Shenika Sims and Marty King: Going In Circles In My Mind

SHENIKA SIMS

going in circles in my mind
jumping over puddles
doing carwheels in multiples of three
thinking of you can't you see
my artwork has more positive themes
my heart medicinally skips beats so it seems
cannot wait to pack suitcases
go so many outfits, bathing suits, and...shoot....clothes to look through
i cannot believe this kind of love i feel for you
i feel like a trampoline with lipstick because i wanna jump your bones
see, you got me saying silly (edit) like that
i am thinking quite unladylike thoughts right now as a matter of fact
however you have been respectful and for the first time in a long time i feel like a lady
renewed, revitalized, and reborn....going in circles in my mind

MARTY KING

going in circles in my mind
got sam cook requesting cupid to draw back that bow
well miss cupid shot straight for my brain and woke me up
the first lovely vision i saw when i did....well....was you
while thinking of you, i find myself feebly attempting to skip rocks in a lake
i find myself jumping up and all up in the spirit making the earth shake and quake
i look at the clouds and see forms of arrows through hearts and people kissing
it took me about twenty some odd years to realize that it is you that i've been missing
while others were steadily moving, here in this dusty corner i sat
i cannot believe that i chose to do ridiculously senseless stuff like that
oh yeah, i am thinking thoughts like a dude, but i choose to sincerely respect you
furthermore, you have been so accepting of Me as My Self, and i have never experienced that as a man
renovated, recognized, and reborn....going in circles in my mind

Premium Member A Miracle Angel

I love the sweet thought of your arms
softly circling around
the neck touching deep
Looking into your eyes jewels
shines inside this mind

You're the sunshine
golden enchanting dewdrops
awakening with each new day
Melting warmly milk and honey
together is so sweet to the tongue

So are the words of endearment
to the heart gently sings sweetly
melting beautiful warm honey
drunken inside golden mead

kissing your beauty love
when the coins fell into place
One beholding joy
happiness a jackpot treasure forever
will shine all over you always

If only I could appear lost
found within your dreams
needing you my love
Like the air one breathes
gasping hot finding paradise
with you who gave me wings to fly

A Child Again

I want to be a child again.
I want to skip down the glen, singing
Here We Go Gathering Nuts In May.
 Holding Daddy's hand in mine.

I want to know I'm loved.
That someone is watching over me.
 Bandaging cuts, kissing bruises better.
Making sure I have my tea.

I want to learn to swim again.
Ring A Ring A Rosie....we all fall down.
Until I learn to hold my breath.
 Then doggie paddle...then float.
 I'm free in the sea.

I want to play hide and seek.
Try not to giggle until I'm found.
To climb The Mount, then roll down.
To be back in school, with Miss Mc Cloon.
Learning my ABC's and Do Re Mee's.

I want mum to cuddle me.
 Call me her "Wee Angel."
Dad to hoist me on his shoulders.
 So I can see...360 degrees.

Wobbling on a grown up's bike.
 Down the school lane.
 Big brother Derek
 holding on behind ,then
 letting go....laughing,
 as I glance behind....terrified.

If I could start again,
I would revel in it all.
Being grown up is no fun,
when little ones are getting tall.
 and you are responsible for
 keeping them on the ball.

I want to be a child again.

Confusion

You called it confusion.
A. We'll call her subject A when I was 10 years old I had this friend who liked to have sleep overs but wanted me to hold her, she was a good girl. she would trace circles on my inner hip and tell me everything and I'd wake up to her head on my arm. I wouldn't move till she did. She got a bf who wanted to take her virginity and treated her badly so I stopped talking to her. Cut ties and never looked back.
B . We'll call her b. I'm 13-14 she likes to kiss me on the school bus and infront of her friends but she's not into girls unless she's getting attention, she has my shirt up and I'm laying on her bed, she says my chest is small and teases me then she's burning me with a lighter and I'm confused because she doesn't like me but I feel pleasure. She wants to start drinking and smoking and I know that's not the type of person I am so I leave and never look back she moved anyway. Anyway.
C. We'll call her C . I'm 16. She's my friend and I drank for the first time and her hands are on my thighs and she's kissing me and my hands on her throat and I'm shaking. What the . It's only a game. You know. She has a Man. I'm bleeding in the bathroom. My excuse.
D. Let's call her D. I'm 18 and she's telling me she loves me but only when the blinds are closed.
E. Let's call her E. she's seen me naked. She's felt my body and told me she loves me. She likes being held but her boyfriend doesn't treat her right. She "loves me" but only if he can join us You know . he touches my breast and she's moaning as I'm cringing and I'm crying myself to sleep after scrubbing my skin for hours.
I'm 22. And I'm loved and I'm somewhat stable and I don't have any friends because I have the most ed up sense of attachment. I'm not sorry. I can't be your friend.

