Once a year
in the early spring
I scatter some reclaimed
seeds
from a section of yard
where the wild flowers grow --
a reserved place, there
left unattended
how they bloom, all on
their own
where the wild flowers
bloom,
a welcome to early bees
and butterflies
the old black cat seems to like
them as well
a nestled, deadly shadow, all comfy
in a lap of blazing, garnished nature
stroked by the southerly
tempering breeze
God! he has such allergies,
the poor little beast's, watery
eyes...
yet, every year
while I scatter
he seems to dream
faithfully
Lucifer, scourge of mice!
for a budding' moment, exculpated!
as a wand, my magician' hand
glides over the the future
materialized bed
seeding memories
long gone but not forgotten
when I was also omnipotent
demurely purring
one of the wild flowers
heedless of seasons
and the sentence of time --
If for one week each man could be mother,
then men might think as mothers think.
Could you stand the life
Say of being your own wife?
Dirty dishes do not belong in the sink.
For one week, all men should run the home;
trade places with the cook for a real trip.
Think of planning every meal,
mashing potatoes with no peel.
Did you fix the faucet that’s started to drip?
You’d change the beds and clean the clothes,
of rust, blood, and ink there’d be no trace.
Be a mind reader at times
solving children’s crimes,
you’d show your children God and his grace.
Part magician, part clown, part traffic cop,
you’d give birth, nurse all who need care.
Respond to each cry,
answer every “why?”,
know how to get bubble gum out of hair.
Of the women I’ve known who’ve been mothers
by men they can’t be supplanted.
Trade-offs are fun to ponder
and can make us wonder
why on earth men take mothers for granted.
Who knew that the reward of my patience shall be so exquisite
Just like a Trance of spring in winter. A hope in darkness
A fairy entered, lightning up the horizons of my dull life
She taught me how to write so that I could describe her, day and night
All my emotions, thoughts and passions
Recite a tale of her magnificence
My pen write the words which are suppose to be uttered by lips
In an ink filled with love capturing memories of this lovely life
In the alignment of stars, I see her face half hidden behind a transparent veil
At dawn, the birds and the moon sing the orchestra of our beautiful tale
Her smile is what gives strength to this broken heart of mine
She taught me how to be in love so that I perceive everything as bright
Deep in her love, I admire her everyday by considering it as my duty
My phrases are nothing more than a vague attempt to define the glory of her beauty
Just like the keys of a piano, each word enlisting her enchantment on a higher note
There are a myriad poems on her where each line sings a unique song
Her eyes sparkle like diamonds in drunken night
And Her face radiates a glow which would put the moon to shame
It is as if a magician has casted a spell of elegance over her
And her body appears to be the masterpiece of a famous artist
Her voice resonates deep within me
Her loyalty stands by me in my darkest days
Her mere presence is the peace of my heart
She taught me how to be free so that nature could show mercy on me
How my heart desires to never put an end to this love
If I had the power to create a world it would have been of mine and hers
A love story of two souls destined to be together
In my private Universe, I would be Romeo and she my Juliet
Nature is magical, mystical and magnificent. Be inspired every day.
Perfectly formed

When last did you stop and notice
The perfection in the leaves?
The beauty of the flowers?
The scent of Nature's blessings in the breeze?
The perfectly formed tree stands tall
Surrounded by the adulation of wildflowers
The perfectly formed garden on a hill
Nature is magnificent and wields her powers
She creates sunflowers with sunny faces
She creates sand dunes that move and play
Fields and deserts, oases and forests
She is magical and creative
When last did you stop and notice
The mysterious allure of a wave?
Its life is over in an instant
And yet it still runs towards its Fate
Every perfectly formed wave
Is replaced by the next in line
We are in awe of the majesty
That is our ocean so sublime
Nature is a guardian
Nature is amazing
Nature is a magician
Nature is a soulful craving
Please stop and embrace the magic
Notice the butterflies and the bees
See dragonflies and ladybirds
Experience flora and fauna with ease
For we come from Nature
We are made to live within her space
We are perfectly formed by Source
And Nature is part of our DNA

