the darkness it's midnight

On the clouds of righteousness none of this fits
Caught up in the mirage of prayers
While even in the darkness they pedal their wares
While being strung out on life, embracing your strife
Providence is gunning for you infatuated with the democracy
Fathom cruise it's all that's lost to me and it's new
In the pit of the darkness it's midnight

Shall I get up to heaven in this fleshy tattered frame
While it's not about getting their it is more about staying there
For our God has unequivocally has said that there's nothing new under the Sun
For one day when the Son sets down on this terrain ground
Bringing with Him His warring angels to battle the sin ful strangers

From the clouds of His righteousness He commits
His merciful salvation yours you should accept
While being strung out on life embracing this strife
Providence is gunning for you infatuated with the bureaucracy
Phantom dues it's all you have left and to me it's old it's new

Snakes in the grass that’s ready to bite
Jealousy and resentment run so deep
But you must keep the faith
Frenemies only know gossip

They will try to damage your story

They often live in a fake reality
But darkness does not live forever!

There’s nothing new under the sun,
first came the sword then came the gun.
Gonna make me a spear, gonna build me a rocket,
every bullet they fire is money in my pocket.
I’ve had you fighting your neighbour, had you fighting your brother.
Had you fighting for ‘peace’ then fighting each other.
Communist, Terrorist, Pacifist and Liberalist
On the right on the left, whatever the label.
I’ve got all my horses rounded up in one stable.
The soldiers of Rome impaled their future king.
The soldiers of Hitler did much the same thing.
Oil is the earth’s blood, the prize they all seek,
But I trade it for your blood every day of the week.
It gives me a thrill to see that blood spill,
They’re Satan’s little helpers and they’re there for the kill.
You wanted it all, you reached for the moon.
But you want things in my world, you gotta dance to my tune.
I have to admit, it sends shivers down my spine,
When you salute that flag and I know that you’re mine.
There’s nothing new under the sun,
Been tellin the same lies since the earth first begun.
I’ll fill you full of facts, just one of my tricks,
You wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you like bricks.
When those witnesses come calling, trying to talk you some sense,
You’ll pay them no heed at your own expense.
I’m the winner now whether you live or die, as long as I have you believing the lie.
You can’t see the picture, and that’s how I like it.
By the time you learn history, you’re already part of it.

Talk to the Bard, it’s all been done.
--Nightmare creatures that shock and stun!
Paging Lovecraft, it’s all been done.
--A trip to refuel the damn sun!
Go read scifi, it’s all been done.
--The something with an airborne nun?
Strangely enough, that has been done.
--Then tales of people wrongly shunned…
Good lord, those have been overdone..
--An ode to folks who weight one ton!

The worlds a stage we war, we peace in life

Loves an energy it draws us near to it
We defy physics --rupture Natures Cord
To reject Unity, when we’ve first begun
Independent discreet entities
With hate we grow passion with love we grow bored
