'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse....'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Tis the season for the yules of good tidings
For soon is the day in which we celebrate
The birth of Our Lord....
Whom laid in a manger beneath the smiling stars
As the Angels rejoiced from near and afar
While as the sheperds they came
And the wise men brought gifts
Of gold and myrrh, and frankincence
But the babies eyes, they just gazed into the night
As His mother Mary, she pondered such light....
For how could this be that a virgin bore child
Which Gabriel the mighty, had promised with a smile
The savior of the world, amid the fruit of her womb
To bring salvation to all, before entering His tomb....
For the baby He knew, his forth coming plight
His purpose, the promise, from His Father on high!
And 'tis the season that we soon celebrate this day
As our hearts look toward the heaven
Our souls, knowing the way....
Exchanging gifts and songs of praise
Smiles upon faces, and love unrestrained
Amid a world that is darkened
We adorn these trees that we've made
With colorful lights that glisten
And hopes of salvation, that shall never abate!
For today unto us 'A King is Born'~
Forever removing the death, by the curtain torn....
Within a small manger, amid the town Bethlehem
The eyes of an infant, and the joys of all man?
'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
Rejoicing in the silence and knowing inside
The womb of Elizabeth....
Where John the baptist, he lept with delight!
While as the Angels proclaimed, unto all of this life
Glory unto God, and good will, before all of their eyes~
As this child named Jesus, He never cried....
This prince, the king...."The King of All Tides"
Merry Christmas unto all, and to all, a blessed night!
Premium Member Inside Out
In the basement of our house
Was a workshop
Of gray tools
And the smell of 3-in-1 oil
There under the steady glare
Of florescent lighting
My father
Worked.
Whenever he called me downstairs
It was to talk
About something important
Or a mistake I made
After every few sentences
He would adjust his glasses
And pause
To make sure I understood every word he said
A habit
He had until the day he died.
Speaking with determination
He told me never to lie
You may think people don't listen
He said
But inside they do
The mind
Works
Like a sponge
It remembers everything
Even when we get tired and forget.
So remember
Nobody likes a liar.
I first saw Susan walking
Down the street
Head held high
Graceful
I tried catching up with her
But she was quicker
Than I was
We met again when she dropped her keys
Picking them up
I told her
She was the most beautiful woman I ever met
A slight exaggeration
An innocent white lie
But a lie nevertheless.
Soon we were together
Clothes on
Clothes off
The new found
Thrill
Of intimacy
Was intoxicating.
In small bits
Day by day
Freedom evaporated
And our lives
Became hopelessly twisted
In an undertow
Of life, money,
Apartment
Problems and future
I wasn't honest with myself
And deep down inside
I never knew
What I was hiding
Or how fragile a relationship could be.
One night she asked if I knew
Anything about roses
I barely stammered a what?
Roses symbolize love, sympathy and
Elegant beauty
She said
But they're one of the most fragile flowers
Ever
They can turn brown and die
From a chill in the air.
I fell asleep on the couch that night
Getting up in the morning
I saw the made up bed
And in the kitchen
Nestled between coffee and sugar
Was an envelope
With my name
Scrawled in clear
Bold handwriting
My hands shook
As I reached for the envelope
The urge
To leave it unread
Was strong
Until suddenly, I tore it open
And read it through
From top to bottom
Over and over again.
Catching my breathe I sat down
Enfolded
In the strange quiet
Of an empty apartment
Wondering how different things might have been
Had I not told white lies.
The Fire (Marked To Be a Human Dragon Part Ii)
New sedan tracked into the wet puddle on the sharp bend
Grasping for breath the engine choked to die splattering
Wheels crunched jerking to stop by the grassy pavement
Hitting the ignition time and again to revive the stalled car;
Lonely the road snaked up the mountain side into the mist.
On the horizon the sun fought back the night as it drowned
Braving the cold I stepped out adjusting my overcoat collars
As the winds howled to click the door close with a soft ease;
For the past hour driving madly I had not seen a single soul
Hoping to find a shelter for the night I was forced to move on
Walking fast I just crossed the hill edge to see a fire glowing
High up on the ledge as the trees danced to its magical blaze;
A half moon cast its silvery light on the barren mountain path
Stepping into its unevenness I stirred slowly climbing upward
Captivated thus I felt her move under the dragon etched skins
Highlighting my fear that the dream was bursting into my life;
‘Who goes there’ awakened me to the reality of seeking a roof.
An old man with a white long beard struggled to hold the stick
‘Come by the fire I grow old as the prophecy brings you here,
Take her to be your mate for she longs to meet her chosen one.’
