Born of Sicilian, Italian parents he was an only child.
His parents split up and his mother never let him run wild.
In a poor area of New York, he was made to stay inside.
His mother would take him to the movies. He was her pride.

Eventually they moved to live in his grandparent’s home.
Before they came to USA his grandparents were from Rome.
Movies enticed him to be an actor. He was in plays at school.

Special Angel

Living a life for many years,
                                                  I overcome sadness with fears,
                                               Because somebody is always there,
Whom I called my “Special Angel”

Her love for me is forever,
A good wife and a good mother,
She is my strength and my adviser
                                                        I thank God for her.

Doing my service to the people,
Help them with a smile and be humble,
My mission is to be an example,
To be a good citizen yet stay a life so simple

                                                  Blessings are overflowing,
                                                Not with any material things,
                                                   But for family and friends,
                                              I considered them as God-send.

                                                 All my success and failures,
My special angel always has a cure,
Her heart is strong and pure,
She’s a blessing to me by our Almighty Creator.

Victor Davis Hanson Should Return the New Criterion's Edmond Burke Award

He writes op-eds for Fox and admires Don Bongino, Ed Henry, Brian Kilmeade,
Trey Gowdy, Bill Hemmer, Will Cain, Jason Chaffetz, Stuart Barney, Jesse Watters, Raymond Arroyo, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, Pete
Hegseth, Greg Gutfeld, and Lou Dobbs.
He predicted as a result of the 2020 election the country would be bitter, democrats would be blamed for making Trump into a monster, they would lose their power within two years and be considered a radical party.
He predicted that Biden would have no popular support, would not be able to put through any legislation, would never have a nominee for Supreme Court Justice and would eventually be relieved of his duties.
Even though most saw Trump as vulgar, uncouth, divisive and eccentric, Hanson would still vote for him. He saw Trump as a builder, dynamic leader, a regular guy from Queens and a better choice even with his bad boy attitude.

Kavanaugh grew up in a cave
Never learned how a judge should behave
This caveman likes beer
And ladies must fear
Becoming this drunkard’s sex slave

Despite his bad manners revealed
Kavanaugh might not be repealed
He’s t-rump’s first choice
To kill Roe v Wade’s voice
And take women’s rights far afield

Author’s Note: This Supreme Court nominee pleases the fundamentalist Christians. If he is confirmed, the very wealthy will also be cheering since he is a supporter of the super-rich, who have no problem taking their private jets to Canada if someone in their family or mistress needs an abortion. The concentration of wealth and the elimination of social programs is what this is really about.

Muslims, etc. Because of this I find him reprehensible

he’s projecting very complex problems onto simple villains”

—“Trump’s a total fraud who doesn’t care if regular people and call
                                   him reprehensible”
—“Trump’s cultural heroin, just another opioid for Middle America”
—On Twitter (X) Vance liked tweets saying Trump committed
“serial sexual assault” and called Trump “One of USA’s most hated,
                        villainous, and douchey celebs”

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
for the first time,
a catholic became
the USA President.

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
there was an actor
who became a Governor
and later, The President.

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
there was a son
of a president
who became The President.

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
For the first time,
a woman became the
nominee of the Democratic
Party to run for President.

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
there was an African
American Senator who
became the first African
American USA President.

Once upon a time,
in my life time,
a very famous,
popular, and rich
businessman became
America's President.

Once upon a time,
in my lifetime,
a Senator was 78
years of age when he became
the oldest to have ever
become The USA President.

The Quantum Problem With Trump

Is Donald Trump not essentially American,
An exemplary icon of quintessential America?
A normal man to the loud, confident American,
The pride of the burly, bullish pedestrian?

Freedom of speech is understood by Americans,
To mean that diversity is the consequential result,
And that all can perambulate along vocality’s road,
Without fear of scathing, of the eloquence catapult.

Bigotry is rife in the States and you can’t criticise,
Harshness, coarseness or brevity for anything,
Because if you do a snide remark with cascade,
To sedate your narrow mind and morality thing.

So here’s the thing: the president is not normal,
But is a speciality without symbolism of the norm,
So maybe it should be harder, languages required,
To become a presidential nominee with silk form.

Janus Face

Chaotic dialect set-off back-and-forth
Two contrasting characteristics
One is proven to be duplicitous
Political backing of the other party
Now denies it
A refusal that of a true statement
Two-headed bull, speaks gibberish
But the bull is goaded,
wounded, half-crazed
If the bull could reason,
it would understand
After the matador shows off
assessing the bull
The matador unfurls a red cape
Makes me sigh
Men, and women who stand by the bull
Who want to take away freedom
A kind of deception in which you
intentionally hide your true feelings
Intentions behind false words or
Freedom’s away from women's choices
Of their own bodies!

Immigrants’ work grants and
reforms dissolving
They define our American character
and shared history
They are not a problem we need solving
Doctors arrested for saving mothers'
LGBT rights gone
It’s wrong according to the Good Book
A*** or oral copulation “bad acts”
aren’t limited to homophobes
Hear, hear,
Listen to you!
Invisible self
I’m just a regular guy trying to help you –
but if you go back to your old world, beware,
because there are some tricky guys out there
No freedom for those people
Students’ books banned,
Bullying left-facing taken into their own hands

Shine a spotlight on the humanity of immigrants,
and the underlying theme is compassion
Chaotic dialect back-and-forth
Left-facing a Warrior for the people
Our beautiful United States will not be free at all
If together we don’t stand,
So, divided we will fall

On day 1, I promise to take all social experimentation (affordable housing), woke agenda (ban books), side issues (woke ideology) and throw them in the trash—Ron DeSantis

There's one thing that we have in common— Neither of us will be the nominee for our party in 2024—Gavin Newsom

Cawfee and a Bagel

There’s a gingerbread contest each year
Where iconic New York scenes appear.
It’s impressive to see,
With each prize nominee,
How creative folks are around here.

First the Statue of Liberty sat
And the Brooklyn Bridge right after that,
Plus the Chelsea Hotel,
Chrysler Building as well,
All within the New York habitat.

Still, my favorite creation by far
Had no building, no bridge, boat or car,
But a real breakfast treat
Most New Yorkers might eat
Which, to me, in this show, was the star.

‘Twas a take-out container of joe,
Which the locals call “cawfee,” you know,
Plus a cream-cheese filled bagel
Someone did finagle
From gingerbread, just for the show.

I don’t know if it won the first prize,
But it brought much delight to my eyes,
So hats off, Juliet,*
For I’m sure, I would bet,
From your project much joy did arise.

Mother Billie Showed Ocean Eyes

When I see an artist cry
for not winning a Grammy,
I wonder—being a nominee would be a dream.
Oh, to even appear on television,
millions rooting, fans screaming—
is that less than winning a Grammy?

It's painful not to get what you deserve.
Losing is hard, all that pain we've heard.
But wasn't the journey mesmerizing?
To release songs, a massive crowd getting that feeling.
To be able to leave your mark,
getting recognized worldwide,
your spot had a thousand eyes.
But still, claiming that seat,
is that less than winning a Grammy?

How can one possibly feel less worthy
when being a nominee made you win?
You have true people still loving you.
Is that feeling less than winning a Grammy?

Oh dear, it's a pleasure for them to invite you.
The room was filled with ethereal beauty.
Your presence brought our televisions to life.

"I didn't win."

Rubbish!

In our eyes, you did.

When your birth was an honor for this world,
how important is it to win a Grammy?
