Blue Jays on a branch practicing what they sing
Lions roaming the safari proudly acting like a king
Leaves falling down, back and forth they gently swing
Listen it is Mother Nature that you are now hearing
Winter melts away and rain washed into the Spring
Two squirrels run up a tree for a little fun-time fling
The wind whips in the canyons, off the hills it pings
This beauty of our world is uncomparable to anything
Within the darkest night glowing eyes are always peering
With sounds that have their own special sort of ring
The Worlds way up high back and forth the stars they sling
So many unanswered questions the Heavens always bring
The falcon in the sky up and down it flaps each wing
Searching the field below for it's days first offering
Even sometimes the act of a kill is still a wondeful thing
So grateful to be blessed of something so awe inspiring

Theme: Nature Hosted by:Shadow Hamilton
Tropical storms are here, and the hurricane season has just begun Mother nature is talking, and is sure to be heard before she's done
In the coastal south, it's very stormy and mighty wet In Sacramento, it's steamy sweaty and not even July yet
It's roasty toasty and fiery hot throughout the west Perhaps this summer the old records will be put to rest
Neither my tomatoes nor my peaches have turned red I know they are fighting hard to keep from going dead
The streets are quiet and the pavement is frying The insects are hidden, and perhaps they are crying
I'm grateful my air conditioner is complaining none Our best friend these days is the faithful SETTING sun

Solitude, blissful, happiness we can't buy
Attitude lacadescal, as we attempt to master a skill
An emotion , A gift
A scientist's potion without an hypothesis
Mother nature never takes from the poor my friend
But i cant seem to close the door to hell
Maybe because i lack the intelligence
It's all manufactured as sharp as a bevel edge
Consumers cry out for something new to pull off the self
Business men tamper with the known outcome we call tragedies
I wonder why?
But still we sell the truth and buy the lie
As the Ashakic records reflect
Atlantis once had it right
A power from a crystal that once lit a whole city at night
And that ancient wisdom is said to be buried under the Spinx
The Father of Terror
A King that still Reigns
So to speak he still applies his trade
Form:
A soul of abundance
On path of life
Thriving on blessings from God
Hallowed havens
A salvation for the mind
Mother Nature
A light to the heart
Enthralled by beauty
A Goddess of Life
A gem in flowing streams
Igniting Divine Love
Rekindling spiritual insight
An aching thirst for truth arises
A rising crave to quench the blaze
A soul of blessings
Holding on to the very truth
The spark within
Shall never fade
Paths leading to Beauty
An outpouring of faith and love
A full heart dipped into the fountain of wonder
Far from appeasing that hunger
A Goddess, a servant of The Beyond
On path of Life
Cannot belong
But to eternal Beauty
Unsatisfied, beyond the veil
We are an all in All
Outstretching hands
For souls not to fall
The quest for Life has no end
Shall not reach what to Bliss
Puts an end.
Burning flames of ardour
When grown faint
And the tune of the soul music
Would turn down
Rapture, Divine Beauty
An essence, a secret not to attain
The pursuit is not vain
The light within the soul is shed
Deny not the ocean of wisdom
Deplore not the eternal quest for Beauty
A free Spirit
Unbounded by shores
Divine Beauty
A wonder to behold.
A seagull soars over the ocean with upward force and thrust
Far away in the distance a whale swims away from a human spoon
Another era of uncertainty, an empty shore, a virus battle cry
Resonating through the land Mother nature weeps, silently....
Classification of humans bawling at the sky what have we done ?
Rallies, lineups, vaccine hiccups, blubbering children of the past
Yearning for health we offer up our arms, hoping for freedom.