Suddenly he grows wings and in a flash flies into the dark sky
Amazed I bite my left knuckles to cry out in the dreamy trance
Soft giggles of laughter vanish into a silence as the fire crackles.
Within shadows behind the flames bushes grow along the cavity.
In stillness the night grows warm as snow flakes begin their fall
Smothering the fire as embers smoke to grow cold covered white,
Pushing my self against the cleft, camouflage gives away the cave
I move into the dark labyrinth each step brightening the light glow.
Snuggling with in soft white furs I gaze struck by the blue eyed girl
Lips move the silence, as I obey her command ready to ignite desire
Under the skin my dragon etch goes crazy as I sit by her stone bed
Time stops, she touches her lips to mine exploding a burning need.
Aflame I burst in uncontrolled ruptures of ecstasy to fire the mind.
Belly ablaze as the body is ransomed to slavers infinite dragon fire.
Drowning In Love Part 2
she got safe and very fast,
he slept out in the boat because he wanted the night to last,
unfortunatley he didnt know the boat had a leak,
by the time as sunrise he died and lies at the bottom of the creek,
at 7am she woke up and ate breakfast then rode her bike by his house,
she knocked on the door, no one answer it was so quite she could hear a mouse,
she went back to the river but as she arrived she noticed there was a big crowd,
and the whole town was there but it was his mother crying out loud,
she dropped her bike and ran with a ball of speed,
asked his mother whats the matter? " she said my heart bleeds"
so she pause and look to the left and placed her hands on her head,
there he was her lover lying on the ground dead,
she ran to him hugging him crying "saying baby dont do this please talk to me",
get up come on stop it this is not funny,
friends gathered around to move her when the y saw the undertaker,
when he tried to cover his body she broke away and layed on top of him they
needed her to move but they couldnt make her,
they held her face down it began to rain,
she wiggled but couldnt break free so she watched him got carryed away in great
pain,
everyone soon after left but she stayed until night crying,
she said i feel very much alive but i also feel like dying,
she saw the very same boat up on the grass wiped her eyes and began to blink,
she went in it knowing it would sink,
she knew she had to die to see him again so she didnt hesitate,
as the boat sank she closed her eyes and kept her faith,
before she reached the bottom she felt her spirit left her body,
she felt this hand lifting her up to the dock and there he was......it was bobby,
he was holding her and calling her name in a loud voice like he was screaming it,
then she woke up in the fields next to him calling her name he said its ok i'm her she
cried and began to smile she realized it was fake..................she was just dreaming
it............................
Burning within
Desires..
True Love
We both know
As You read my writes
I read yours
Within our hearts
Tis Enchanting delights
Forever more
Reading each others coms..
Feelings deeep within hearts
Want to beholding
Within Each others arms
Enchanting moments
Wish upon a Star
Wish a may..
Wish a might..
That I Come through this computer
For You to be..
holding.. me tight
Smile..
Only if there was a way
that this could be
As I would love..
As I see..
you would Love too..
For this to be
Just to be
Out of this computer
Into your Sweeet
Tender-Loving arms
Beholding Each-other
True Love endures
Sweeet.. as Heaven
Beholding True Love..
Shall Always Stay..
Just to see.. you smiling at me
To hear your sweeeet voice
Just to walk.. to run
Holding hands.. Sharing.. Caring
Spending time..  Our Hearts
Loving in the sun
Staying all day together
Then Dancing the night away
I wish.. could be
Out of this computer
and then able to be
With-In Your World
As I know.. You Wish too
I don't know when
I don't know how
As we watch and see
Someday shall be
Out of this computer
Within Your World
As You be within mine
Sweeeet as Heaven all time..
Forever holding on
As You.. my Darling too
Wishing upon a Star
God allows us to be
Within this world
Together..
Blessings of True Love
Forever-lasting
God Only Knows.. the Times..
No More
I guess I had been just a little too late,
How did our love get sabotaged and so quickly slip away.
I tried to resurrect what was lost,
It was such a beautiful thought.
You let love fall listlessly by the wayside,
If I could have moved faster could it have been caught?
There’s no prescription for the pain,
 Sitting high up on this ridge.
I can’t bridge the gap now between us,
Yet still I had more that I could give.
No more holding hands,
There will be no more one last kiss.
No more late night candle lit diners,
There’s no more first star of the night where we would wish.
I guess this book now has been read,
The story has now grown cold.
I guess I missed a few chapters.
I didn’t think this was the way it would unfold.
