The Will of the Seamstress
the will of the seamstress connecting her heart to the seams
reveal the incanttations of her dreams
in the still of the night by desires calling
day shaken awake from the slumber of sleep falling
nocturnal attention astute, as if to answer the hoots of an owl
while imagination of a practiced craft bewitches the hour of the wolfs howl
hands dancing across the wall, shadows waltzing around each other
in the grasp of a moonlit night the outside would the darkness smother
undaunted by the midnight, darkness surrounding the land like an ocean
she holds stedfast to her tapestry claimed by her own devotion