Where God Learned Hands
Because the heavens could not bend to every cry,
They shaped a pair of hands that never learned to fly.
So God grew nearer by departing, flesh and bone,
And called that nearness Mother, warm as home.
She waits where clocks grow tired of counting days,
Feeds time with breath, and names our fear by name.
Her love is not a sermon taught to stay,
But law made milk, and mercy taught to weigh.
When gods grow tall and distant in their light,
She kneels the dark and keeps the child in sight.
If prayer must walk, it learns her patient art,
To carry heaven quietly in the heart.
I aged a small number of hours,
none the worse
since posting about Daylight Savings Time,
a radiant playful verse
teasingly succeeded against being terse,
a cogent tangential thread,
where passage of "time"
ranks front and center
this central theme constitutes cultish obsession
with vibrant youthfulness
as if senescence a crime imposed
(at birth) on every purse
son, thus a healthy and prominant grow wing
(nee bursting out all over)
market and cottage industries didst swing
into high gear (make that overdrive)
addressing telomeres shortcomings
justifies tamper ring
with chromosomal genes
to sustain bug eyed sales figures,
asper amazing grace full spy king
scales into the stratosphere,
with cosmetic surgeons hoe ping
where, (particularly among
baby boomer generation)
appear younger looking than offspring
(albeit, whereat either gender undergoing
bust ting bosoms and tightening tushies)
to foster said tune, where billions of dollars
come into play, I haint joe king
this feeding frenzy removing without a trace
(of surgeon's needle) unsightly wrinkles,
stretch marks, blemishes, et cetera
(over a life time) fulfilling vanity
in the name of eternal quest to dupe biology
paying mega bucks postponing twilight/ evening
years not yielding to depredations when dotage
a stark reminder what natural aging doth bring
superficial (skin deep) transformations,
which cannot reboot major organs
allowing elderly to rock with van
halen again, since primary maximal apex
i.e. post adolescence/
early adulthood marked urban
boisterous antics, the tacitly accepted behavior,
that would appear down right foolish
as if elders played kick the can
if chronologically old geezers let Mother Nature
rightfully round up steering committee
gently rowing rickety ship of lovely bones
dutifully paying (chump change) to the bargeman.
This is a true story- no names have been changed to protect the idiot........
Nb- * - a car bonnet is a hood in the United states.

On my way back from the pub
(since real ale is my passion)
slowly wending my way home
in a wibbly-wobbly fashion
in the road sat something small-
I almost passed it by,
camouflaged in darkness
by a cloudy moonless sky.
I could tell it was a Hedgehog
simply by it's silhouette,
and if it didn't move real soon
would get squashed flat, I'll bet.
Just then a hundred yards away
a pair of lights appeared
heading our way at a pace
exactly as I'd feared.
Instinct kicked in, and out I leapt
to the middle of the road
waving my arms frantically as
I switched to 'Hero' mode.
He hit the brakes just feet away
and wound his window down
"get out the way, you Prat!" he yelled
but I just pointed down, and said
"Hedgehog!!" (which he couldn't see,
his bonnet* was in the way),
"Just hang on while I shift it, mate"
was all that I could say.
So, bending down to rescue it
still sat between my feet
my heart sank as I focussed in
then finally missed a beat.
The Hedgehog I had risked my life
to save it by removing
was, in fact, from off a washing machine
a piece of rubber tubing.
Not wishing too look foolish
I just hid it with my sleeves
and slowly walked off to the kerb,
the car began to leave.
Angrily into the air I kicked the pipe before me,
a big mistake- in his rear view mirror
the car driver he saw me,
and hit the brakes, then jumped out yelling
( I remember, although quite plastered)
"That's cruelty to an animal! Come here, you heartless person** !
In hot pursuit back up the road
he came- the chase was on,
I wasn't going to hang about, in seconds I was gone,
vaulting over garden walls and dodging through the gates
then out of breath I hid myself, till he had gone, I'd wait.
Mud splattered with my trousers torn I reached home, panic over,
the ordeal I'd just been through was a great way to get sober.
So next time wildlife is in peril, maybe I won't hurry,
I'll carry on and stagger home-
let Mother Nature worry.
I am with Her
I am here all alone, listening, waiting, not knowing when the gentle presence will call.
Rocking in my favorite recliner, meditating, then the call beckons me to follow.
Walking out of my house hearing the screen door slam, I follow her call.
Crossing a busy street, I follow to the dirt path set before me as it to beckons me onward.
I turn on my favorite classic music, I listen with my headphones and wonder where she is?
Walking this dirt path, I began to feel her presences engulfing me as my music crescendo.
I fall to my knees crying and crying in deep sobs for her presence overwhelms me with pure Love and gentle kindness.
She senses this and slowly leaves.
I get up and look at the wonder that is before me?
Then the full Majesty of her was on display, it is her, Gaia, Mother Nature!
Her beautiful life is all around me, and through me, it brought me back to my knees, crying once again.
Her presence engulfs me again with her gentle kindness and her Love, and she calms my Soul.
She whispers to me that we are now connected and wants me to visit her often.
Sky seem to touch the distant ocean
Vastness surpassed my limited vision.
Sky and Sea were with me in unison,
as I walked on sandy- rocky beach.
Waves, rolling, roaring, rising high
amusing silent witness azure sky.
Sky-blue? Ocean-green? Which thread to apply,
for veil of Mother Nature to stitch?
Petrichor of wet sand particles I smelt
crawling crabs, corals and clams I met,
moistened windy breeze over sea I felt,
pleasant pretty charms to make me rich.
Overwhelming beauty of sea, I visualized,
on depth of emotion I was mesmerized,
too small was my existence, I just realized,
appealing to any one or each.
Where the sky drifts into the sea
Vastness, wideness, enchanted me,
so ridiculous my quark-type identity,
Eternal Divinity to reach?