We share your strength, you and I. You are there before me, urging me on.
There to pull me over the finish line when all my strength is gone.
You guided me to complete the task when I was too weary to try.
You showed me the easiest way when trophies were not the reason why.
I put my faith in you when we were about to fall, and you held me tight.
With sure footing we weathered the storm and it all came out right.
Like a magician, you pulled a smile from my very deepest frown.
You created a diversion from any disaster on the way, and never let me down.
When life became a tug of war, and I began to lose some hope,
your wise words encouraged me and there you were pulling on the rope.
Our partnership has taken its twists and turns you were the strongest bloke.
Its time for me to be there right behind you, pushing to overcome that stroke.
We work together you and I just as we always do, our determination so full
Encouragement and trust it hasn't waned and now maybe its my turn to pull.
I love you darling and always will, as its always going to be, quite secretly,
Because despite what's happened we both know, its still you pulling me.
On the day I met your smiling facade, I should have guessed
That you are a mapless labyrinth, an enigma clothed in the false light of evening,
A guide to wanderings, where my steps lost their echo,
And your gaze, a deserted lighthouse, left me to navigate in the starless dark.
Fate carried me to you, a shipwreck promised from the start,
To learn the art of rebuilding from the ruins of my soul,
To paint dawns over my dark nights, to clothe my days
In the colors of sunrise, in an endless spectacle of rebirth.
Become all you wish, in the whirl of change or the calm of stagnation,
I, unchanged in my essence, will remain steadfast in a love that crosses eternities,
Even when you chose to turn my feeling into a doomed chess game,
Leaving my heart to burn on the altar of your unshared passion.
You became the executioner of my feelings, a magician juggling flames,
You abandoned me in your labyrinth, leaving me to melt in your obsession,
From my ashes, to raise a seed of hope, to harvest happiness as forbidden fruit,
While I, turned into fertile ground, will nourish the roots of a new beginning.
On the altar of silence, where the echoes of love fade into the mist of oblivion,
I became a pilgrim in search of light, crossing the dense forests of longing,
Within me, a universe opens, a gate to unseen worlds,
Where each step is an incantation, and every breath, a song of renewal.
In this hidden sanctuary, where reality intertwines with dream,
Your love, once a living flame, now a falling star in my twilight,
I learn to dance among the shadows of memories, to carve my destiny
From the magic of silence, turning every scar into a sacred sign of wisdom.
Love is an illusion, deceiving woman and man,
Like a magician eluding the eye with the hand.
We are trapped by the one whom we befriend,
Only to be left alone with no beginning, no end.
The heart is severed, chest is tight,
The essence of life, given up without a fight.
We experience the same love but in different ways,
And are captured and tormented for the rest of our days.
Like fools we walk, seeking desire's water,
And fall in love, with someone's son or daughter.
With happiness accompanying love at the start,
Only to laugh, as love tears us apart.
The sweet mellow sound that we once heard before,
Suddenly stops and the tune is no more.
Is love an illusion, here to settle an old score?
To quicken our journey towards death's door?
Love is an illusion that duped both you and I,
And will remain an illusion long after we die.....
In the silken night, when the moon hides shyly
behind velvet clouds, I hear your call in a whisper
lost in the melancholic howl of the wind,
and I think of my true name, the one you wish to know,
not the one given by my mother, a silent memory of unfulfilled dreams,
but the one that says I lightly touched something divine,
that I lived too long in the sticky abyss of addiction,
that I was a diver of heights, piercing
the thin veil of reality, that I was once a magician,
a weaver of incantations, an alchemist who found gold hidden in the sunset.
We danced among the floating clouds of eastern mornings,
when the sun caressed the horizon with gentle rays,
my suit of light glowing in shades of yellow, orange, and red,
and we lay at the foot of summer night, in chocolate darkness,
with dew shining like stardust in your hair,
and I was the shadow of a cloud flying above Yellowstone Valley,
on the cold mountain wind's wings, vanishing
over the near horizon, a dream lost at dawn.
This is my name, everything and more than I can remember,
I know you will keep every moment, every thrill, every magical instant,
for my name is written in the stars, in the dance of clouds,
in the call of the night wind, and in every whisper
we share, a name woven from the threads of time
and unfulfilled desires, traveling through memories
and dreams that never fade.
I enjoy my gnomes
They live in my garden
Every day I look out
Keeping watch on them
To make sure they're safe

Each one has a name
Jack the mountain climber
He scales the alps at a slow pace
Never reaches the top
Yet he never gives up
Tom is happy to play soccer
He plays every day
Rain or shine he goes
To join his team mates
On the soccer field
Fred is a magician
He practices all the time
For a show twice a week
It's for the sick children
They enjoy his many talents
These are my gnomes
Each one is special
Doing their own thing
Each enjoy a different role
passing time in my garden
"Small Wars in Paradise"
A small war in paradise
where the walls
are dripping
hearts pinned
with golden words
A ghost behind
the eyes of a Fate
shines a light
on the self-righteous
misinformed deux Moirai,
advocatus diaboli -
what remains,
The Devil’s Advocates
blinded in the eye
the dull intentioned
Assizes
Intervention
comes at a small cost
for the Soul
they think is lost
Tomorrow always delivers,
The Goods.
Small wars in Paradise
where sharp swords cut
blunt forked tongues
beating tattoos in time
to a betrayal of trust
a banshee assassin
it’s a relative choice
Won
Lost
A ghost behind the eyes
haunts the hallowed halls
of manipulative minds
holding black diamonds and spades
digging what was, is now dust
in both hands
bloodied,
murdering the past
one day at a time
slowly smiling
holding the crass dead
in a deep holed heart
now becomes the
smoking refined blunderbust
executing sentences
orchestral manouvres
in a dark knight mind
a banshee assassin
it’s a relative choice
The Woman Won
The Past Lost
all in good time...