Premium Member On Kissing the Blarney Stone

"There is a stone there, that whoever kisses, OH! He never misses, to grow eloquent" Author not mentioned at link to Blarney Stone - Blarney Castle

I walk the path amid the trees
Where footsteps even now are tread,
where ancient stones of Blarney please,
and lips upon the stone have wed.

 Enchanting are the turrets here
bedecked in autumn's vines of red,
the little stream that wanders near,
and steps to where I'm being led.

The Blarney stone at last I see,
so bending backwards now to kiss
the stone, my friend is holding me.
That’s not a mark I want to miss!

I have a thought;   I now can say
my mouth has touched where many more
have touched upon this stone of gray.
How many thousands came before?

Inside the marrow of my bones,
I feel a thrill . Will eloquence
be mine from having kissed this stone?
I feel a chill of reverence!

Premium Member In the Artistry of Imagination

In the distance of her dreams,
she whispers for her beloved.

Her yearnings speak to him like poetry,
he has not engraved before,
as he hungers for her to caress him,
like sapphire seas kissing golden sands.

In the artistry of imagination,
in the absence of judgement,
in the naivety of their hearts

enamored eyes reflect like gems
in euphoric enchantment,
enticing their minds to meander,
momentarily kindling,
merging like waves dancing in the wind.
Drifting with the tide, dousing sensual embers,
ripples of passion, desire to remain lost at sea -
ship wrecked in an exotic lover's lagoon.

In the fantasy of fiction,
in the reality of non fiction,
romance has no barriers,
infatuation has no boundaries.

Premium Member The Butcher Shop

Mohamed and Khaled
The best butcher shop in town
In the deception of silence
they butcher those with sound

Voices against their Kingdom
they fear and do not like
Raping their women with modern views
while butchering a protesting man

Both Prince, King and pork herder
Vehement denials throughout the land
Yes the color of red, proof of blood in their sand
In the shoes of Aysha, these cowards cant even stand

Intoxicated Salman, butchered an innocent man
as Trump applauds, the free press in a grave
situation... Tyrants kissing and holding hands
A thousand lashes, to the butchers of Riyadh

Prince Mohamed be damned

Premium Member Definite Maybe

Do you want to have a baby?

I'll give you a definite maybe.
Babies can cry and scream so loud.
Three in one house can make a small crowd.
I hope I'm not clearly misunderstood,
just unsure I'm ready for fatherhood.
You and I may be old jalopies,
but we suffice - original copies.
We could be relaxing on the grass,
not changing diapers of liquid gas.

Wait, it's time for you to cop a plea
in what seems a tragic comedy.
I never knew, when I started kissing,
your birth control pills had been found missing.
It seems that your little pill pack
has been fully empty - pills, it does lack,
and it's an open secret on the block
     that I've become a laughingstock,
and I suppose you're thinking, honey,
     that this is seriously funny.

Nine months later, she said smugly,
it can't be yours, you're pretty ugly.

Premium Member Maybe - POTD

Maybe I was too terse with my replies,
But that was the way I was made.
I have no fervour to apologise.

Maybe I should have dated you so much more,
Heck, could a leopard change its spots?
     I always was like that.

Maybe I should have whispered sweet nothings,
Like I love you dear, my sweet.
But that was not actually me.

Maybe I should have kissed you more,
But mine were just mere pecks,
     Like hens kissing each other.

Maybe I should phone you immediately
But that would be surrendering to my faults.
Yet I was not an arrogant man.

Maybe that was her ringing my doorbell,
I opened the door for her.
     Tears streaming down her cheeks.

Maybe a moonlight shone from outside
And blinded me, so I hugged her.
Our kiss on the lips lasted so long.

There is no maybe now or ever, for we
Will plight our vows with love
     Forever.

My Supreme Goddess Thou Art

I can see Heaven clearly whilst gazing deeply in your eyes now,
Where the sweet caramel melts deliciously into heartbeats pure.

The radiant light of our eternal love dwells deep within our hearts,
As our souls are captivated by God’s aura of divine enchantment.

A nirvana fills our destiny as passionate lovers kissing softly so,
Mesmerized by the enraptured emotions we forever shareth as one.

A wild wondrous wallflower you are—shining now ever brightly,
As that angelic spirit in mortal presence on Earth by God’s hand.

Dearest one I sayeth truly now my supreme goddess thou art,
As we holdeth one another in an ardent embrace by God’s grace.

The fiery passion of our forever love is a pure beam of silken starlight,
Which bathes the darkest depths of the cosmos in a heavenly radiance.

What more can two people hope for in this world of finite limitations?
Our shared love and rich emotions form the destiny we seek with God.
