Premium Member The Paradox of Love

There is one constant in this world, it’s all around for us to see.
It can show you each one of your failures, or a future that will never be.

Every aspect will be affected, sometimes good and sometimes bad.
This constant will always remind us of a life that we once had.

How long can any of us suffer, how many tears can we cry?
Will heartstrings reattach, should we even really try?

Can one moment full of passion ever fix the price of light?
Is true love worth the exit, or will it just fade into the night?

To have love unbridled with loss, is like a cloud absent of rain.
You can’t have one without the other, and the cost is always pain.

Is it better to have loved and lost if it rips your world apart?
If your quest is for the truth, then just ask a broken heart.

Premium Member Soul Transmutation

Our consciousness is resident in this here mind-body combine
Inner conflict ends, when head and heart meld, with love align
Erst fears and desires too, automatically fade away
No sooner we opt to make bliss divine our mainstay
All that remains is a deep yearning, as love for love does pine

Poised in the vast, vibrant void, in a time stretched continuum
Divine electricity benign, cleanses last traces of ego residuum
Mindful eye distils subtle cravings of our lower mind
Playfully celebrating life, succumbing not to it’s bind
Each in-form node, then thus transmuted as a bliss sensorium

Premium Member My Worst Enemy, Behind My Eyes

I catch my own eyes in the bathroom mirror
before I even turn the cold water on.
I watch every quiet, hopeful plan I made
get quietly picked apart and gone.

I wear this skin, I answer to my name,
I’m the author of every doubt I hide.
I pull down my own small victories
and stand my own worst foe, inside.

When 5 a.m. hits with its pale blue light
and promises a second chance to try,
I drag out old mistakes from years ago
just to give myself a reason why.

I tell myself I am not man enough,
that every step forward is a fake,
that the moment things get steep or real
I’ll bend beneath the weight and break.

I sit at my desk in the afternoon slump,
building a maze out of unread mail.
I lock the doors, throw away the keys,
and then wonder why I’m set to fail.

I dissect every single word I said,
turning harmless moments into debt.
I don't need anyone to tear me down,
I haven't even given myself a chance yet.

And yet I'm the one who holds the pen,
the one who keeps writing out the fear.
If I'm the architect of all this noise,
I'm the only one who can clear it from here.

Premium Member Conflicting Thoughts

she is scarred so deeply inside
yet she chooses to remain beautiful
gloom of darkness engulfs her
yet she dons a mask of brightness
stab of humiliation slices her
yet she attempts to bandage her wounds

in her solitary moments
she keeps wondering
if her life is worth living
and the war she is waging, worth the struggle

she is a pearl locked in an oyster
but unless someone digs it out
its lustre will be lost to the world
and shall perish in the caverns of the sea

trapped and enslaved......
will she break the shell herself and come out?
from slushy swamps,
will she be able to walk to gilded palaces?
from a pawn on the chessboard,
will she ever rise as the reigning queen?

such thoughts torment her from inside
even when she knows she is beautiful in and out
and her worth is beyond measure

she can’t bear to be treated as a tiny bug
to be swatted at and done away with!

Premium Member My Foolish Heart

Oh, God, please check this foolish heart of mine
Deceitful* according to the Scriptures
I trust Your Word while to Your will incline
Striving to please You along faith ventures.

Deceitful according to the Scriptures
My arrogant heart needs Your forgiveness
Striving to please You along faith ventures
Against pangs of attacking haughtiness.

My arrogant heart needs Your forgiveness
Smiting folly of false humility
Against pangs of attacking haughtiness
Midst grievous downfall-caused anxiety.

Smiting folly of false humility
Your holiness, Lord, graciously prevails
Midst grievous downfall-caused anxiety
Pulling me with mercy that never fails.

Your holiness, Lord, graciously prevails
Correcting foolish heart with truth indeed
Pulling me with mercy that never fails
So that from ignorance I can be freed.