When I look your way and see your heart,
 Now I only see a closed door.
The facts are all there.
It’s all gone there’s no more.
The rain has now stopped falling,
Still it so cloudy here outside.
You have packed up and taken all your belongings,
This has been such an emotional ride.
You were kind enough to give me back my heart,
It’s back in my hands but ripped in two.
I guess it will take awhile to mend,
I guess I just stay out here and wait it through.
Quiet conversations over coffee,
Well now they are all long gone.
No more dancing slow in the living room,
Listening to our favourite song.
There’s no prescription for the pain,
 Sitting high up on this ridge.
I can’t bridge the gap now between us,
Yet still I had more that I could give.
No more holding hands,
There will be no more one last kiss.
No more late night candle lit diners,
There’s no more first star of the night where we would wish.
Weeping Willow
Weeping Willow
The way your toes curl when you first wake up, yes I have been there to see this.
The way your nose wrinkles as you start to laugh, to this also I have been witness.
You twirl your hair and click your teeth when deep thoughts keep you guessing
And the way your eyes alight with flame when no longer the answers are vexing
Your lips pucker without thought of a kiss when something to you is amusing
About the crazy ideas that I might be having or a book you might be perusing.
I have seen you in the embers of a raging fire, and on the waves that crash upon the shore
I have heard you in the whisper of a windswept leaf as it dances upon the forest floor
I have felt you within a single drop of rain that nature brings to cleanse the earth
I have tasted no greater flavor than this, the nectar garnered from a true loves birth
I have smelled your beauty within the aroma of jasmine, honey, mint and Cinnamon
I have known you from the dawn of time, the cadence of two hearts abridged as one
And when you go to bed at night for some reason my shirts are more comfortable
Than the many things in the past I bought you that your lips told me were unaffordable.
And I have dried the tears that flowed from your eyes when agony came to break your heart
Your brows would furrow as sleep would take you, tomorrow would bring a brand new start
But regardless of this and nonetheless you snuggle in close and at night you shift your pillow
To the cooler side the place that brings solace on the opposite poll of the weeping willow
Premium Member Fantasy of Love
Way deep in the forest where everything is green
A place where two people can answer their dream
It truly seems to my wife and I, as it so often does
 Only find what is if you search through what was
Our love is a story full of true mystical delight
She is the fair maiden and I am the brave knight
Our love is worth more than all the kings’ gold
For what good is wealth if theirs no one to hold
This forest is beaming it is beaming with life
As I gaze upon the beauty known as my wife
The crickets are playing their own special tune
As a lone wolf howls to the beat of the moon
The ground is covered in a blanket of white
As her and I slide into the hot tub of delight
I looked in her eyes and got lost in the dream
As we offered the night the heat of our steam
Like a kettle that whistles and then starts to blow
The fire of our desire could melt all the snow
I used to be a slave bound to my own lust
My soul was a whatnot all covered in dust
I’ve had many fantasies that I’m not proud of
Peaking and tweaking in the arms of a dove
They always left me feeling very empty and cold
At the end of the night there was nothing to hold
Those days are gone they are all in the past
In my wife I have found love that will last
My wife is a gift from the good Lord above
She is also the fantasy that holds all my love
A Flower Through the Snow
A Flower Through the Snow (or The Traveler)
--
Why is it always the merriment that’s rattling at the door,
In the middle of the day that keeps the night at war?
If only you could open up and let this traveller in,
There could be a-something done about hushing up this din.
There’s a bottle sure, an open sore, the salt of seven seas,
White lines lay upon on the shore from brow creasing pleas.
Well first it’s a little, little sorry then it’s just little more,
‘Til the book finds a new page - now who’s this written for?
Why’d you bury the bones and start thinking they were treasure,
And dig ‘em back up and find the horror not the pleasure.
Is it startled reassurance that the truth ain’t in the flesh?
Well it ain’t in the bones too if there’s no cartilage to mesh.
Now all the chorus girls know a thing or two about this
That night weary wanders see only blue for bliss
As they’re walking through the day putting night sighs to test
Shaking stuck fallen leaves from shady places where you rest
Shut your eyes, go to sleep, though there are a thousand things
To do before tomorrow when winter’s cold voice sings
Can you let this traveller in while there’s still flame in the fire?
Ask to hear his story but if you know it he won’t tell yer
Wait there warm, sit there childish, wait until the new spring.
If he’s asks you the way or to see just say it’s something
In your smile, so stick around it may show, might grow
Like a song in the belly, like a flower through the snow.