Correcting foolish heart with truth indeed
Lead me to the right path without a doubt
So that from ignorance I can be freed
For wisdom-praises’ shout, devoid of pout.

Lead me to the right path without a doubt
Securing my heart upon peace-braced reign
For wisdom-praises’ shout, devoid of pout
Blest to reach-out, sharing blissful hope-gain.

Securing my heart upon peace-braced reign
Let me soar for joyous worship’s conquest
Blest to reach-out, sharing blissful hope-gain
Thankful for answers to prayer request.

Let me soar for joyous worship’s conquest
Clinging to You well, smiting carnal might
Thankful for answers to prayer request
Guarded by Your love from temptation-blight.

Clinging to You well, smiting carnal might
I trust Your Word while to Your will incline
Guarded by Your love from temptation-blight
Oh, God, please check this foolish heart of mine.

Who am I ?

Who am I ?

A burning sensation to some,
For others, a cube of cold ice,
A tasteless element in someone’s life,
Perhaps, for others a rare spice.

I ruin their mood, they say,
For some, I fill colours in their palette of grey,
someone who appears out of nowhere,
a soul shaped by fear.

But who am I ?
I really want to know,
Am I a flower to preserve ?
or maybe a thorn to throw.

People here,
They have put me in the state of confusion,
One moment I hate myself,
The next moment, I sink into complete delusion,

But who am I ?
Many say that I have a kind heart,
But these same humans,
hate me and push me apart,

Who am I ?
That final stroke that makes the painting incredible,
Or the dried out, forgotten paint in the colour tray,
That is replaceable.

But who am I, really ?
Perhaps, someone forced to grow up before her age,
A childhood buried in silence,
still echoing within her as rage.

Premium Member Rapture

I woke up one night, feeling nodes tingle,
entwined with fragrance, I cannot define,
feeling within bliss pheromones mingle,
as head and heart chose with love to align.

Soma nectar dripped slowly through my veins,
sending my heart into spasms of rapture
and as the elixir cleansed feral stains,
I garnered wisdom mind cannot capture.

As my soul evolved, space and time dissolved,
transmuting my form with bliss currents warm,
with desires stalled, inner conflict resolved,
my presence was swept away in this storm.

Bliss in permanence is my soul’s essence ~
glory of love and light’s effervescence.

“Param-brahma (Spirit or God) is everlasting, complete, without beginning or end. It is one, indivisible Being. The Eternal Father, God , Swami Param-brahma, is the only Real Substance, Sat, and is all in all in the universe.”
~ extract from ‘The Holy Science’

we begin with separation
containerised in body-mind
our head and heart standing apart
to truth of our true being blind

the consciousness that’s within us
in a state of inner conflict
seeks to expand but knows not how
pursues desires, by ego tricked

on reaching point of exhaustion
attention is internalised
we then befriend our emptiness
cravings of ego exorcised

just as water seeks its level
our emptiness is filled with bliss
all without force, by grace of course
we realise we’re all of this

sans identity we yet are
pure spirit in this body urn
breath by breath magnetism rises
we embrace love’s benign bliss burn

that God Himself dwells in each form
that Self exists beyond space-time
is truth we behold in plain sight
betwixt the pause of bliss beat’s chime

God is the only true being
unmanifest and manifest
enjoying this dream, grow in love
let deluded thought concepts rest

Premium Member The Pathless Path

When single pointed is our attention
Observing flow of divine magnetism
In timeless time, bliss currents gain traction
As soma flows within mind-body prism

Childlike pure heart and receptive spirit
Celebrates dance of dynamic stillness
Our heart’s burning yearning, resolve and grit
Entwines consciousness with the That oneness

When head and heart meld, inner conflict ends
Erst ego spawned fears and desires are shorn
Vaporised presence, to will of God bends
The false falls away, we become twice born

This beauteous journey without movement
Reveals soul, blissful and luminescent
